Potion Explosion

It's a great game, and the board game it's based on is awesome as well. Great for strategy and a fun theme. The app, however, has a bad glitch where the screen gets stuck right at the end of a match. I'd be about to see the "who won" screen, but it's just showing the loading gears and background. If app is restarted, the almost-finished match is erased. I hope this gets fixed soon.

The set up rules are incorrect. I do not get to choose my starting potions. Other than that everything else is flawless. But please update and fix this...its not fun when you are forced with two potions that just don't combo too well and it feels worse when you had no choice with it from the start. It may seem petty, but someone else who has a great set of potions can really pull ahead with points early on, and then you are left stuck with playing catch up the rest of the game.

This is honestly one of the best board game adaptations I've seen. The graphics look great, the potion effects as well. Having played the board game prior to this, I actually prefer the app. No setup, no possibility of literally losing ones marbles. The only thing that I don't like is that your starter potions are randomly assigned to you, whereas you get a choice in the actual game. Excellent game and expansion!

User interface is very problematic. Its very easy to mistouch an ingredient and have your game ruined. Why can't we have a validation after choosing an ingredient? Also, when you are choosing potions for replacing a completed one, it would make a big difference to be able to look at opponent's table. There could also be a way to create a game and leave it hanging waiting for other players to join. It's nearly impossible to find opponents without this feature, which is common in other online games

Such a great game and the graphics in the app are lovely. It's so buggy though. I've just bought the expansion and it's gotten worse. It won't register the turn I've taken in an online game with my partner. Every time either of us opens the game it takes us back two turns. I couldn't find anywhere to flag customer support within the app.

I've played the board game a lot, and never seen such sequences of luck as the computer has in this game. Even on easy, the computer frequently gets outstanding combos and marble drops. Also will often draw high value potions when your given a choice of 3's and 4's. Worth the purchase to be able to play the game on the move, but am sceptical about the "luck" and randomness factor that the Devs have programmed.

This boardgame is perfect for asynchronous play thanks to a very small number of turns per player, each of which being near independent puzzles. This digital port is pretty good! Yet, there is room for improvements: the 6th slot readily visible; the 1st never masked by the eye button; a way to leave the creation of tables before other players join them; games sometimes stall just bf the final score display; a button for random professors selection; better AI; ...

Fantastic and addicting It's got a good variety of potions and professors to keep the game interesting. It's challenging but not super hard, especially once you understand all the potions and how to really get good combinations going. All in all a fantastic game that does the board game justice.

Love the board game, but as an app it stinks! Impossible to win against the "Easy" robot no matter what you do! The way it's set up it's easy to see your explosions happen, but the robot's happens so fast you can't tell what is going on. He can pull one ingredient and get a ton of explosions. Pretty sure the robot cheats. It might be okay if you enjoy playing online against others, but that's not really my thing and you have to pay to play against any of the professors.

Great games but as others have stated the expansion appears to bring a lot of bugs onto the table. Sometimes I'll create a game with friends and once it's time for my turn I'll have been replaced by a bot. Also getting stuck in a loop of past turns still comes up. Please fix, this is brutal.

The game itself is amazing and so worth it. It does have crashing issues on and off line. And you can't reach anyone via email. But the game is truly my favorite. Game play is smooth and fun

Please fix the game, it crashes at the end, when the final score should be displayed Edit : i played 2 games and both of them crashed at the end, just before the final score screen. The game also crashed when I loaded it, at the loading screen, i had to uninstall and reinstall it

Superb game. The digital implementation is one of the best. Love the analog, own it but digital helps if you are alone. One thing though, when you activate a potion, hope you can forgo the action and return back not using it. Also creating online game shouldn't wait til players are joining. Can be on the background. Found some bugs or errors on ongoing plays. Somehow it doesn't progressing at some points and I keep repeating my turn.

It's a good implementation except that it's missing a cancel button. Whereas in the actual game you can undo actions which don't line up, if you click the wrong potion there is no way to cancel it again. It's also a massive battery hog. It'll drain your battery.

It's a great game. I play this on a daily basis, so I purchased the expansion. I'm really disappointed because the expansion makes the game buggy. Sometimes it won't let me use potions or even end my turn, and there's no option to report bugs, so I don't know how they know there's issues.

Even with the easy AI they get triple the points. Not a fun game if you are losing every game. Plus the AI gets great posion explosion combos every time getting 6-8 marbles at a timw but when it comes to your turn you are lucky if you get 2 or 3 marbles. If it was more than 2 bucks I would habe asked for a refund

I originally gave this five stars but since getting the expansion the game has become too buggy to play online. Games get stuck, with turns just resetting when they are finished. It has not been updated since 2018 so I am not expecting any fixes.

On Pixel 3XL, when you are selecting new potions after completing some is not displayed correctly and you cannot see the numbers. Aside from that, this is my favorite game. Super fun and always different.

The game is ok but very hard to win against even the easy ai. It does not make it fun when it is so hard squeak or a win on easy. I'm scared to see what medium and hard are like. Is probably lose on the first 3 rounds. Glad I got it on sale.

Great game ruined by bugs. Used to run perfectly but upgraded my phone and now freezes 9/10 when calculating scores at the games end. A real shame.

My wife and I had a game going and all of a sudden the game was gone and we had to start a new one! This happen 2 times! Very frustrating. You need to fix this. This is a great game. I have the live version of this game. It's fun to play with my wife while our schedules are so busy. Thanks once you fix this i will give 5 stars. Samsung S21 plus and my wife had the Samsung S21. Great game, just lacks a community to play online with, once you start beating three computer opponents on hard handily, it looses it's charm, but that's not the fault of the game.

Nice and colorfull adaptation. Please create a search for online players without the need to be in the active app. For example, you just create a lobby and exit the game. When all the players are found, you get a start notification. There are few online players and waiting takes a long time.

GAME NEEDS AN UNDO BUTTON!!! Potion Of Prismatic Joy only allowed me to place one of the three ingredients in my pool into a potion. If you leave the game after clicking a potion, but do not use the ability, when you return to the game the potion will be spent.

Potion Explosion is a great board game adaptation, and the UI of this app is top notch. Sadly it won't accept my Asmodee login and I cannot play this app anymore.

I love this game and this happ has good ui. However, it crashes at the end of the game more times than not. I'm tired of playing a bunch of partial games.

Haven't been able to play a (solo, haven't tried online) game for more than 5 minutes without it just closing out back to homescreen on Android TV/box.

I paid for this game and half the time it doesn't count your games or achievements. There is so few players that unless you personally know people who have the game you can only play offline. There is no way to contact customer service to file complaints. The board game is much better.
