It's a nice remake of the classic POP games. The stages don't have the same layout as the original POP2 so there is some new challenge to it. There are also achievements and collectibles to keep you busy a bit more.

This is the best one made by ubisoft for the android device. It looks like prince of persia is making a come back on the playstore. It's time to reboot this game.

Loved every second of the game. Especially the challenge of 100% it.

This game is quiet awesome with a great graphics ,but cant be compared to the original pop game, and it must have a harder battles and the controls must be better, otherwise i liked it s and i am enjoying it,keep on the good work ubisoft and i wish u creat a better pop game for the mobile than this one.But the only thing that confused me is where is the shadow power, and the flames are just used to kill jaafar...I wonder why u add the shadow to the game's name

Not only is it pay as you go its full of that bloody awful Facebook and advertising stuff. That would be fair enough if the game was free but I paid two pounds for it. Two pounds that to be honest I would like back because the trash is spoiling beyond use an otherwise fair game.

I have played all versions of POP. In this android version, the art work great especially in such a small application footprint. Game experience is boring at times because Prince can't move during combat state. Prince moves only the preconfigured flow than moving around to see the places like in other versions. Partial game save option will be great help since in mobile we don't get to play for long.

Good graphics. That's where it ends. Glad I bought this on sale for 50 cents. I mean if it were to make me feel nostalgic I might have given an extra star. It plays quite okay for me, and the gestures are as responsive as I thought they would be, but that's okay. Thing is, this is getting old. The Nokia platformers were better and more involving. 'Nuff said.

The game and controls feel just like the very early and first prince of persia. The playability is very good unlike many other good looking but bad playing mobile games. The only thing I wish is it had a little more of is the Persian music. Apart from that it is 9 out of 10. For those who remember it was the music that made the pop games good.

I am the Prince of Persia and the king of blades. I need a new installment for the PC. Come on UBISOFT, there's no new POP game since 2008 for PC. Give us the sequel for 2008 or bring us a new Prince, like producer Matt mentioned in this universe there are a lot of Prince of Persia's and we will be going through all of their stories. I can't wait any more for our next Prince... This title/character makes my soul and heart beat... <3

I'm a big fan of Prince of persia but this game don't really come close to even worst previous pop games. Even though gameplay and graphics are acceptable(still average, could've been much better) . Sound(specially soundtrack) and storytelling are bad even by mobile games standarts. Game feels like a cashgrab with no real potencial. Could've been way more better.

The extreme casual customer is absolutely ruining the mobile industry for gamers. The potential is so great but companies insist to plague their games with micro transactions. I would rather pay $10 for this game unlocked than to deal with a game restricted and modified to feed the need of micro transactions. A shame....

The new graphics are nice but controls are hit and miss. There is a gesture system and a virtual joystick, but both lack precision and responsiveness. I think it would be much better with a gamepad. It's worth its money, if you get it on a sale. Avoid linking your Facebook account as it only provides a way for the game to spam your friends when completing a level and there is no way to turn it off.

The controls are not easy to use and not fluid at all. Combat is very boring. Storytelling is quite poor and could use some voice acting at least. Also add a "continue" option instead of just the full "skip". The levels are designed decently and in general it's not a bad platformer. It's a paid game yet it still has advertisements, it's unacceptable. The game offers in app purchases but those aren't necessary to beat the game for sure. My game doesn't sync with my Google profile very well either. Please fix

I used to play Prince of Persia when I was a little kid. Since then it is some time now, and when I saw this game on Google Play, I decided to give it a try. At the time was game even on a sale, what's a nice plus. After installation and opening the game, it has surprised me with stunning graphics; really, I do not usually play games, actually I am not playing games altogether, I had just decided to try one from days of my childhood and I was really pleasured when I payed for this. As I said, graphics is just so dynamic with particle, motion and other effects, motion system of the Prince is without complaining. At beginning I did think the combat system could be better, but after playing game again and again I used to it, managed to get all combos to higher level and combat is just so great as the rest of the game. Worth game.

It's a fun game by its own rights, but don't think for a second that it's a faithful adaptation of the original. It is very easy in comparison, and to make matters worse, they let you buy the strongest sword outright with real money. At the end, I found that to obtain all of the upgrades and items, you would need to grind money for days or pay into a game that already had an upfront cost. At least there are no banner or pop-up ads...

Enjoyed playing this game on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and currently do so on my Archos Gamepad 2 with physical buttons. But two problems need fixing. Towards the end of "The Storm", the sound effects get messed up. Also, the Prince at times jumps forward rather than running, it felt like the controls were possessed. (Also, I'd like to see how PoP 3D remake would be like, but expect Ubisoft to make future games more console-like, especially for my tab.)

Beautiful game i love it! Although the fighting is boring thats why I gave it 4 stars. It so makes me want to play the earlier POP games, and that's exactly what I'm going to do after I finish this game. Come to think about it, that's probably the purpose why you made this game. To sell the old POP games. Ubisoft you sneaky

It's been almost 20 years since I first played PoP2 and I was expecting someone to do a mobile reception remake. This is a good effort but the combat system is terrible. You can't move while in combat mode and if my memory serves me right, you could put your sword away and run away from enemies in the original. As many people have mentioned, the combat is the most boring part of the game. As I was a big fan of the original, I can be critical and say that the story sequences are extremely poor as well. I seem to remember the original at least at some animation. Typical Hollywood style remake unfortunately; none of the charm of the original.

Lame storytelling, levels where awfully designed, just not that nostalgic feeling..battle system and movement are not fluent. This was the basis of prince 2 back then..now just a quick game...sorry ubisoft dissapointed could have been better and awwsome

Great example of a classic that was ported with care and style. Just as fun as ever, took me back to a better time.

Ubisoft, thanks for letting us play this game using a Bluetooth controller. And I know this is a very very old game, but could you please add more resolution support for it? This is the only thing bothering me about this game, it's the black vertical bar from Android, and I wish I could make it go away while I'm playing PoP. Additionally, what about Assassin's Creed Chronicles for Mobile? Make It a premium game, WITH BT Controller support, and you'll have my money.
