Have been using the app irregularly for a few weeks now and have found it to be very good. Easy to use. Well organised. Has the features I need without being cluttered or overdone. I haven't been through all the training routines yet but have had good results from those I do use. I'd definitely recommend giving this app a try. Great work by the people who have produced it.

This is a really cool app! The variety of breathing patterns is great. I did opt to get the guru version to get more breathing patterns. Very simple design. I know what to be doing cuz there is an icon at the top left to indicate breathing in, when to hold, and how to exhale (nose, mouth, or with "ha" sound, for example). They also have very helpful links to wiki pages explaining the uses of the breathing patterns. Highly recommend!

I've had this app for years and still use it almost everyday. Great app over all, so great in fact that I purchased the guru! I would like the ability to add my own sound files (recorded voice, etc.) and have better volume controls. Also choosing different sounds for each part would be nice. You can "adjust" the tone but it would be better to have some different sounds. Very flexible and pretty intuitive. I use it every day.

This app takes the thinking out of your meditation and breath work. The chimes that signal where your breath should be at a particular time are soothing and means you don't have to think about it. There are so so many different breath work options to choose from. Settings are easy to change and I love that there's an explanation on each type so you can choose what best suits what your body needs each time. Thanks guys!

A little tricky to navigate the settings the first time it was used, which almost put me off. I tried again, learned how to turn off the annoying sounds and discovered a truly inspiring and useful app with excellent functionality. In 5 or 6 years of practice I've been looking for an app this useful and diverse. I feel very supported in deepening the practice and Inspired by all of the research backed patterns. I absolutely LOVE this app. This is the perfect app for breathing practice for musicians (I see you, brass peeps!), physical therapy, meditation, etc. It comes preloaded with a bunch of starter practices and there are TONS more available via the wiki. You can also create your own training session from scratch, and can customize every single aspect of it, down to each individual breath of you wish. Yes, it's a little overwhelming at first, but it's easy to understand and well worth the effort.

Amazing app that hardly feels like a commercial. The sounds, the background, the calm, everything has been amazingly designed. A great work indeed. It seems a bit user unfriendly because I'm always wondering where to search for different options, menu, edit, create new etc. That doesn't seem as intuitive as one might like. Perhaps the interface and symbols can be more intuitive. After some regular use I'm motivated to take the guru version. Great app. Definitely recommend.

best app i could find, it fulfills everything I was looking for. The guys really put much thought into it. you can have a nice background (in my case beach wave) sound for your intervals, you can choose the timing, a nice bell sound which indicates the switch from one interval to another (which is a nicr feature I did not thought about) and what is very important to me, you can adjust the volume of each element (background sound, turn sound and the ticking clock, which I personally don't use)

Because of its payment method, I couldn't have access to all of its programs (Iranian). But, by using the trial version and since I really needed such an application. I think The methods of breathing are not easy, not realistic (at least for me as a beginner), not editable. Also the design could be more friendly (using light and warm colors) . And the sounds could be more helpful (like to help you meditate). Thanks BTW.

This is the most versatile app I have seen for mindful breathing exercises. There's a great range of exercises available for download in addition to the ones included. The customization options are excellent (I'd love a ticking clock sound though) but they take some exploring to get the most out of them. I use this app numerous times a day and I love it.

Excellent app, it's simplistic while using yet has broad applications. First I love that it has NO ads! That in it'self just makes me want to purchase and support it. The design isn't anything fancy but it doesn't need to be. The download option for other breathing patterns is great! You have alot of options to customize your experience but not so much that it's paralyzing. I can't think of any improvements at this time... thanks for making this app and keep up the good work!

This is helping me manage anxiety and kick smoking. It also shows me how faithful or not I have been to the process. I find it a little hard to navigate sometimes. In particular, switching between programs is not intuitive. However, its usefulness outweighs that. Never before have I ever gotten anything this good for free.

