Power Rangers: All Stars

This game is probably the best Power Ranger game to date. The gameplay is simple, but fun. Building unique teams is fantastic, and there's always something to do without being behind a paywall, at least so far. It has a few technical issues. The camera could benefit from being player controlled, or at least tweaked, as it likes to sometimes hide behind the environment, obstructing view. There is also an issue regarding touching the screen to move your selected character versus touching your screen to power your specials. Perhaps instead of a swipe feature for powering up, another mechanic could be introduced. In all, especially for mobile, having a lot of fun.

Update: I DID EVERYTHING YOU SUGGESTED! The game STILL freezes after several minutes of play. It's a game issue! Before the update I didn't have to be on wifi to play and I had no issues whatsoever. The game was fun, but now, after the last update, it keeps randomly freezing. I've read to restart the game. I have, and it still freezes. With so many ppl having the same issue, please note that it's NOT the user's fault. Please fix this issue or I'll just have to uninstall and move on. Thank you!

This game is loads of fun. It's awesome to see so many Power Rangers series represented in one game to allow fans and newcomers a chance to build their favorite teams. Controls are simple enough and it's action packed right up until the fight ends. It can be a little hectic trying to pick a target when loads of weaker enemies start swarming the field, but if you can work through that, then it's tons of fun. And for free, this is definitely a game worth trying, no matter which series you're most in to.

Power rangers was a big part of my childhood. Im not one to write reviews often, but i feel it necessary as i really want this game to thrive. The controls are confusing at times. But thanks to an auto feature, it makes it just as enjoyable to turn it on and watch as your team fights monsters. Yes, its a game that has pay options, but so far, it hasnt seemed necessary. I gave it a 5. But id almost say 4.5 as its still new and needs a little work.

I have to say that I am just not fond of the control scheme for a game like this. No full control of a character, just a tap to move. A virtual analogue would work better for starters. Camera angle is terrible enemies attacking you off screen and I also think the character pose animations should be better, it's too fluid and no weight. I love the concept of this game, just the controls ruin it for me.

Was super excited when I pre registered. Unfortunately it's little to no gameplay and at that it's not even satisfying. First missions cost 8 stamina. 8?? Almost impossible to get new rangers without paying. Cameras angles are terrible. Almost always staring at a wall and can't even use the terrible skills. Just a set up for a pay to win game. Won't recommend to anyone.

The game is fun and I am excited about all the different Rangers. Controls are awful, I often click on enemies to have the selected character just run up next to the enemy and stand there without attacking. I spent a few hours playing yesterday, but today when I logged in to play my account was reset so now I have to start all over. Also where is my bonus for pre-registering?

The monetization is pretty bad it is a combination of too many different methods to make a really frustrating experience. The "battle pass" is 45$ to get ranger pieces on each tier, the gacha system is a fire emblem like wheel but instead of giving you a full character they only give you pieces, which after x amount of a ranger you can unlock that ranger. But wait there is more! To raise the star of the hero you must also use pieces...except instead of raising it by 1 star each time you get the required amount it gives your ranger a +1,2,3,4 and you have to get to +5 to raise it 1 star. So as you can see the game is designed to pull on your nostalgia and open that wallet. Gameplay is functional, the action is fluid and using skill interface as well as moving your characters is new to me and I did like it. But auto normally was a much better way to go. The speed of the combat was refreshingly quick and the ×2 actually felt like it. All in all the monetization methods left a massivly sour taste in mouth that combat really couldn't fix.

Game is fun and all, but the biggest issue is camera. Rotation would really be nice if you're allowing us to control characters. There was a early on stage where camera was behind some kind of building and I couldn't see the fighting. Character switching and monster selecting should be tweeted to be easier. Other than that, it's fun.

The game was VERY slow to respond on my tablet. It made playing incredibly frustrating. Uninstalling. Edit: I hate when I'm told the issue is my wifi, when I know for a fact my internet is working perfectly with every other app except the one that's giving me issues. I uninstalled the game and watched netflix instead and netflixed worked perfectly with my wifi. So the internet was not the problem...

This game is lackluster. It has fun elements and mechanics, and fun rangers to use and play with, but the glitches are absolutely too much for anybody to handle. it CONSTANTLY resets your progress when you log back into the game several times, and it FORCES you to start all the way back over for no reason. not only that, the game hasn't updated in over a year. if you're not updating the game anymore, TAKE IT DOWN! the items are overpriced and it has too many glitches. I'm disappointed with this.

I like it but more work needs to be done. First off, the game looks tiny the print is small and i almost have to squint or bring my phone closer to my face to read anything. The main menu.. tiny. Graphics, solid. You cant zoom in enough or rotate the camera? Smh. The combat system can be smoother. Switching charaters and directing them during battle should be easier. My account is Level 6 atm and i havent heard a single voice yet.

