Was working perfectly until 2-3 days ago. After update 1, two days ago, the brightness slider failed. After today's update, it's not closing correctly, leaving black bars on the screen, or preventing the keyboard (Gboard) from opening, or closing. Would like to download a previous version, or have to uninstall it. Since notifications are somehow most important, those failures make them unusable - and the keyboard issue makes the whole phone unusable. Please fix it... Thank you! Good app.

App works well when it works. I purchased the Premium version. My only complaint is randomly the app will not work anymore and I have to go into the app and turn it off and back on. It's a big issue. In the accessibility menu it shows service is malfunctioning and I turn it off and back on then the app off and back on and it works.

Way, way, way TOO many ads. I think everyone's gone a little ad-crazy here in recent times. It's gotten to the point where I'm starting to wonder if any of this is even real or if I'm living in some nightmare cartoon hell. I don't need to see a Facebook games ad for thirty seconds every. Single. Time. I. Do. Anything. In. Your. App. How could that POSSIBLY be doing anything to make anyone money? How's it doing anything besides making me upset and tired of everyone's bs even more than I was?

Only thing I don't like is when I try to dismiss an ad where the "X" is very close to the top, it causes the notifications bar to appear, BLOCKING YOU FROM DISMISSING THE AD.... EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!

This is fine but once I clear it in the background it will stop working and need to be restarted. I think it's highly annoying for me because I always want my recent apps clean

Still Completely unusable, unacceptable for a paid app. I already contacted support three months ago multiple times and app is still useless for me and most others. Customer support is non existent. Avoid like the plague..

I understand if you subscribe, ads are gone, any subscription app based do that, but there a limit bout how much ads showed. And anytime i open notification, default notification and power shade notification show up, then what the point of power shade? Ive tried several notifications app you have, but all like that, default and yours notification openes at same time, fyi, i use andro 12

I have an issue with mobile data + wifi, when clicking the icon it takes me to the settings instead of turning wifi/ data on or off. :(((

It does what it says. If you have a Pixel and hate the Android 12 notification shade fiasco, this will help you not want to throw your phone across the room. It's not quite perfect, the awful Pixel notification shade does come up behind it, but then goes away. Activating from the sides works very well. Options are clear and easy to understand. Thank you for making this app!

Muted whatsapp notification now make a sound, extremely annoying when you are in groups. *update, contacted support, explaining in high detail of the issue. They wouldn't help unless I sent them a screenshot of the issue. I explained that it was a bit difficult to screenshot a sound, but their reply was, we can't help you without a screenshot. I'd now give this a -1* if it was possible!

Custom backgrounds, advanced settings, & remove ads require pro, but what is free is decent. My big issue is that pro requires a subscription. It's only $10 a year which is cheaper than most, but it's disappointing they don't even offer a one-time payment offer like most do. It also doesn't work with the swipe down gesture to open the notification panel in apps like Nova launcher. You have to set a custom shortcut. otherwise it opens the real notification panel.

Works pretty well on the Pixel 6 Pro. But the native one kept coming up behind it. Solved it without root w/ combo of app settings & gesture controls in Nova Launcher. 5 stars if settings were less confusing to hide the native phone app. Also, it helps to restart the phone if you enable side or bottom swipe! It's also annoying that we can't purchase outright, without the free month trial. Can't find any in app link. I love the full app. Solved my woes. Want my money or not?

It's okay but a few issues hold it back from being amazing. The system panel won't stop coming down at the same time so I have two notification panels open. Also I'd like a gear button in the main header so I don't have to swipe twice to get to settings Edit: Adding a star. I found 'always show footer row' which added the gear. Now the only problem is the system shade.

Does not work with Android 12. It brings down both the built in notification bar and the power shade bar. A shame. Was excited to have this. There is an option to "override system bar" for premium features and it kind of works but only half the time Basically, it doesn't disable the android 12 notircafion bar so you end up with two notification bars. Will update my review if they ever fix this. Don't pay for this.

