PowerPRO - Battery Saver

My work requires me to be on my phone constantly 10-12 hours straight, mostly in areas where I do not have easy access to charge my phone. DFNDR BATTERY enables me to close apps that are running in the background and draining my battery, enabling me to use my phone throughout the day without having to charge it. I would recommend this app for anyone who depends on their phone lasting for extended periods of time.

I really enjoy the filter feature, it's unique in battery savers and haven't seen it in any other, I believe it does help with saving battery too! The only problem with the filter is that it creates a bug that causes the phone to think there is multiple touch feedback, I tried this with and without the filters for google, and so far it works for high and extreme economy filter. When I use those filters on Google, it will bug out thinking I'm touching it with multiple fingers.

This has the potential of being a great suite however, the enormous irritating ads and having to purchase every section is way too much. It would be so much better to sell as full suite instead of the nickel and dimming of each section of security. Uninstalling because way too many ads. Other apps are sold as suit and gives some protections. Simplicity is nice.

Very annoying, it opens all the apps on your phone and then closes them, one by one, and it closes them twice once on 2 different screens. Mind you, I have around 300 apps on my phone and sdcard. It took me quite some time to go through this process. If you give it a permission to appear over your locked screen then you are screwed, since during the app-closing process it freezes up and you are unable to close the app and actually see your phone screen. I'm gonna avoid this app like the plague.

Loud, screen-covering ads, program almost completely unusable. I understand the idea of advertising as a way to fund development, but these ads are extremely loud, I can't navigate away (i.e. refresh the screen for a different, quieter ad) or indicate that I'm not interested in the product shown. I've uninstalled the program and will not reinstall until this problem is resolved.

Video ads inside an app that is supposed to be saving battery power. Very moronic idea. Optimization is so slow the screen goes to sleep. Optimization is interrupted every time the screen gose into sleep. Video not significant battery drain?😄. I'm on a cellphone. It takes power to the network circut to download, powere to storage, power to the screen, power to the speakers . Not much drains my phone faster than video. Never mind I'll try something else

Nope. Upon "saving the battery", it started force-stopping all of the apps on my device, but this damages the battery even more. Also, I couldn't stop it, so it caused some apps to misbehave and log me out. I tried many, many battery savers over the last years, but this one is THE WORST so far.😣 However, the UI is great, I'll give you that.

It's a great app and my phone is faster because of it and the previous bug was fixed, but now there's a new problem. The Super Optimization doesn't go all the way through, if there are 25 apps that are getting closed 17 of the apps are closed leaving the other 8 apps still open. But the problem was fixed when I used dfndr performance. So I recommend installing the dfndr series(all dfndr products) to get the best results.

Great app! Very similar to Avira Optimizer which is being discontinued. Like the other app, dfndr has battery profiles and background optimization. Not to mention it's completely free no premium features. Awesome! You can also blacklist apps to prevent them from being closed, which I forgot existed lol. Still it's a very good battery saver I would highly recommend.

I had the same issue as another commenter on here. As soon as I installed, granted a few permissions and activated the filter my phone started flashing like crazy, all my apps opening, messages, ect, all in a endless loop. To even shut my phone down I had to hold the power button and mash the area were the power off button would pop up because it kept closing even that. I am not sure what the heck that was and have never felt the need to leave a comment on a app before this but that was bad.

This app does more harm to your phone & battery than good.The pixel reducer may save power, but it makes images unwatchable. The optimizing of the phone by closing apps is a joke. You can run the optimizer 5 times in a row & it will reopen and close the same apps each time. It will take the brightness level hostage by decreasing it whenever the app wants to. Overall the functionality of my phone deteriorated with this app installed, but returned to normal after I uninstalled it.

So far it's absolutly keeping my phone alive and actually gave me all the good, yet easy to decide questions to optimize at the fullest there are some ads but not at all in your face annoying. I've only seen 1 ad fro chime bank it is just there on the page and doesn't cover content so no big deal. Ive tried to apply for it but it will not send me to the link its basically just used up screen space to look at this app is awesome! No nonstop popup ads are not in your face phone is happy!

I love this app (After changing it to "dfndr batttery") (Nice name), but all in all works great for helping me charge my chromebook (Edit: i love the app, can't complain about the dashboard, but... why so many ads? that makes it take up more power, also, not y'alls fault but my dang chromebook will NOT allow me to allow the stuff needed for FULL optimization) (I still really, really love the app, nothing will change that)

Does nothing to improve battery charging. Used data, wasted more battery and wanted access to overwrite system settings etc. Sketchy app for sure. Zero stars would be more accurate.

The toolbar shortcut opens upon closing the app, and remains present even when disabled, which doesn't matter because it enables itself. Clicking the super optimization button turns off filters for a second or two while the pop up requesting access is up, as does closing the app. Edit: I'm sorry? Your Internal area?

I have 256 apps on my phone and had no idea so many of them were running in the background. This app stops them and cools down your battery at the same time. My phone now charges 3 to 4 times faster. Love this app. 10+✨

Saves battery and turns off extra apps that are running.. (why do they run even if only downloaded and not installed or set up... Not even opened.??.. irregardless and then put them to sleep if they come back. Yes

This app is the very best battery saver app I have ever used. I have many! This one has kept an old Vodafone Smart Tab N8 with a worn battery that has not been able to give power for longer 30 to 45 minutes Mac going for a few hours and counting. Well done excellent work. I would recommend this to any and everybody.

almost completely took over my phone. it started opening apps by it self, trying to make phone calls, doing all kinds of weird things. like someone had hacked my phone and was controlling the screen. took a few tries before I could even work it long enough to delete the app. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

I have no clue why this is rated so high. It's horrible! Every time I turn on my phone there are always ads coming up and during my calls or when I'm checking my emails. The ads interrupts my calls and when checking my emails. It is very disruptive and annoying. I've only had this app for six days. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP. IT IS YOU, NO ADS APPEARED DURING MY CALLS OR WHEN I CHECKED MY EMAILS OR AFTER I TURNED MY PHONE OFF AND ON. SO STOP DECEIVING!

After all this checking and checking, my note 10+ kept backing out of my apps while typing and opening my screen would keep closing or backing out of screens the last app i thought would do it. It was THIS!!!! FRUSTRATED ALMOST TOO THE POINT OF RESETTING MY PHONE.. THIS ONE DID IT!!! After years of using this and paying for their security.. I WILL BE CANCELING ALL OF THEIR APPS!! HARD RESETING a phone is damn near like LOSING A WALLET PEOPLE!!!

I give it a 4 star, simply because the notifications get very annoying. My main problem is how the notification is displayed. It gets in the way. And if I accidentally click it, it starts closing apps that I am using. Other than that, I like the app quite a bit

This uses more battery then anything! Theres always a "catch" with some apps. Like ygia one, you download the app to save battery life and YET, the options come up to "download another app to get even MORE battery life"! Whatever! If you are going to download an app to save battery make sure the developer has everything all in one, not the stupid little game playing of "Download MORE of something that should have already been in the app you downloaded! UNINSTALLED!

Did not seem to provide any sort of change to the system. Just closes apps. Samsung S10 is running EXTREMELY HOT with this app after using for 10-15 minutes. Never did that before. Also noted that 10-15 minutes of normal usage uses 20% of the battery while this app was used to "optimize". This is junk-ware.

Full Suite of Features. The app is unobtrusive and does exactly what it claims. Completely free with minimal advertising. Still, I wish there were an option to buy up and out of ad-supported advertising.
