Our closest box is missing and I can't see a way of either adding it or notifying the developer. Great idea, lacking execution.
ive worked for Royal Mail for 38 years. i know every post box in my town, but this app shows less than half of them ! it doesnt even show some that are actually outside Post Offices !! rubbish
Doesn't show half of the post boxes and you're unable to add any to the app map either. Almost useless
any way of making it user editable for collection times updates? useful, but incomplete.
Not accurate for times. I can only rely on locations.

This app is useless
Nice idea, but would be better if letterbox info could be downloaded to use offline. Some information is incorrect or missing - and there doesn't appear to be a way to correct it. If you could click on postbox and then open sat-nav (Copilot, TomTom etc), that would be useful.
Should just have locations because times are completely wrong! I've walked to five post boxes to find one which had a collection after 4.15pm after trusting the app and discovering collections were at 9am, not 4.45pm as listed in app!!
There is no way to add missing or incorrect data. Postboxes are missing or have incorrect times and I cannot update! Still may be of use to find some postboxes based on past location, but until there is a way to update info you should not trust times or expect location to be correct.
Missing post boxes, wrong times and can't edit to correct numerous mistakes and incorrect data. Uninstalled.
Great app, if the data were accurate. Great app, if you could correct inaccurate data. Sadly neither are true.
Allow users to input missing info, i.e. Collection times then this app would be worthy of a 5 Star review.
The amount of times I go out of my way to get to post boxes I know when all I needed was this. Now I can look here to see if one is near where I am heading. Saving quite a bit of time so I don't need to make special journeys. Very useful.
Perfect app for finding location of a postbox nearby, but don't rely on last collection times. Says my local box has last collection at 5.15pm, but it's actually 9am!
No post boxes showed up in a highly populated city. Hard to believe that there's 0.

Ran it for the first time and it showed no postbox when I know there is one. Zoomed out and back in but nothing. This app is no use at all - uninstalled!
This app has way too many long-existing postboxes missing - and no way for users to add them. Dev - please look at 'UK Fuel Prices' app to see how users add detail, thanks. Update of Oct 2014 may look ok on latest devices, but it is terrible on older smartfones with legacy os such as Gingerbread.
Even living in a city I often can't find a postbox if I'm not near a post office. A useful, uncluttered and simple geolocation app, with a small size & memory footprint.
At work and needed to post a few letters.. This app came to the rescue... Maybe add missing post boxes in the future... Not sure how you would verify these..

As others have pointed out collection times are incorrect and as another reviewer pointed out it would be good if you could download the data for offline viewing and a feature where the user could add or update the boxes info.

Tried in Portsmouth UK. Works just fine.
I appreciate the effort the developer put into this, but the Royal Mail has now made up-to-date information on postboxes available on its official app. It's astonishing it took them that long and that there was even a need for this unofficial one, but it's now time to retire this app.
