The user interface leaves a lot to be desired. Trying to choose your car, here are tiny scroll wheel of vehicle choices, have fun lining them up properly instead of us using standard drop downs. Own a Tesla enjoy scrolling through dozens of model choices slowly. Want to know the price of a station before you go by using the map, sorry doesn't seem to be capable of that. Also manages to constantly lose connection even when I'm sitting at home on my wifi where I can stream 4k movies...

Unusable interface. To even get past first page, asks questions that avg user doesn't know like battery size and charging rate in amps. I didn't want to guess, so I gave up.

Lacks basic functionality. The map, which has been in the app for over a year still does not tell you the price and what type of stations a location services. On top of this it also does not account for faulted chargers, amongst other things. Finding useful information with this app prior to a site visit is a crapshoot, and I end up using plugshare to find out instead. App is good for enabling PF chargers and giving them your data. Note: most PF chargers are L2, so expect to sit a while.

Let me preface this by saying that I love the service that is being provided and I'm grateful to the Powerflex team for their efforts. But with that out of the way, the UX of this app is counterintuitive and not user friendly at all. The app asks how many miles you want? Full charge is a checkbox option? It should be the default. Prepay with credit card? Should just bill at the end. App frequently disconnects and notifications don't work either. As a designer, I know this can be done better.

The app is hellishly buggy right now. I've used it in the past just fine (most recently about a month ago), but some recent update must have borked it for Android. When I try to load the app, it spins forever without ever loading. I reset the app (clearing all of my storage) and it finally loaded, but as soon as I entered the QR code, closed the app, and tried to later re-open it, we're back to spinning. Once I saw an error of "poor internet connection" but that's just false. I did a speedtest from my phone with 12ms ping and 730Mbps down. I've been unable to charge my car because the app is just broken. PLEASE FIX.

App is basically a browser wrapper. Sign up process was easy, but could have been better if could just sign up with google. Google Pay and PayPal payment integration does not work (I use firefox as default browser on my phone... maybe that's the issue). First attempt to charge failed, second one succeeded. App has several bugs, they have not done sufficient testing.

Clunky app that feels so so. There needs to be a better way than having to download an app of each company's to just interact with a station. I don't expect them to be hit with credit card fees each time I want to pay with chip or NFC. Meaning visa/mc/ae/discovery need to back off of small transactions. Literally it would free up apps and small businesses

App and connected charging work! But use model is cumbersome resulting in I assume everyone just setting it to maximum charge time / milage. (E.g.it asks for time and required miles for each charge) Also, there seems no way to show your past changes (eg how much did I charge last time, last month..., How much did I pay) Seems some simple things could improve user experience tremendously,.but at least it's working for me.

Only using the app because I have to. They offer three payment options but neither the PayPal or Google Pay ones work. I don't know that I can trust my credit card to a company that can't implement such simple functionality. My company pays for X kWh/day at our chargers so I set it to only charge my car to that amount. Somehow the app went over that and now I am stuck owing $.01 and can't charge again.

You have to "program" the app to what charge you want. This type of micromanagement is cool, but i would want an auto profile to my car so i can input bounds later

The app works fairly well so far. My two charging option locations are near my office - one is uncovered parking (GREAT reception); the other parking space is covered 1st floor of 5 floor concrete parking garage - so I have to initiate the session, walk towards opening to get reception - but the APP lets me know this, so that is good! Today, i got pop-up: Important Play Store Update - there is a new app version available. Please download our update before your next charging session...(with button to go to Play Store - but it does not update. I am on version 2.5.135. the Play Store shows version 2.5.83. So, is there a newer version? if so, why can't I seem to download it? Functionally, this app works for me so far!

There is absolutely no reason why I should have to put in $10+ in order to do a $4 charging session when I already have over $20 in the account. Also $10 should not be the minimum that someone can put in when $5 is enough to get almost any ev to 80%

Worked okay for a few months. The app started giving me a variety of errors. I sent an email from the help section of the app. Crickets. No response.

Completely nonfunctional. Please update your entire system to be able to pay with credit cards, as your app simply does not work. Have not been able to start any of your chargers, and I'm an engineer.

Functional. It works. Shows the projected power delivery over time. App is quite rough around the edges though.

This app used to work fine. No longer. It hangs launching, hangs when attempting to log on, hangs when attempting to reset password (doesn't send recovery email).

Gab. T. Feb 15, 2022

Cannot start charging session. Just says "authentication failed" and the station has no QR code to scan.

Ale. P. Jan 16, 2022

App says poor internet, so I cannot authorize a session. There are 3 bars on my LTE connection. Useless.

A. G. u. Jan 22, 2019

off-line feature doesn't work at all. If you can't get online, you can't charge and you are stranded. Capturing the code until you get online doesn't work.

The app is not working since 5 days ? whats going on? it's been on charging and if i press stop or reboot my phone still stuck there ? i made new registration and i can't add funds ? no one to fix this since more than 5 days?????

A. G. u. Mar 19, 2019

Don't like that the app requires pre-load of funds to the account before you can charge your ev. Also, the feature to give feedback within the app doesn't work.

Hen. L. Mar 16, 2021

Doesn't even have the up-to-date vehicle database. I don't want to have to fill this stuff in. Updated review, to 5 stars following their update and subsequent outreach.

Tho. R. Aug 22, 2021

Didn't recognize qr or text code from charger, could not change car. Can't scan qr code in parking garage due to there being no cell service underground. Dumb

Jes. R. May 19, 2022

It sucks. Please update this app.

Oky. L. Oct 7, 2021

Works good when i pick up my kid from school. I get to charge while waiting. Also keep in mind this is prepaid.

A. G. u. Dec 3, 2019

Not really easy to use at the beginning, but I have finally figured out what to do.
