As the independent Distribution System Operator (DSO), operating under licence from the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) in the Republic of Ireland, we are responsible for: • Constructing all the sub-transmission, medium and low voltage electricity network infrastructure in the country • Managing the national electricity network infrastructure (which is owned by ESB) The electricity distribution network includes all distribution stations, overhead electricity lines, poles and underground cables used to bring power to more than 2 million domestic, commercial and industrial customers connected to the electricity network nationwide. Through our role as the Transmission Asset Owner (TAO), we manage the transmission assets owned by ESB and ensure that its infrastructure is developed and maintained as required by the Transmission System Operator, Eirgrid. The TAO function is an integral part of our organisation.Our role as the country's Meter Operator means that we are responsible for installing, maintaining and reading all electricity meters for domestic, commercial and industrial customers nationwide.

Generally a very good app to use. Unfortunately this app is built an an older version of Android so will no longer work as it can't connect to the server. If your phone has been updated with a newer version of Android this no longer works.
Works really well, I've had it on my phone for 2 years now and found the map and the estimated time for repair accurate. Much more useful than asking a neighbour if their power is off as well or trying to get through on a busy phone line. Well done ESB
Don't waste the storage space on your phone. This app hasn't been updated in God knows how long and and as such, will not work. Head straight to the ESB website if you're looking information on nearby power outages.
meh. no way to report a fault, still have to dial a number and enter the mprn which ofcourse is never at hand. having app save mprn and being able to report a fault with one click is a must.
it is the most useless app that I have tried - example - having no power for 24 hours - you would imagine that the app would first of all let you know where it is - secondly - when it might be resolved - but no - the app doesn't let you know unless you live in Enniscorthy - the rest of Wexford doesn't seem to exist - no power means no Broadband so the app won't work - ask yourself why the app only gets 3.5 as a score
Serves no purpose so far as I can see. If there is a power outage in my area, turning on/off the lights is a good indicator of power supply. I have Never had the experience of just my house losing power on its own, always as part of a scheme/estate/area.
After having a major fault in my area last night lasting about an hour and a half(could have been longer)couldn't get any news about it online so I decided to finally install this app from my wishlist and got the info I just wanted to know,straight away.
Never works when you need it. No point in having the information when you can't access it. App hangs if there's any more than two outages.
Dated app, not well maintained, complains about "being built for older android versions" on Android 9 (which is current). Planned outages are not updated consistently by ESB. This is as pointless as a waste of tax money goes.
absolutely horrendous to use. hasnt been updated since 2017. Totally behind technology. disgraceful for a national energy provider to promote this for costumers when it doesent work properly as a form of information!
The app is a little dated but shows a useful info on the power outage in my area and its estimated restoration time.
When I open I'm told that the app was developed for an older version of android, there is no update available. As a result I find the app useless.
To use this app, you need WiFi. To have WiFi, you need power. If you're on this app, it's because YOU DON'T HAVE POWER!😂 Besides that, it's good.
After using this a few more times I have to say it does work well and the ESB in fairness do fix faults exceptional quick most of the time.
Cannot use the app as the software does not support newer android phones and there's no software update as yet. 20/8/2020. 👎🏻

Worked up until last update now its just useless can't open the map or anything.
Just installed this on my new samsung a90 5g and it keeps saying to update app as it's only designed for older models of android..can you update it please
If I could give it zero stars j would. Checking for outage in drumshanbo - power gone over 2 hours and can find Nothing on the site????? Cant even submit review!!! Freeze or frozen out ?? How to submit ???
Absolutely pointless app. I know the power is gone in my area, what I need to get even a rough idea about is when it will return and this rubbish app does not tell me tell me that.
Great app. Huge credit to ESB Networks. Gave ALL the local information required and promised night of Storm Brendan Jan 2020. Refreshing in a country with appallingly low standards in such matters almost always. Fair play again to ESB Networks
Does not work on android 9+ not been updated to work on newer android versions. Pure flaps

Get a message when opening the app telling me to check for updates as this is for older versions of android, clicked the button to check and it brings me to the app page that's already installed, and there's no update, think they last updated it in 2017, and there doesn't seem to be a new updated app in the store when I search. Anyway the apps broken so no point in getting it, as it will just keep giving you a pop up saying there was an error connecting to server, or something similar.
