Power Toggles

It used to be a must have on every device I owned. But it hasn't been updated since 2015 and shortly after that it became incompatible with the newer versions of Android. Here now in 2021, with Android 10/11 as the current o/s a lot of functions are features no longer work. Shortly after Android 7 (Nougat) is when I began noticing functions not working. It doesn't even launch apps anymore, though we can still add them to the widget.

very useful app with lots of features and customization. There's room for improvement though as it has a few minor bugs (I.e. cannot get the flashlight to toggle off after activating - galaxy note 8), would be better if you could apply more toggles than the 8 maximum and also it doesn't seem to be supported (qustions/problems raised aren't responded to at all). But it's free and not loaded with ads so can't really complain.

I like this app enough to get it on my new phone (LG Stylo 4) but it only gets 4 stars instead of 5 because the data button is basically a shortcut to the mobile data management in the settings. It doesn't actually toggle the mobile data on and off, as it did on my previous phone (Galaxy S4). An update that addresses this would be much appreciated! 😊

This app has always been a great addition to my Launcher and main page. Recently, I upgraded to Android 9. 0 on Samsung S9. The Flashlight no longer works and Battery does not update the charge % properly...unless you click on the button. UPDATE: The issue seemed to be allowing full system permissions in the app settings along with being in Power Saving mode. I'm guessing running without background apps wasn't allowing Power Toggles to function properly.

Works pretty good but not perfect. I found on my Android Pie Lenovo P10 tablet (not sure if device and OS version specific) that the second notification row of icons will not work if you don't have at least something on a desktop widget. When I removed my desktop widget and rebooted, the 2nd notification row stopped showing up until I went into Power Toggles and edited the 2nd notification row and hit "Done". Apparently with no desktop widgets on, the app as a whole appears to not fire up.

Nice, easily modified, but does have some glitches, like the data button does not come on/off when the data is turned on/off... UPDATE FIX: USE THE SYNC NOW ICON TO UPDATE ON/OFF. Plus, limited to 8 switches, but that is not a concern. Also, poor customer service, ie, no response.

I keep a standard set of controls across multiple phones using Power Toggles. Don't wear out your power button locking your screen all the time , just drop a lock screen button and lock it with a touch, direct dial buttons ,flashlight , custom look and design. Backup settings to a local file and save that to recreate your Power Toggles on other devices . Been using it since my S4 and every phone since. Sorry I waited so long to give it some praise.

This Apple's great on my last android but no longer works on the S10. You can toggle off Wi-Fi but can't toggle it back On. The flashlight doesn't work and neither does the Bluetooth or wifi button. Can use those once, then can't turn back on or off. Like it is frozen. Delete, start over, works once again. Brightness and timeout works fine

Update: it works now after I clear all data and begin again. ___ Used this for years for bluetooth hotspot only. Lately the Bluetooth Tether button only open up the WIFI hotspot menu and does nothing. Have to go into android settings to activate Bluetooth hotspot manually. Pls fix it. Also, searching for "Power Toggles" does not return this app in the result, but shows other apps with other names. Play store is not fair to you! Have to go into My Apps to find reference to this app for reinstall.

I've had this widget for a several years, and am just now getting around to reviewing it. The best toggle and most customizable widget I've seen yet. It's been on ly last 4 phones and I've gotten so spoiled how handy it is. You can usually fix toggles that quit working after an update by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I've used this for years and I am still surprised by some feature that makes by life easier. From accessing frequently used Toggles, Apps, Folder Organization via Folder Organizer, and Tasker control. I depend on this app. I have tried others and none compare to the functionality of Power Toggles. It is one of those apps I would gladly pay for and it is free!

In Android 11, Airplane Mode used to take you to the setting - toggling it "off" automatically turned off both Wi-fi and Bluetooth. In Android 12, these PT icons continues to display as "on" and tapping them no longer works!

Currently bugged out on the Note 20 ultra, the haptic settings pretty much don't work at all so I've been getting no feedback from any key presses compared to my note 8 which has no issues, other than that this app is actually great, been using it a while and will probably continue

Possibly a unneeded app, depending on your phones preinstalled apps but I still prefer this one over any same-type app provided by the phone manufacturer. It's configurable and useful - which is all that's needed to keep me happy.

I've been using this widget for years on different phones and different launchers. It is a simple but elegant look that betrays the number of customization options inside.

One of best Android apps ever created. Allows you to place custom shortcuts in notification bar, among many other things. It stopped being update years ago, but can still be sideload onto new phones.

Works great. Easy to use. Lots of features. The only problem, is the wifi toggle feature stopped working after Samsung updated my phone. The rest still works great.

I am enjoying this apk build. I think that it is thoughtfully encoded. I find that it has added convenience and that it has helped me to use my phone more efficiently. It has i think saved me precious time.

Handy notification tool, easily accessible in the pull down menu. One star subtracted because the second row is no longer visible except by awkward two finger spreading.

a great widget app that enable customization. but some of the widget toggles/ shortcuts appear to be wrong, such as NFC, hotspot and airplane mode. i m using Android 9.

Was an excellent app when I use it years ago. Now it crashes when I tried to add USB tethering on menu, on Android 8.1. 🙁 Not suprising, app is not updated since 2015. 🙁

I have used this app for some time and love the quick access. I upgraded my phone to Pie, and now the Sound toggle will enable Do Not Disturb rather than cycling through sound/vibrate/mute. Anyone with any ideas?

Love this app, even though it hasn't been updated since 2015! Most of it still works on Android 12 and looks great!

Was a 5* rating, now after an update to android 12 on my oneplus 9, every ten seconds or so, it would cause my device to vibrate, as if I received a message. Had to Uninstall it

This app gives me features that AT&T removed from the phone before they sold it to me, such as,.. a data toggle.. Plus it works from the lock screen.

totally excellent and customisable app. insignificant doesn't seem to work on android 9 (pie). Would be great if it did!

The best notification toggles app out there, I'm using it to switch between apps quickly and it's working perfectly.

Love the compact bars you can create. It's a great way to cram more into your home screen.

Used to be the best, but abandoned now, and the online themes library is sadly long gone, so only the single built-in theme is available today.

Why doesn't this app work on Android 9 Apple Pie?🥧I downloaded this app specifically for the immersive feature that hides the navigation soft keys and status bar. What's the deal! Please fix it!
