Power Failure Monitor also have ability to delay the alarms for the “short” power failure, to avoid send wrong alarms when someone cut the Android device power in mistake (can be set in the application, default delay is 3 seconds).
Supported alarms:
* Auto send Email alarms to multiple recipients (Required to use Gmail account to send). Optionally take a picture as attachment, to let you see more clearly about the environment in the server room;
* Auto send SMS alarms;
* Popup message in the system notification bar
* Play system default sound (Same as SMS)
Important: Although Power Failure Monitor can run in background, and have menu in the system notification bar to back to its main screen, we suggested running in foreground only, to prevent be closed by Android system.
To be able to send Email even your environment is power failure, we suggest that use GPRS / 3G to send alarm Emails, instead of use Wifi since the Wifi router will be unable to work when the power is failure.
This tool can also auto send current status by minutes, or specified times on specified days, then you know the monitor is still running or something wrong.
Hint: This application will use the system default prompt sound as alarm sound, to change this sound please go system settings to change.
If you have problems to send email alarm, we recommend to check following things:1. Make sure you had enabled Power Failure Monitor Internet access permission if you are running on an Android 5.0+ device, or had turned OFF firewall;2. Both "Send From" and "Login Username" option need to fill your email address, for example [email protected]. If you are using Gmail, please make sure you had enabled your gmail account "Low security device" login option, details can be found here:https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/60102554. If you are sending email through VPN, please make sure your VPN ISP does not block SMTP ports (like 25, 465, 587...)

Recieving emails after removal of reciever email with send email option disabled. Please fix it. And Wifi disconnects automatically once charger disconnects. How to fix it?
I'm using the default email program on Samsung, how do you setup the email function in the app, I've tried, but it keeps telling me sending email error.
The app works, now, I don't feel it's fully reliable because sometime I receive the alert and sometime not. Please stabilize the app and I'll pay for it. Thank you.
Email is failing with some java exception error. I tried gmail. All it does is bugg you with annoying adds. Not recomended

Great app. Very simple. Worked first try. Only app that seems to send email. Fyi start a new gmail account dedicated just to this app to avoid secuity concerns.
Please update and fix. Need an app that will send email for power failure. This doesn't work.
it works! i had trouble with the email notification and realised i had to change the security settings at gmail (less secure apps needs to be allowed) anyway... it works...
Works Great. Put on an old android phone to cover a socket( that covers my heat tape) sends an email to myself and wife, ( set up to send to email that goes to a text) Power goes out, 10 seconds later, We both get a text. thank you
BULLSHIT app! App crashes if we DECIDE to NOT allow pics to b taken. THAT is NOT proper etiquette for Google Play Apps,. idiot!

Found that the application is not really intuitive. Does not automatically save your settings, but instead saves when you hit the back key. Also, seems to stop working if phone is set to sleep automatically after a certain amount of time..
Working fine, just need to be configured properly and setting double checked prior to start. In my case lost e-mail server settings twice.
It has stopped working twice now. In one week. If you just touch the start again even though it's still shows it running. It will start again. :-(
Tested sms only, and it works. Free version with full features, really appreciate.

Couldn't get it to send a test email or SMS
I have potential for serious flooding in my basement if my sump pumps stop. I was looking for a way to notify us when there is a power outage. I have several old Android phones. I was able to load this APP under another email account, make the appropriate changes to the settings and after several tests this seems to work well. If I have any issues with this APP I will update my review.
Downloaded it just long enough to see it ask for permission to access my files and run the camera for pictures and video. I can think of no reason why such permissions are needed for the task this app is asked to do. Deleted it without any further attempts at use.

Very difficult to set up the email server! Finally it worked for the wifi and then for some reason it doesn't work on 4g. Tried other smtp servers that worked on my ipad but don't work with this app. Gave up!