Love the game style, game play, and characters. Truly and disappointed with development and poor management of the game at this point. I just created a profile got through the tutorial signed into Google and claimed rewards. The game signs off after a few battles randomly and went start the game again, I'm back at tutorial with none of the characters or abilities I had before. I am very disappointed sadly 😥😞😔. No update to characters either. My issue was same last time. No development since.

This game was fun. But after move games took over it went down the Toilet. From updates to non-existent costumer service. As of 5/4/2020 I tried to log on to see all of my progress gone. Uninstalled and reinstalled to see if it would fix it. It did not. Now when it starts up the tutorial plays then crashes, and repeats. Please fix this as it is one of the few things that gives me a sense of normalcy during this pandemic.

Great base game. Great controls. Great graphics and gameplay loop. Monetization scheme is complete garbage. From the Event progression with specific ranger groups, to the $40 monthly pass, which should offer alot more. Premium Crystal currency is in low quantity and the costs for upgrading endgame ranger levels using normal in game currency is as you expect absurdly high. Games like this I wish i could buy for one price with the occasional expansion buy.

This game used to be a 5 Star for me, but since it switched hands, it's become stagnant. Nexon would have events every few weeks, introduce new teams, new features, and obviously fix bugs. MoveGames has done none of this. They haven't even turned on basic functions of the game or attempted to fix bugs. I gave up on this game since MoveGames seemingly bought it just to let it die, unless they have some massive overhaul in the works, which is taking months to roll out. But that seems doubtful.

I like the game. My only complaints with this game are that the getting the special event rangers, after the event, are very expensive. Either bring back the event or put it in the dimensional rift. Also, the dimensional arena only has one arena background. It would be cool if you input different backgrounds to make it interesting. Aside from that, great game.

Overall good game. Interesting game machanics. Simple enough to learn. Packages are way too expensive. Helpful tip: If you lose your data, change your server in Settings. There's a bug that everyone (myself included) is experiencing where the game randomly reassigns you to a new server making it appear as if your game has been deleted. Rest assured it's there, just on another server. This will happen almost everytime you re-open the application. VERY FRUSTRATING NEXON! Please fix. 😁

Great game! The story is decent, thus far, good graphics for a mobile game. Runs well. Lots of modes and creating your own Ranger teams is addicting. Does need some fine tuning, though issues are minor. Seems to have been well built since the launch. Thought and love were put into this. I'm hoping for some crossover events like Legacy Wars did with Street Fighter. Maybe some other 90's nostalgia like Beetleborgs, VR Troopers, and/or something outta this world like My Hero Academia or Soul Calibur VI. Just my personal opinion. I love crossovers.

Neat game with a lot of potential in the future. Few gripes are minor but easily fixable. There are some translation snafus, some have been fixed by the time of this review but some do still exist. Also a weird cross of Power Ranger and Super Sentai references pop up which some of the latter don't make sense given the context. These mostly pop up in skill sets where they reference the Sentai counterparts. RPM for example refer to the Go-Onger titles. Granted, I kinda like the Sentai references but I can see the mismatch issues. Another minor gripe is the "genericness" of the mobs. They appear to be leftovers of Maplestory and tend to not really fit into Power Rangers. It would be nice to see them changed into the various foot soldiers and monsters of the week from the series.

If you a Power Ranger fan then this game is a must play. Unique story line crossover that starts from a different series and not the original. Controls are simple, point, decide if special move is needed and watch the action. Do was the manual control is a bit better. Hard to point with big hands in a small screen. Just started but so far enjoying it.

A lot of fun. It's nice to have a good Power Rangers game, now that Legacy War has gone downhill. The only thing I don't like, but definitely understand why it is designed this way, is needing to use all five rangers from a specific series to use a Megazord. Makes sense, but a little annoying. Overall, great game. Plesse don't ruin the game by adding overpowered heroes that require money to buy.

I was really enjoying this game. Worked my way up to level 15 and logged out. When I logged back in my game had reset back to level 1. Had several Rangers unlocked and finally got a MegaZord. Uninstalling this as of now!!! *Update After the review I get a message from the developers on how to fix the problem. Now we straight. Thanks for the help. 5 stars baby!!!

Game was fun, but summoning is too expensive, 200 diamond for getting small amount of ranger pieces at random. Im worry it will drag the progression rate too slow. Right now from the event and mission, getting ranger is quite fast, but after that, progression will be very harsh. Need to review again the pricing to balance it out. Even paying cash to buy the diamond will get you nowhere. Other than that, it was fun, lots of stats, skill, quest and stuff to do. Thats awesome!!

I really believe the gameplay was good, but it lacked a lot of detail. They should've created a team of rangers that are unique to the game. Rangers never before seen that the storyline revolves around. The could've incorporated ideas created in the "Shattered Grid" saga off the comic series, but instead have villains and heroes coming together as a team to prevail against a common enemy that plans to destroy the grid and reality throughout the multiverse and time itself. The majority of the game is garbage. Nothing at all line Future Fight which they are saying the game has been positively compared to.
