Lost a star because it would freeze often. We used my daughter's phone for map to get us from place to place and my phone for the commentary. Worked great that way. For a free app, 100% worth the $$
We used it for chichen itza and thought it was brilliant, gave us a path to follow with great info at each site. Our experience would not have been the same without it! We downloaded it to use offline and worked perfectly, even had a lovely quote to finish our tour "travelling is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer". Will definitely use again and hope they add more sites!
Excellent application. I have just used it for Rome and it worked perfectly. I would add just a few more fixes: less use of battery somehow as it is a huge battery drain, a small warning when it starts to tell you about a certain attraction as it just starts when you don't expect it. I would recommend it and I will certainly use it on my next trip.
Just finished walking the NYC West Village route, and it was bad. Audio directions are mostly non-existent (NONE of the actual POIs directed me what to do next) or terrible (walk towards X, when i may not know where X is). No way to make it without looking at the map. Map itself is buggy, zoom level and rotation resets often, map often refuses to manually rotate, compass arrow point the wrong way after rotating). Hard to understand what POIs refer to. Not enough POIs. Just... underwhelming :(
I recently used the SmartGuide App to explore Madrid. Awesome experience.
We just finished a trip to Quebec City using this app. By following the route recommended by this app, we visited the old Quebec City. This app is terrific! It shows the details of important sites along the route by both audios and texts automatically, as soon as you get there. I highly recommend this to everyone.
This app guide is really helpfull and making my travel experience better. The map makes it easier for me to go to the right places and the audio guide is really informative. And the offline feature is most helpfull so I don't have to search for Wifi everytime.
This app helps to plan what to see in a city. But it does not give information regarding local transportation like which bus or tram to take. It would be a great help if this app can take the spots one wants to visit then suggest an itinerary showing local transport to take to move to next spot.
Hi guys, Love the idea of the app! I've been living in Prague for more than 4 years now and the app still is able to show me places I didn't visit yet, so nice to get the chance to discover more :) Would love to be able to use my local GPS app or Google maps for the tours. Keep up the good work!
Exceptional app. I am in Berlin now and I can say that without SmartGuide my trip wouldnt be this good. It's not just a simple guide! It showed where I can book a bus to do some sightseeing, besides the app on its own showing me Berlin and history. I am so happy I downloaded the app.
This app was worth the $ spent to have the premium version. I really enjoyed it when the audio would kick in as I walked close to a site. I used it in Boston and I saw most of the sites on The Freedom Trail without dealing with a guide that might be hard to hear or large crowds.
Amazing app! This was a life saver for a spontaneous trip planned to Prague qnd further into the east. Look forward to exploring cities on my own time while still benefitting from high quality audioguides and augmented reality highly recommend!!!😁
Excellent. Do try it The Florence app works perfectly offline and the content is excellent. The Venice app offline operation is dodgy and needs attention. Once it drops out, it's impossible to get back into the app. The content is very good
Tried using it in Prague, just gave up as it was too slow... Was on hotel wifi - this might have affected it. Or it might have been temporary issue - works much better now.

For now I shall raise the review by 2 stars until I have had more time to use the App. To the developers, I will say thank you for the 1-year premium. The transition is a big change, however I am now willing to give it a chance. As said above, I travel a lot and as I do so, I will adjust my review 'stars' accordingly and leave feedback via the app.
Absolutely a master piece. A must have app, a great great great app that blowed my mind. Beautiful and very useful. Absolutely in love with it. Please guys, add as many cities as you can and ask us money for it - after a 1 month try maybe. As I user I would love you to keep developing this amazing app.
Loved the UI, makes traveling really convenient! It also shows the expected time of the tour which makes it much easier to plan the trip.

We used this guide in Chichen Itza and it worked perfectly. It told us where to go and gave good explanations, we were able to skip hiring a guide and go at our own pace. I recommend if you are with kids (as we were) because they liked managing the app and the gps.
I love the app. I use it regularly. It's worth spending few $ for the premium. It's cool I don't have to search for local guides and walk in groups (or google everything). There is all within the app.
I just love this app... As a full-time solo traveller I 24/7 keep travelling to new cities.. It's been a long time I'm using this app to plan my trips... I recommend this to everyone who loves to travel... This super easy to use... Thanks for creating this app... It is so useful.
Our Go to guide app. We've used this app extensively in the past and will use it again next year on our trip to Italy. Not only are the walks interesting, but having it alert you to an unknown site as you wander is wonderful.
App does not work as promised. I tried to download the offline map and it said I needed to upgrade. so, i paid the $4.99 and it didn't work. was not able to use it on our trip. would like a refund.
The app is good and has a lot of potential, however, it needs way more optimization in terms of the resources it uses. It drives the battery to zero within a few hours. As a result 1. You can't even finish your tour, 2. You're hesitating to take pics and videos, 3. You're jeopardizing running out of battery in a foreign country and having limited ways of calling someone or checking a map in case of need/emergency. It needs a lot of work to improve that.