Very pleased and impressed with this app! It offers many breathing methods for a variety of needs (eg, relax, anti-stress, harmony, clear mind, and more), and this is in the free version! Also, you can choose from a few sounds for background, transitions, metronome, etc. The "guru" version offers more topics, sounds and other features which I might purchase. But the free version is solid - and no ads! A first-class app for sure.

Used to be good, but somewhere along the line, one of the updates removed the ability to manually set your own breathing cycles, and removed ability to set the different sound effects for each stage. All previous data was lost. No further point in me keeping the app, so I uninstalled. Good for beginners, but not good for more advanced users.

The best pranayama app! I've used it every morning for the past year and have noticed it help with how I deal with tough situations and stress, plus tons of other benefits. The guru version is cheap and so worth it, there are so many breathing styles that it's so easy to find multiple styles that you like. Each style has it's own wiki page explaining the individual benefits and differences between other styles. You can even change the sounds that are played while breathing!

I like it. Guru version is very rich. Love the variety. Request: easier way to access Wiki for each exercise. I would love to be able to read what each breathing exercise is for within the app instead of going back and forth between the wiki document. It would also be cool if I could tag favourite exercises. Edit: 5 stars for responsive developer. I'll just have to learn what all the different exercises do.

I'd give this app 6 stars if I could. Best breathing app I've used so far. Interface is easy to navigate. A few unintuitive menus but otherwise a wonderful experience. Setting a custom breathing session is easy. The community has great pre-set methods, but the built-in sessions are great to start with. For mediation or breath training, this app is amazing. I've used it multiple times each day since I've downloaded it.

Would be great if text-to-speech was moved to general option settings so you don't have to change it for each breath training. Would also be great if you could rename the breathing technique names, or please add the breath pattern to the name (example: Relax 3-0-6-6) so you know at a glance what you are doing/selecting from the list of options (instead of having to manually go into each one to see those details). Excellent app - thank you!

After using the pro version for 50h+ hours, I can safely say that its best feature is the audio timer (with crescendo and fade) for each breathing phase (as it eliminates the need of looking at the screen while breathing). However, it has a MAJOR FLAW: it won't let you set up the time of each breathing phase individually with ms precision. It uses a system where you need to set up the period of a unit and then attribute units to each breathing phase (e.g: 11.2 sec inh, 12.7 exh is impossible)

The best breathing app out there. I would like to hear a little more unique tones maybe on the sections of the breathing meaning inhale, hold, exhale, hold. Except for the crescendo effect the music sound is too similar. The bell helps to tell when to switch though. I still have trouble negotiating the app menus for some reason. But I am new to it. Takes me many multiple clicks to figure out how to get to certain settings.

Amazing app! Been using for 6 months now and its incredible how much control you can get over your outer self with just simple breathing routines. The sound and the visuals make it easy to follow when to inhale/exhale and eventually you can do it automatically with closed eyes. With depression and anxiety I've tried many kinds of guided meditations and relaxation music. Even those that tell you how to breathe. However this simple app is by far the most effective. It helps me to relax and ease my mind even in the worst times of rumination. Watching the graphic that tells me how to breathe makes me concentrated enough and with ease to feel a difference. (Even though I got used to the circle :) Thank you

I like this app! Being able to customize my own breath work training is very handy on top of the preset training in the app. Easy to use πŸ‘ One tiny suggestion that would make this app awesome, for each ratio unit, there is 3s long sound and if ratio changes (goes up) , sounds stay on 3s. Either I haven't find the option for changing the length of the sound or the option is missing. Overall great free app!

Best breathing app . Love it. Would be great if more breathing methods can be added e.g. holotropic breathing, etc. Also instead of adding extra methods through wiki why not give us a option to add them through the app itself. Edit: I get it but there could be like a page from where we could add the exercises we want & remove the ones we don't want. As for the storage, I don't think the exercises will take up too much space for our moden devices with 64/128 gb of storage.
