Used this app to get a 100% on my written. There are areas to be improved like more flexible and rich progress keeping or highlighting questions for reviewing but I was able to supplement it with external notes.
I used this to pass my PGL in 2021 with a 90%. Lot of mixed reviews lately for some reason but my experience has been good. Now I'm using it to study for PPL and the questions seem very good.
Studied using this app for my PAR (private pilot license). There's about 800 questions and it prepares you extremely well for the exam. I was able to get a 95 using just this app as primary study source.
May 2020: The app is great but needs a big update. I studied & passed but scored much lower than expected. The Qs in the app didn't cover any of the new Qs. Incld the ACS stds when studying bcuz the FAA is aligning the written test with those stds. More new questions coming in June 2020!
I'm very unhappy with this purchase. I've completed the Private Pilot, Rotocraft numerous times as well as the Recreational Pilot, Rotocraft and more than half the questions relate to airplanes only. Is this functioning correctly?
Good for multiple choice and basic learning but all of the figure questions are horribly wrong. Ex. Aircraft departs at 0845 CST 2 hour flight to MST A. 1345Z B. 1445Z C. 1645Z How is the answer not 1545Z
Frequently crashes or loses your progress, with 160 question long tests it can be quite frustrating
Perfect for studdying. I found it very useful and accurate.
Useful for rotorcraft knowledge test prep, would be nice if there was an option to bookmark questions for future reference.

Doesn't work. Can't get a refund and customer service wouldn't help.
These prepware apps have worked great for my private and instrument helicopter written.
Do not waste your time and your money please,this app is trash trust me.
DO NOT BUY FOR ROTORCRAFT. Many of the test prep questions for rotorcraft are gyroplane and fixed wing. Waste of money for ROTORCRAFT students. Will not give you an accurate questionnaire for helicopter students. Waste of money.

Great Tool.
Becon light military airport become flashes white and green is AIM 2-1-10 and not AIM 2-1-9. THERE IS NO easy way to inform of a mistype.

Doesn't save progress; even if you select "save and exit," you have to start anew the next time.
This is the worst application I have encounterred. It's like Study Island, only worse. It frequently marks correct answers as incorrect, asks irrelevant questions (though the FAA may be responsible for that), has unhelpful explanations, no longer tells me whether my answers are right or wrong & lt costs money. Even for a free application, lt would be terrible. Payment is just the icing on the hair cake.
Lets start by saying having an app is a great tool to prepare for your written, any help is worth reaching for. That said, ASA is not known for being the top choice, HOWEVER, it was priced comfortably and the interface is clean. I would love to feedback in full but google won't let me type that much...