As many others have said, the app pulls the Android 12 notification bar behind it. So you have to close it after you use this bar. That's far too clunky for me. Additionally, this app stopped working anyway after a few hours. And it requires full control of your phone which I'm a little uncomfortable with. But primarily the 1 star is because of the double notification bar issue that hundreds of people have reported yet they reply to you like they've never heard of it. They just say 'clarify'

I was getting really excited about this. I was ready to buy the pro version within the first 5 minutes of use. Then I saw that it is $99.99 PER YEAR. Forget it. I'd be fine spending $35 once, but I am not paying for a service. Otherwise, so far it has been useful. EDIT: And now it doesn't want to work consistently... Definitely not worth an annual subscription, especially one that is $100...

Ces. M. Apr 22, 2022

Simply put, doesn't work. Like others have said it is very clunky. It doesn't disable the stock notification shade, so it ends up pulling down two separate ones. I also can't get it to work with the pixel 5 rear fingerprint sensor. If you're trying to change android 12's stock notification shade, you're out of luck. Don't bother with this. I wouldn't have rated 1 star, but they have the audacity to charge for this.

PSA: DEVELOPER SEEMS TO BE DELETING REVIEWS. Decent app and works as described. But almost all the features are locked behind a paywall and require a monthly subscription. I'm willing to pay for the functionality, but not as a subscription - especially when it's about the same cost as a movie streaming service.

The app places a small bubble over my screen at all times. It also does not prevent Android's default quick settings menu from showing behind the Power Shade one. The buttons and brightness control don't even work. Maybe I need to go into Android's settings to grant permission to change system settings, but then why wasn't this one included in the permissions the app says it needs when it first starts? Anyway it's not worth trying because of the first two problems.

Bar. C. Feb 25, 2022

It's a great, well made app. It may not provide all the customization options on earth like some Launchers do, but everything is super polished as if it was the System's notification shade. But I'm not going to pay yet another yearly subscription just to customize the quick settings size or have no tile border. A lot of small subscription adds up. With no one-time purchase option, I won't be using this one.

Doesn't work reliably on the Pixel 4 on Android 12--doesn't bring up the menu or brings up both it and the stock which defeats the purpose of the app. Ads and pushes to subscribe are obnoxious to the point of conflicting with the app. Needs to fix so both menus don't get pulled down and reconsider the pricing. Way too expensive for this. Good customization but again doesn't do the only thing it needed to do.

Dir. G. Jan 8, 2022

On Pixel 5 (Android 12), it also opens the built-in quick settings behind, regardless of the app settings. The Pixel's built-in fingerprint scanner on the back can use the stock capability of opening, but the scanner won't also dismiss Power Shade. Closing the stock quick settings always results in Power Shade popping up again...so you must close Power Shade, then the stock version, then Power Shade again. For $100 per year I would expect a better experience. Can't uninstall fast enough.

Excellent thought, however, on pixel 4a the after swiping down the status bar and displaying quick setting, I have to swipe upwards twice to get back to where I was - first swipe closes the power shade menu, but reveals the regular android 12 menu. I can override the system status bar, which results in only the second swipe-down menu (after the first attempt to close it) to show as another power shade menu (instead of the Android 12 menu). Once you fix this, I'll re-evaluate.

Jer. S. Apr 11, 2022

there's a bug that caused the notification panel to block the entire screen except the bottom navigation bar, and unable to pull back up. Had to either restart the phone or perform an advanced fix to exit this almost bricked state. This is unacceptable for such an app. - - - Also like others mentioned it doesn't fully replace the system control center especially on landscape mode.

Ste. B. Feb 1, 2022

I installed in hope that I could get the old notification and quick buttons back. It did that. For one day. The app seems to get disabled every day or two and I can't figure out why. I don't really want to troubleshoot or have to regularly fight with settings to get something to work anymore.

First I would like to say what a great app this is! Well done! I just want to offer some recommendations. Currently, when you swipe down to bring the notification tray down, it's sort of glitchy and not smooth. And my second one is when you expand a notification, the extra text does not show. For example, the rest of a text message doesn't show. This makes is nearly impossible to respond to a text message through the notification shade.
