It was the best app ever. Very decent of you to provide automatic refund and 6 months free of apple music. I totally understand that it might be the best option for you as a start up. However, I would have loved if you continued as a stand-alone service. You had the potential to be a better version of Spotify when it comes to classical music. Very sad to see you go. Best of luck. Thanks for the beautiful musical experience ❤️

Edit: big problem. I can't make playlist or save items with this app? Major flaw there... Promising, but slow. I enjoy being able to easily filter between periods and such like. I think it'd be better if I could filter a period, then an instrument, for example. I also think playback seems rather slow. Spotify performs much better in this area. It creates a jarring experience when skipping around looking for new pieces. Finally, perhaps a little more space between piece listings? Feels a bit cramped. But hey, I look. Forward to the development. I'd pay a small fee as a student.

If your passion is classical, Primephonic is a game changer. It's high definition and sees classical music as symphonies, concertos, sonatas etc rather than songs. My only reservation is that you can only save downloaded music to the phone's internal storage rather than an SD card. Support say it's to prevent people downloading lots of music and then cancelling their subscription. But they're going to have to give way on this. Streaming is just too inconvenient when travelling. Otherwise, great.

Good app. Responsive developers. -1 star because navigation is still a little frustrating, particularly getting from the playing song to its album, or the current work. Also, sometimes the "my music" section won't load, and it seems to be tied to the availability of the online service. What's the point of downloading albums for offline use if i have to be online to find them?

In one night of using Primephonic's radio, I feel I have gained a whole new dimension of knowledge on the topics of music, history and philosophy alike... if only that. But then the professionally tailored playlists! And just again, the radio, such a great experience to fine-tune the music to your very needs and wants. Truly, ridiculously great work from everyone involved in the making of this service. Thank you.

The quality of the music and booklets is excellent. However, there is a bug in the Android version of the app that, as you scroll through any list of music (new releases, search results, etc.) randomly flashes the screen and sends you back to the top of the list. It makes the app extremely frustrating and nearly impossible to use.

The music quality (lossless option) is astounding. It's almost like I'm hearing the music for the first time. When I started my trial, I'd stand in front of my best soundbar and say out loud, "Oh my God." The interface and selection are unmatched. No algorithms here. Humans curate the gigantic catalog. All my great CDs are represented on this fantastic app. If you love classical as I do, this is your only choice. Well worth the price.

Five stars for streaming classical music. I love this app. EXCEPT zero stars because when I am trying to use other apps, specifically Duolingo, it will unexpectedly start up and override the audio from the other app. So far I have tried leaving music stopped (of course), removing it from recent apps and doing a force stop. After a few minutes it comes back. If nothing else works I will have to uninstall it. And I really don't want to do that.

The service is awesome. Up to this day I still kept my classical music collection in my phone because services like Spotify and Deezer might be good for other genres but completely miss the mark with classical music. Primephonic allows me to find and compare many different interpretations of a piece in a cleverly organized way, on top of providing the right way to categorize classical music, which is a lot more varied than other genres. You can find it by artist, type of piece, performer, etc.

Great for new Classical listeners! I just recently started listening to Classical, and I wasn't sure how to best explore. This app has playlists that make it so easy. They have playlists organized by time period, famous artists, instruments, moods and more so that you can explore and find your favorites. I'm super impressed and will be subscribing. 😊

Best app and service for classical music, and I have tried more than one. I became a subscriber. I like the curated playlists, accessing CD booklets (please add more), the podcasts. But the search function could use improvements to sort out results and make it easier to find stuff. Too many duplicates sometimes. Also, since you support multiple devices, I'd like to be able to control the web player on my PC through my phone. I'm assuming you may need a dedicated PC app for that.

I'm finishing the trial period, and carrying on with the paid version without hesitation, despite the hefty price tag. All the reviews that cite the "download" issues are spot on. They've said they're fixing it and I hope they do soon. It ruins a magnificent app. If they wanted to target that crowd who are constantly bouncing between BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM, they couldn't have done a better job. Music should be for everyone and it would be nice if they had a limited free version.

After just a day of using the app I have to say it's awesome. The sound quality is just beautiful and I actually like the user interface a lot more than, for example, spotify's. Just the way everything's organized, and how easy it is to find new music, especially for someone rather new to classical music. If it just wasn't this expensive...

Great app, the sound quality is really great and I also like the clean interface. What has to be improved is the library. After I add an album to my library, I would like to sort them by "recently added" and name (like Spotify) and to filter them by name (like Spotify) so that it is easier to find things in my own library. Right now this part of the experience is too clunky. Also, chromecast support. I really like that my fee ends up with classical artists instead of mainly Rihanna :)

Everything's good. Almost: the sound quality, human touch and the variation. However, its user interface needs to be improved. In particular, it should be set up in a way you can easily find what you have downloaded for offline listening. Currently it's a toil to find them by scrolling endlessly the "my music" page. Ridiculous.
