Search function is pretty good but not excellent, some filters are missing and it is some way off the quality of the website itself. Hides and favourites don't work particularly well, they don't update correctly making scrolling through after viewing a listing more time consuming and "scrolly" than it should be. Adverts are not intrusive at all. "Play video" button in the corner of every image is incredibly distracting.
I'm afraid I find this app infuriating! I search and get s list of properties returned. So far so good. Then I look at further details of a particular house. Then I do a 'back'. I am then NOT returned to the same point in the list that I started from do you have to flick through the list again to find your place. I don't keep going very long! I'm afraid it's a rather basic programming error.
PLEASE FIX!! Great app.... However when searching for a property and you back out of the property information, it takes you back to the very start of the search results rather than where you left off. You could be 20 results in and having to scroll through all of them again to find the one you were on. It is infuriating when you're searching many properties. Please fix this and I'd be more than happy to give it a 5 star rating.
Having now had this app alongside alternatives (Rightmove and Zoopla) for coming on for 2 years I can say with some confidence that this is the worst. In fact, I rarely use it because it just doesn't deliver on the core functionality needed for somebody wanting to buy a house. I can't even search according to basic criteria such as number of bedrooms, garage/no garage, date added etc..
Absolutely terrible! Every time you view a property you lose your place in the list of search results and have to go back through loads - its just not at all user friendly. The only thing that this app does slightly better than right move is allowing key word search; but I'm not 100% sure it fully works!
When choosing a property from your search list, you look at it and then go back to the search list, the app takes you back to the very start of the search list and not back to where you got to, Very frustrating, I gave up and carried on using Rightmove as it has a much better user interface, remembers where you were and much less buggy..
The app doesn't update favourite properties in MyPrime anymore, nor it allows to log off. The only way to see the updated information is to clear all the data and log in from scratch each time. Also, it constantly scrolls up to the top of the page, which is quite annoying.
Updated 24/09/20: Much the same. Could be much better. Buggy app... It doesn't remember properties I want to hide. When I click on a property then exit out, it doesn't remember I was half way down the search results so I have to scroll EVERY TIME I want to look at a property. Makes me want to use a competitors app.
Love the app but every time I cluck to look at a property and then go back it takes me to the top of the page and not to the place I last clicked. Wastes a lot of my time. Otherwise amazing. Has lots more properties than other apps.
I find the app clunky, if I view a property then go back to the list it goes back to the beginning of the page and the filters aren't obvious so either end up looking at lots of properties outside of my criteria or have to press the back button and only sometimes I find the filter page the rest of the time it just backs me all the way out of my search grrrr
Aweful to navigate and use. Does not return you back to the position in your search list, after viewing a house. Search engine is poor compared to every other app.
ok but two main issues i find (1) floorplan of the properties never load (2) if you have a list of say 15 properties and you open number 10 on the list and you return to the search results, you are taken to the very top of the search list which is annoying. (3) it would be good if the search results also say the number of bedrooms and type of property and not until you open that property before you find out it's not the type you want especially when you know you'll be taken to the start again.
The app's search options should be remembered and there needs go be an eadier way to filter the search like evry other app. Also needs to say how many bedrooms on the listings page. When I come out of a property it also takes me back to the start and erases all my search criteria. Really frustrating app.
There is no way of emailing/WhatsApping properties on which is incredibly frustrating. Out of all the property searching apps this is by far the worst. OnTheMarket is so much better, thorough and user friendly!!
Not as good as Rightmove because it doesn't work properly. Doesn't go back to where you were in the listings (really annoying) and won't save any properties, even though I'm signed in!
A little bit annoying- you can't filter the types of properties you're looking for so have to scroll through dozens of properties which are of no interest to you. Not particularly user friendly unfortunately.
Very good so far. Just a bit inconvenient that after viewing a property's details from a list of favourites, the app returns to the top of the list page thereby requiring a scroll down to the next property.
Will not let me share properties. Trying to sign in but will not let me do so through my Facebook account, even though that is how I've signed in before. Every time I try to access it in the browser it sends me back to the mobile app which now says it cant connect to the internet even though I have wifi and 4g on and working with other apps. Very frustrating
Won't work every time I go to use it it just says that it's not working. Have u installed and reinstalled several times still rubbish, have noticed the app has not been updated since 2017. Pull your finger out get it sorted
Nearly impossible to use this app, will not save properties at all and every time you go back to search it goes to the top again. Not easy to navigate either.
usless. just asks where you are looking and then shows all the houses in that area. ALL of them. I dont want to scroll through houses that couse over £2 million to get to what i am lookong for. it might be easy to change the search parameters but i cant find it. pointless.
The app is broken, it keeps taking you back to properties for sale when you searching for rentals, its clunky and you cannot separate student houses as they do not remove incorrect listing. There are endless shared houses and student properties listed as 1 bed or studios and its an awful customer experience.
Good overall experience. Annoying immobile when you return via the back button that it doesnt take you back to where you were in the search results.
So far I've created an account and then had to sign in 4 times, and reenter my search parameters 3 times in the last 10 minutes. This app keeps signing me out and losing the information - its incredibly frustrating
Exactly the same as Zoopla and Rightmove, only Primelocation is far less convenient as you can't scroll through the photos from the main search results page unlike the other two. Also, when you click into a property to view more details and then go back to the list it takes you back to the very start and you have to scroll to find where you were at. This is the most basic feature that this app can't get right, let alone all the other issues it has.
