Very hard to establish a connection due to the app randomly search for a device when it wants to, maybe having under Bluetooth a dedicated option to force the app to initiate a search and also remember the device thats connected so one doesn't have to research and connect every time one moves away from the truck if it can be automated that would be even better, as an OTR driver I want to use the app for the convince but I ain't got the time to be playing with it waiting for it to work PLZ fix.

Simple UI, could use an upgrade. Couldn't get Bluetooth to work at first but found a setting in my phone settings under developer options called "enable Bluetooth antanae diversity".. after checking that it worked. May have to manually pair with the inverter manually first tho

I have had no issues with this unit or the app. I installed this in my semi (Walmart Peterbuilt) in 2016 and used it for 4 years before I retired. I have the 1500w model and used it with my Nexus 6p and now with my Google Pixel 4a 5G with no issues. If I needed another one for whatever reason, I would definitely purchase the same item. It's a great product.

Extremely simple and low resolution user interface, but seems functional. Note that I had to manually pair my phone (GS21U) via Bluetooth settings before it showed up in the app.

I downloaded the app, and the Bluetooth won't pair to the device right out of the box. I did some trouble shooting still nothing.. seen many others having same problem so it must be the app... this app is trash

This used to be a good app but lately it's garbage. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times trying to get the unit turned on via my phone or tablet. The Bluetooth feature won't even pair with my tablet or phone anymore. As an over the road truck driver it's nice to be able to see the condition of my batteries or charging system easily but this app is totally worthless now. I'm no longer able to see the battery charge or see how the charging system is doing, or turn on or off remotely.

I download the app on my Note 10+ android phone; it Works perfect for me. In my first attempt it felled to connect; though, swiching off and on back my bluetooth able me to see my power drive 3000W device on my available device connection list, then I just followed the instructions on the guide book. It's really awesome app to use. Once you connected it will let you switch on and of the device, test your battery and alternator by using the app on your phone. It has also some setting futures.

Basic, but useful. A test mode for static (non-vehicular) installations would be a welcome improvement.

Great inverter, mostly good app except that it disconnects regularly via the app but phone stays paired. Problem is that every time the app disconnects (which it does every time it's left idle) it turns off the warning alarms and self showdown features so you basically have to constantly go back in and reset the alarms and self shutdown every time you reconnect the app instead of it saving your settings for every use once the feature is activated until it's either deactivated or changed by user

The bluetooth. It will not connect in the app however , I went into my settings on my phone under bluetooth and paired it there first. Then I went into the PowerDrive app and pushed connect. Tapped the device that was there and it connected to my phone. I have had this for about 4yrs the only issue had was 2 plugs quit working. I turned it off. Unplugged everything, air sprayed all vents , fans , plugs. Then turned it on , gave it a few minutes , test each plug. BT and all 4 plugs work now.

I downloaded the app. My phone would connect via Bluetooth to the inverter. But wouldn't connect to the app. This is pointless. I'm hoping to have better luck with the actual Inverter than the app. I usually buy all the stuff for my truck off of Amazon or online but my last inverter went out while on the road Wednesday night. So I got this in a pinch.

The app is not plug and play friendly but takes some effort on the user to read and follow instructions. to connect you need to use the pin that came with the inverter mine was on a sticker on the the unit. also you need to give app permission as well as unpair all other Bluetooth devices to be seen by app strangely. Android phone 9 note - inverter 1000W pure shine. hope this helps.

Connection to app is misunderstood but app itself is generic. You must pair phone to device first, only then will the app connect. Other than that the only useful info is voltage remaining and remote on/off switch. Nothing else is useful. No wattage, number readout for temp or device wattage readings. Those having trouble connecting to the app are doing it wrong. Pair directly to your phone first and enter 8888 when asked. Then you can connect in app by clicking device and disconnect doing again

I had this connected on my old phone app will not connect to inverter. It says inverter not ready??? Tried everything....

Ive tried 20 different times trying to connect Bluetooth to my powerdrive 3000. I have a Google Pixel phone and it will not let me connect. After trying connect through powerdrive app itself, through searching in my Bluetooth and adding the powerdrive at least 20 times. Im still not connected and very discusted that I can not connect this. I am an over the road driver and the feature of powering it off by my phone would have been so helpful incase I had forgotten to manually power it down.

Poor management GUI, does not maintain settings unless app is open. Once set they only work if the app is connected. Once disconnected the settings return to factory. Pretty crappy. Inverter works like a champ though. Overall satisfied with the inverter but the app is useless.

must go to settings then to apps pick power drive app, then go to permissions allow the permissions in order for this app to work. I had trouble at first but the app will connect to your inverter and it does exactly what it says it does. it works so those who says it doesn't didn't allow the permissions.

First time I tried it, didn't work. After looking at the actual inverter, noticed the sticker with the default pairing code, entered it and changed it as suggested and badda boom, badda bang it worked. Also I have a Galaxy S7.

Update: app is working much better. This app used to work great. But there have been no new updates, and I have s feeling that is the reason why it will no longer connect to my inverter. Seeing how my inverter is under my sleeper bunk, this is a HUGE problem. Please update/fix this issue. Would hate to leave a bad review on the inverter because the company tasked with three bluetooth operation failed at their job.

This app is totally worthless for what I need it for!! I need it to be able to turn off (if I forget) the inverter from home and turn it on from home before I get to my truck so the fridge can be cold by the time I get there. That is what would be helpful to me, otherwise the app is totally useless and serves no purpose. I uninstalled it 3 days later after finding out it disconnects as soon as you walk away from the inverter (the truck).

Absolutely horrible app. Says connected shortly after opening but really isn't connected at all. Will not connect to paired inverter presumably because it thinks its connected to something else. Extremely frustrating piece of software.

Not worth the time or effort.. I have tried everything I can think of.. even unpaired all other devices from phone (which now I have to go through the hassles of repairing) and still the app does not see the inverter.. wish I hadn't even tried.. would give 0 stars if that was possible

The app needs work... The app is not the issue here...ive been through 4 of these inverters 3000 and every one has had an issue. These truck stops act like they dont want to exchange their own product. One of them I returned had a faulty plug on it, and the new one I got had someone's name on it as a return...for someone who spends minimum 4000 a week, i expect pilot and flying j to do better...
