It did work OK then Android updated and it no longer connects and the app crashes when you enter details manually. I will now have to dig out an old phone and see if it works on that. I suppose it serves me right for buying lidl tat.
App works fine when I bought camera. Now after some time not used won't even connect with device. WiFi is connected but won't transfer any images and freezing while restarting WiFi connection in app
Completely rubish! A piece of s___t! Second attemp to us itand disconnect itself from phone after less that a minute with brand new Duracell Ultra!!! Ans with an android phone that is old enough to be able to connect! Sony xperia z1, no updates ever done for it!
I needed to disable 4g/mobile data. Otherwise it wouldn't work, when i was using it on my phone. Maybe the other guys, who could not make it work also should try that.
This is a quite simple app but works really well with my inspection camera & is really easy to set-up. I can't fault it at all so gets 5* from me
App. Works as its intended. Do not expect super high quality but for minor home/garage/small business purposes its absolutely enough. My rating 4/5*
Battle to coonect to app,device wifi connection is quixk and easy but app constantly jams and says no connection

Not working on Nexus 5X, Android 8.1.0. Phone is connected to the device, but no image is showing up. Opening settings shows the SSID / Password fields empty, I tried to enter "PEKW 8" and "88888888", tapping Ok shows up a message, that changes were made, than the app freezes. (I also tried on Nexus 5, Android 6.0.1, and it worked out of the box).
doesnt work on android 6.0.1. hangs at: set up successfully, the network will be disconnected, please wait 1 minute after re-connect wifi. not sure what that even means. app is not saving ssid or password, and who puts spaces in the ssid!!!. I'm bringing back to lidl tomorrow for refund. DO NOT BUY.
Took a few go's to enter the SSID and password but seems to be working fine with my Lidl scope now
Have just purchased and set up. All good so far. Sony Xperia Z1 Android 5.1.1 Has a 1m gooseneck , zoom via app, image rotate, 4 LED lights, takes photos and video that are transferable to your PC and all for £40!

Had it working once. But can no longer make camera connect to phone despite WiFi connection working. Shouldn't be this hard to make it connect.
Not working on Android 8.0
I have found that if it won't connect the reinstall the app and reset the camera works to get it connected. Found this to be invaluable and much clearer picture than others I have used. All these Wifi cameras tend to be problematic from time to time but are a must have unless you've got a tablet usb one.
