This app is garbage. It connects when it wants to, which is rarely. Tried it again today and the remote and drone had both shut down and it still hadn't connected. Come on Potensic, get this sorted out now. Important update: I contacted the app developer and explained the problem with it. They have responded with a solution, which is simply to put your phone into airplane mode before connecting to WiFi and then the app. I have tried this twice today and it connected instantly on both occasions. For reference, I am using a Motorola Moto G5 with Android 8.1.0 However, I see no reason why it would not work with other phones. Good luck out there.

The app often crashes or fails to fully open to allow on screen controls of the drone and camera footage. I have reinstalled the app but nothing has changed. However, when it does work it's good. Also, the app requests permission to use the phones microphone but not sure why this is needed as no sound is recorded on any video footage that is shot.

App would be great if it didn't require unnecessary permissions. Why are phone and mic access even needed? They definitely shouldn't be required! Storage should also be optional. Most apps will allow you to turn off unnecessary permissions, but unless you give this app everything it asks for, it won't allow control of the drone. Change the permissions requirements and the app would be good.

As a first time user, it was very easy to install and operate. The drone did everything as described. I've used it on multiple occasions, to my satisfaction. I live in a mountainous area without wifi coverage and have 0 connection issues with my drone. The battery life is short, as described. I suggest an extra battery, (3) like I got which ultimately gives you about 25 mins of fly time. roughly 8 -10 mins per battery.

So frustrating, it rarely connects. I've tried to fly my potensic t25 about 10 times and I'm lucky if this app has connected on three of those occasions. WiFi is connected no problem but the app just doesn't pick up the drone. Makes the whole experience frustrating rather than fun. This app manages to spoil an otherwise good drone.

UPDATE: It didn't matter that i turned off data. The App never linked. i saw it pop on network, but still nothing. Camera works & Drone flying is fun. just no app, so no follow me feature. The app won't link to my Samsung note 8 running android. I tried a friends drone of a different brand, and the app did show a picture on the phone through the app. So far Potencies hasn't I'll keep you posted....it did fly, and was controllable in a little wind. Just bumped about the app.

The remote control battery keep showing RED low battery 🔋 no matter how long I charge it. Keep getting errors connecting failed 😕 I got this a Xmas gift from my wife. The weather just got good to try it out for the first time. It is SAD 😔 will not work. Just made my PTSD ho up!@!!^%$@$%!!

FYI - As noted recently by a number of reviewers, the prior update to the app (v 1.3.4) did NOT work as only an empty white screen displayed on the phone. I brought this issue to Potensic's attention via email a week or so ago and they since responded back with another update. This latest version (v1.3.5) has now fixed that issue or at least it did for me!.

Nice app, when it works. Crashes about 80% of the time and the 20% of the time it does work, it only shows the drones camera about 1/10 of the time. At least its not required to fly. Sure is nice when it actually works!

Hit or miss. Half the time I use it with my d50 it vibrates constantly with no range/batt/GPS warnings. Drone will not fly with any MSD card inserted unless it's via the remote only. App sensitivity is also off the charts. When it works, it is pretty darn cool to fly FPV

The app doesn't seem to be compatible with Android 9.0. It will not connect to the drone on my new phone, but will work on my old phone with Android 8. Works well on that, so far.

Recieved a T-25 as a gift. Downloaded this app and it is OK... it does take a minute to update the controller battery level from 0 to full (I always have it charged) No 5 star because of the fact it will not change from beginner mode, so I am limited on my altitude and distance....

awesome gift. you can do allot with this drone. however im updating my 5 start to a three cause although its fun to play with, the app is unreliable and i have yet to be able to get my drone to connect to my phone so i can use it for what i wanted it for. had a purpose but now i have a real expensive toy. could of bought the cheap one without the camera.

it's great. every once in a while I lose video. Never lost remote even at 120 m high. Couldn't be simpler to fly. App works great on my android tablet and my iPhone.

App does not work with OnePlus running Android. It will connect for a minute or two and show me battery is good in both controller and drone... But camera never shows up on my device. Terrible app.

Video feed suddenly stopped working. I can't seem to find any way to connect. very disappointed as many others seem to be according to reviews. I hope this is resolved soon so we can use the drone as intended.

Everything works fine except I can't change the flying parameters. It's stuck on beginner mode, max 30 meters.

Read the other comments. There is some good advice in amongst them. 1) Use an older android handset 2) Disconnect your regular wifi connection 3) Choose the correct model (swipe right) 4) Look at the YouTube how to videos Initially I was disappointed by the tacky feel of the device but after 2 days playing with it OUTDOORS... Surprisingly it was less problematic than indoors! I like it and the app. Definitely worth £150 (Amazon Prime Day 2020 Price)

Works on my t35. sometimes it loses the camera and phone connection but it's wireless could have been interference the remote never lost connection even at 65 m high and 65 m away

You're required to allow the app to make and receive phone calls if you want to use it to control the quadcopter or see video from the camera while in flight. Why is this? Not very happy with that fact.

App Doesn't work. Tried connecting to Android countless times to no avail. The main point of me purchasing this drone was to connect it via my device, that doesn't work so it's not worth the money.

This should be zero stars. This company needs to give us a refund. I was watching the camera feed from the drone. I selected for the drone to return home. It flew to the maximum returning height then flew faster than I ever saw it fly before into a tree. I tried to get it out using the app controls but it had glitched out saying that to "initiate calibration". This app nor the drone deserve to be out there. Do not download this app from those idiots as you will waste your money.

This app has worked fine for me, but the status line is in Chinese. As I cannot read Mandarin, I'm only guessing when my T-25 is ready to fly. Potensic should be embarrassed and issue an update and an apology!

It is an ok app if you use it just for the pictures but it does take the battery down a lot and the drone only can go for about 7 minutes but its decent to be so small and it also comes with 2 batteries so it could be worse

Finally after figuring it out,once had the update, when using the WiFi to connect to the drone, reset the connection,forget button to connect the WiFi connection amd reconnect again from fresh,the drone finally worked

After I read some reviews I tried to use it with flightmode and it seem like working good App crashed 90% of the times can't connect to drone Then canot go out of beginner mode and cannot see the camera view Very sad

No major problems here. Worked right after installing by following the instructions step be step. Every now and then, I had to start from the beginning because I missed/misread a step. Overall, it does what it claims.

Great Drome for the money. People fuss about the camera. Well there ia 4 blades running really fast. That creates what we call vibration. Thats why the cameras are so so. Great easy to use app abd drone. Dont understand 3.0 stars
