I can't vouch for this company anymore. It popps up an auto boost "feature" that is very intrusive and disturbs every facet of your every day phone use. I told the power clean team specifically that there was no option to turn it off and it was even popping up AFTER I uninstalled the app. they shot me an email stating that I could simply turn it off. This is simply an example of the level of incompetence that some small companies have stooped too. Now I have to reset my phone.
The app does what it says, however I have one complaint. I don't mind the ads because the app needs to pay for itself HOWEVER some of the ads have loud music which causes me to quickly dash to my phone to turn the volume down. why do the ads need any music at all? and to further compound the problem once I turn the volume down I forget to turn it back up again and then I'll miss important notifications so although the app is very useful it's also very annoying.
Current version is unusable. Every single action results in at least 1 ad, some times 2. Clicking the disable button on certain portions of the app no longer does anything, you'll get the exact same popup again even though you disabled that feature. I've been using this app for YEARS, I'm a little sad to have just permanently uninstalled it from all my devices.
App was useful, but the frequent ads were driving me nuts. Also, it seemed to over-tax my android phone and slowed it down. I've removed it and am going to see if the phone improves and I can do without it. If that's not the case, and performance is worse, I may reinstall it, notwithstanding the ads.
almost as bad as its seeming big brother, invasive, over bearing little brats the both of them. interruption after interruption. NEW FUTHER REVIEW; I like the service of being able to clean my phone and so forth, of junk and all of the things your apps do. however, your apps are uncontrollable! interruption after interruption during an email or text communication. while I'm entering my password for mobile banking. frustrating to say the least. Fix it guys, then I'll use it. is that clear enough
Does what it says, provides you all the options (example: CPU Cooler) that all the good cleaners have. It is better organized than most allowing it to be easy to used and customize. The Ads are not really a problem for example while trying it out running for 10 minutes only 2 ADs that where easy to close poped up. My only problem is that it eats my battery life in the 10 minutes 10 percent was drained. I admit I have a cheap samsung whose battery life is barely 7 hours, so should work better on phones than the ones you buy at gas stations.
I love this app and subscribed. Problem is, it puts a black bar, line thing on my screen during auto boost. I have uninstalled until fixed. Developer responded rapidly, still no resolve. I have a Motog6 Play, if that helps anyone else. I will 5 * "Lion" when issue fixed and I can use again! UPDATE: Still have a line on auto boost and game icon does not open game folder, it simply opens Power Clean. It at least is working again. Come on "Lion"! I know you will resolve these 2 issues.
It has a few helpful tools but the # of adds one has to endure, & time wasted closing the adds makes it a huge waste of time. Also it has a pattern lock key and I wish I would never had opted to use because it pops up everwhere. It got to be that I had to swipe the pattern, just to move or do anything on my own phone between apps and tools! It is so cumbersome. I am uninstalling NOW! IT NEEDS VAST IMPROVEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm dumping it. Makes impression that it has cleaned large quantity of useless data and then you check your storage and realize the gains have been minimal. I felt there was major disruption in my phone and text messaging due to this app. The quantity of there in-app ads appears that they want you to download five new apps for every cache they clear.
It seems the app is making stuff up. the message about x number of programs draining the battery says that programs will be hibernated until used again, always showed programs that I know I had not used since the last time this was done. I was doing it daily because it always found things draining battery that could be hibernated. today my battery was charged to 100% when I got on my landline for 45 min, ie, was not using cell at all. after 45 min the battery was 67%. That's it for me. Removing.
Best app so far that I have used and I've gone through quite a few. The only problem is the ads they pop up nearly every time I press a button. But I can understand you are trying to earn money and make the app better so that's the only problem i have. I've recommend it to all my friends that have to much junk on there phone and they love it as well. So thx you guys, one of the best cleaning apps ever.
turns your phone into an advertising device. the moment you touch it, turn it on, take it out of the power socket, change apps, it will "Optimise" and send you an ad. thanks but no thanks. and now doesn't completely uninstall. still having the annoying "optimise" screen.
hope this does not stop downloading movie like other cleaning app intensively done or started doing. some apps you want to work in background....not all closed or disabled. so...going to try this one now. I like the feedback the creator is doing...it shows he cares. I'm giving 4 stars on that, until I notice something amiss
OK, I like most of what its advantages it afford me but, despite my willingness to tolerate the ads, there are some ads with "countdowns" that refuse to let me take an incoming call until the usually five second countdown is finished. These ads differ in that they refuse to allow me the primary function of the phone! What obnoxious nerve! THAT kind of obtrusive ad should never have been allowed ! It means my phone is not mine anymore, it belongs to the advertiser. For the duration of the ad!
I like this app but there's something about it that bothers the hell out of me. The screen lock stops working after a few minutes and I need an app to keep my personal info protected. This is a must for me when it comes to a security app. Without this, the app becomes useless to my phone. I hope you guys who made this app correct this bug as soon as possible. I would give it a five stars rate but this but won't let me until this bug is fixed.
Nothing but ads, even music to disrupt The Silence of a workspace is unacceptable. Can't even get to the cleaning portion without going through several ads. Really, a worthless waste of time. Dump it before you waste yours! Or even better don't download it. Loud obnoxious music with the ads, really? How stupid!
I used power clean for awhile and stopped thinking it didn't make a difference and I'm back so that should show how much I missed everything about it. My phone is much faster and the features were missed no kidding!!! Tell a friend this is worth the little time it takes to download and then some.
Amazing app a must have, your phone will appreciate it. It has all kinds of uses including cpu cooler and battery saver. I use it all the time cleaning junk cache that accumulates fast on your phone. I dont even mind the ads cause I want to support the developers. Just one ad after each use is not bad. Great app.
this app is nice and there's adds to but It's not a problem to me if I get the job done. but what kind of junk does this app clean. I'm asking the creator to put a device cache cleaner. I try to use other apps but they have to many bugs. but power clean doesn't have bugs. it works perfect. I wish the creator will add a cache cleaner to this app it would really help me to free up my device .
I normally get alot of annoying sound notifications from Chrome, texts and emails. Now I don't. With your app I can periodically check my phone for notifications and remove them after I've read them. However, I think you have way too many ads.
i purchashed the no-ad paid product. its deep cleaning, easy to understand, and interface is user friendly. And overall, for the cost you can't beat it. Actually I personally believe its a sweet deal. Only one drawback and hope you folks can fix; after using functions on homepage (HP), it takes additional clucks to return to the HP. For me, it gets irritating. Now, since I wrote a lengthy but true review, how about a free one-year subscription? HMU OK? Not kidding. Thank you for the power app.
Easy to use with multiple options. More than just a cleaner app. This has options to Hibernate or 'Crush' individual apps that run in the background, Cools down the CPU, Performance Booster for Games and phone in general, Multiple different Cleaning Options, Antivirus and MORE
I can't handle all the ads. I know a lot of apps have them, but I just can't deal with it when they pop up when I'm not even using the app, and it's not open on my screen... shouldn't have ads popping up in my face when I'm trying to do business. It's a wonderful cleaner though. I've used it for a long time, off and on of course.
Good app, used to like it, but advertisements became too aggressive, interfering with the phone's functionality (covered the whole home screen upon waking up the device), so I had to uninstall it! Since I uninstalled it, the phone has been running much better! Cut back on ads that block the home screen and eat up system memory, and I'll consider it.
