Print Text Messages
Simply select the contact you wish to print text messages from and the app will collate all the SMS messages from your device into a printable list.
You can then export the copied SMS messages into your chosen app or web service or you can choose to email the text messages using your email client or GMail.
Print Text Messages supports a variety of web services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, Adobe PDF and many others. You can quickly and easily export your text messages using any installed service you have.
Print Text Messages is useful if you need to print SMS messages for business or if you need to show evidence of an ex sending your threatening or abusive text messages. If someone is sending you abusive SMS messages simply select them from the contact list and email the text messages to your lawyer or print out the text messages to present to a law enforcement agency.
This free version of Print Text Messages only shows the first 12 messages in a text message thread, you can print entire message threads by upgrading within the app.

This app was great when I first bought it but it no longer lets me select a date-range in a conversation to print. When I try to save or print a really long thread it only prints or saves a portion of the messages and as a result, I am unable to print or save my more recent texts. This app is now completely useless to me.
I have been looking for an app that does this for a long time. I didn't want to back up messages, I just wanted to download them in a way I could easily copy and paste. This does it perfect, and so quickly and easily. One tap, and I had a PDF of my entire text thread in an easy to read format. Highly recommend!
Has to load by "reading" the text messages EVERY TIME you log on or back out of it and it takes at least 5 minutes depending on how many texts you have. (And I don't have a lot) Even when I select a certain time frame on just ONE contact, it's a LONG wait, and then it kicks you out of having to print them. When I finally got to where it will let me print, it is literally 2 texts PER PAGE, so it required almost 400 pages for 3 months worth of texts. Paid for premium too!
For a while now I have been looking for an app that works with my Pixel 5 and does exactly what I need it to do. Just save text messages, pics and all, to PDF for printing or to reference later. This app is the only one I found and I'm elated! I love that it displays phone numbers along with the contacts name and it's super easy to use. I don't know if it prints group messages, if not hopefully some day. Thank you for the app and for not charging a ton of money to use it!
I do not rate often but this app is wonderful! Saved me hours of screen shot and printing! It is worth the 3.89 for the advanced option. Prints texts and anything you have sent in the text including pics. Very easy to read on printout and it's dated and time stamped on each text.
This app is awesome and convenient. Instead of doing screen shots and emailing. This package all messages in a easy to read format color coded between sender and recipient. It's great for small businesses that need history of comunications for court or for plain clarifications. I highly recomend this app
Application quit working altogether. Once I get tot he print screen the app automatically re-reads all the text messages on the phone without printing selected text messages (same thing happens when I tried to convert the message into PDF). I emailed product support but did not back from them
Mehhh, kinda shady though. It seems easy enough, but I JUST got it! You have to buy it ($4.99) if you want to print more than 12 messages! That is just shady to me, but I am too busy to keep looking around for a free or better one. I do NOT like that one text is ONE whole page of print!
It worked great at first. I even bought the full version. But after a week, now when I try to print it says Failed to Update Settings and when you click retry it does nothing. This is useless to me now. I tried everything to get it working again with no luck.
This app helped me while I was going through court with my ex. Buy the full version, its affordable and worth it! Mixed up the side some of the messages were on such as received being on the sent side. But it still says who its from and mostly happened from going way back. Beats screen shotting any day!
Premium is better but either way it's annoying for large conversations If they added a function to see how large the file would be that would help alot because above 25mb its more complicated to send You'll probably have to break the conversation into 1 or 2 week periods to print those sections, but it will take a long time As far as i can tell this is the best app for this on play but there's room to improve, i did buy premium and i consider that the most useful part of the app
I'm able to print messages. Even the emoji messages. But it's scrambling other messages into the person's messages I want to print. It's also leaving out a lot of the conversation of the person I'm trying to save to PDF. It's a jumbled mess. It's saying the conversation is 230 pgs long. It's that long because it's full of pieces of other people's texts to me and me to them. It's kind of strange that it leaves out the main conversations I need to have a record of? Very selective failure?
one star at least, but only for actually downloading.Will not show messages sent using current sms apps and they want your money to end the free trial which doesnt actually work anyway.Great idea if you want to print a text from the last century - a bit like buying a car without an engine on a free trial only then to be told to get your money out but dont be disappointed to be going nowhere as the car was sold as seen, minus an engine,of course.Probably works fine on a 25year old Nokia!
It doesn't tell you it's going to first upload ALL of your text messages (who is getting all of my info and convos and what are they doing with them?) before allowing you to proceed. If you choose the basic level "quick print" you are limited in the number of texts it will print, so you wont be able to print a longer conversation. If you choose "advanced" to print only a certain date range, it uploads all of your messages (again, who is getting all of my data and what are they now doing with it??) only to tell you that advanced isnt available without the upgraded paid version. So now, a random company has ALL of my conversations from the beginning of my time with this phone, and I have nothing. DUMB app... Should be upfront and tell people from the beginning that they will upload ALL of your convos and that the number you can print is limited unless you pay. Totally worthless app to me.
I think this app is great idk what these other people are talking about. I've struggled for some time now trying to find something just like this for legal purposes. I couldn't thank you enough. For the record, if someone wants to read your messages or gain access to your phone they will do it trust me. It's all already out there. Only thing you can do is not have one if that skeptical.
App crashed on my first three attempts, right after unwanted spam adds. Then only after my 4th attempt I was informed that it only allows to transfer 12 messages(including your own replays) free of charge. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!
The app does the job, it struggles with large number of texts. I got some excellent support and was able to save a 16,000 plus thread and save them to PDF. I think the guide is a bit out of date.
Whenever I try to save a large conversation in the printable format, it times out and won't let me save the pdf. Is there any way to fix this? Smaller amounts of messages works good.
I had to upgrade to the advertisement free version for $4.99, but when I did, I was able to print out a beautiful professional document that separated my text conversations by color!
It cant handle large conversations. I'm trying to save a conversation of about 13,000 texts and it resets itself after completing it, but before I can save it.
Works well as a demo, but after you waste your money on it, it isn't any better. Pro features don't work, none of the features work properly at all for that matter. This app is a scam.
It's a con . Says it will save a file for printing and can't be found . Saved texts but not for me. Disgraceful.

Texts were backed up all out of order, and since the trial only lets me see 5 texts, I didn't know this would be an issue till after I wasted $5.
Useless. I have more than 2000 conversations at lists them randomly. There is no way to find the conversation you want to print
I download this app. It wont open up a converstion i am trying to print. I even paid for it and it still won't work!!! Waste of time and money!!! I have used this app in the past but now i would not tell anyone about it!!! Also i emailed twice and got no answer!!! They dont even deserve a star!!! That is how bad they are!!!
I couldn't figure out why this app only printed a few of the texts in my message. Thanks to L. Mullen, I discovered that it will only print 12 messages; although I guess it would print more if you upgraded to the paid version. I stopped trying and saved a lot of paper after discovering this. I would not recommend this because of this lack of very important information (above) not provided, and the subsequent waste of paper and time. I uninstalled it of course.
