Potion Maker for Skyrim
When used with the Skyrim Savegame Utilities program, you can load the latest alchemy information for your character and use this app to discover what ingredients are required for one or two effects.
Or you can (cheat) and use all ingredients to discover recipes.
Each page has a help button that brings up context sensitive help for that page. Please read each page to learn how to use the app and all of its options.

I need your feedback! I spent many hours trying to make the app use the same algorithms that the game uses when determining the effects of a potion (the highest priority effect determines the type of potion and the name the game gives it). I can't test every possible combination of ingredients to see if it is 100% accurate or not.

I would like to rate this higher but it is really confusing on how to get started. I didn't even know I needed an application for my PC until I tried to comment on the Forum which is locked to new memberships. I think a YouTube video on how to get started and use the application would be a great idea. Link to it in the app description.
don't know if app author still active but its 2018 the app not working, no XML files created...

Very very easy to use but section 47 potion I think 815 was weird iney ways nice app easy to understand but that's probably beacous my iq is 138 I'm not considered a genius but I'm smart you should also try to look up skyrim elder scrolls v test guide it's a lot easier to use lol

This app is just confusing from the start. My first impression when opening the app was, "okay.. What do i do now?" the help button helped a little bit, but it wasn't descriptive/elaborate enough. Im not much of a techy person, so idk how to sync this app with the pc. It would help if the intructions were more specific & had a more "step by step" format. This is shown as a skyrim specific app, so in the help pages it would help if it corresponded w/ the game. I hope this review helps w/future updates!!
