I just downloaded this today. So far, it's exactly what I was looking for. I had been using a spreadsheet that I created for budgeting and bills. Spreadsheet is pretty awesome, but annoying to use, esp on a phone. Apps just make more sense. This was very easy to set up and add accounts. It was much easier than I anticipated. Even the few accounts I had to add manually were easy to set up. Biggest flaw so far is that it is ridiculously, painfully slow. And actually crashed while I was typing this

I've been using this app since 2017 and each update gets so much worse. The app is slow to load and you have to go through multiple confirmations just to mark as paid. Archiving billers is a lost cause don't bother just delete the biller. If you aren't on top of each month with marking manual billers you have to change back to the previous month for each one. I have to keep a paper ledger because the app randomly drops billers. I'm currently looking for a replacement so I can delete the app.

Individuals are ultimately responsible for their bills, but an app like Prism is supposed to make managing them easier. Because Prism couldn't link properly with TD Bank (Online Access Plus) I didn't receive a reminder. Needless to say I was not happy about having to make a late payment on top of fees, but it was my mistake for trusting in this app after years of using it. Manual biller and a few other companies still work in this app for me, but overall, highly disappointed.

What happened to this app? It used to be really good. But that was years ago. Now you never know if it's actually going to pay a bill or not until the day After it's due and it says payment has been canceled. Some bills completely disappear altogether. Constantly have to relink every account and still have to go to the website to pay a bill. So not sure what the purpose of this app is except to get all your info. And their response is always something generic.

I used to love this app before the new version with this new UI came out... Everything worked flawlessly back then... Since the big change to the app and updated UI it just seems less and less features work... several of my billers no longer sync even though it says they are successfully added they never display any information... very disappointed with what this app has become in the last year... Just wanted to update my review... if I could I would give this app 0 stars. Its worse than before

This was once my favorite app. Now I hate it. Can't do anything on a dual screen. My billers disappeared except for one. Asked for help and nothing was checked. When this was a scrappy company they were fantastic. Now it has become a very big disappointment.

Doesn't deserve 2 stars for not listening to customers for well over a year. It just isn't the same, nor is it much good without any comparison. It just doesn't work well. I'm giving 2 stars for higher visibility and hope that the dev company wakes up to reality?? Maybe they have and will dump this hot mess onto the back burner in favor of other projects/investments...

Garbage. Used to love this app when it worked. Now it frequently unlinks accounts for no reason (this is not an issue specific to one account as it happens with nearly all of them), and doesn't always tell you this is happening. It also is impossible to re-link most of these accounts. This results in missing bills, owing additional money, hurting your credit, etc. The ONLY thing an app like this absolutely has to be is reliable, and it fails miserably at that. If you're looking for a good way to NOT pay your bills, and a bit of additional frustration in your life as a bonus, this app is for you. Edit: thanks for the response, but reaching out to support is pointless. I have done this repeatedly and they seem clueless on how to resolve any of the issues. Clearly it's a problem with the app, it's not just me, I think the 2.6 star rating reflects that.

Unlike many I haven't had many issues. I've been using prism for going on 5 years now, seeing them change hands and overhaul the ui. From my experience the ui isn't terrible maybe not as slick as it was but I've had no issue with it. There are sync issues sometimes and they're annoying but from what I can tell they aren't always on the apps end and when it is I've found support usually helpful to get the other addressed. It does what I want with few issues.

This app is a hot mess. UI is clunky and slow. Devs definitely need to invest more on testing/improving UX. Constant sync issues. It can take them months to resolve connectivity issues with billers. I now find myself wasting time having to check if this will be able to pay a bill or not. Enough is enough and I'm moving on.

This app used to be amazing. Everything was laid out in a manner that made sense. Now it feels like they let a designer who'd never made a budget before work on the layout. It's needlessly complicated and freezes half the time. I spend more time restarting the app than I do paying bills. What a shame! Can we go back to the old style, please?

Phi. T. Mar 28, 2022

I just recently transitioned away from this app and was really sad to go. But this app used to be really great and I was also hoping for some new features but they just never came. Here's where it failed for me: ## Failed to notify me when it couldn't like to a biller I actually missed a payment for the first time in years - this is how much I trusted this app. There was an issue that it had linking to the biller after it had already been linked. I'm guessing the biller changed its policy or something or 2fa - whatever it was. And the recurring bill did not show up on my account. I figured I paid it early (I usually do this) so I didn't worry. Well, I was a whole month behind. What could it have done? In the app, there is an option to setup a manual biller. This should automatically be the fallback whenever a connection issue is determined. You can't just assume your user does not have a bill anymore unless they explicitly remove the biller. ## Poor visibility of bills I don't pay my bills on a week to week basis. I pay my bills on a paycheck to paycheck basis. So my upcoming bills should reflect that. There is a calendar view (which was added later) and this did help. What could have been done? There are 2 dimensions a bill lives in. Pay Period concern and state. What bills am I most concerned about at the moment? My upcoming bills before my next pay period. What do I want to know about these bills? Are they Paid? Are they late? Are they due? The current UI does not reflect this.

I didn't mention in my previous review. It is just slow. I've learned to open it and go do something else and come back too it, because it is that slow.

New redesign introduced alot of biller connect issues. Verizon, usaa, a few other financial services don't work and have been in a limbo state for almost a year. Everything used to work so flawlessly before the redesign. Idk what has caused issues to be unresolved for so long but the lack of perceived effort on their part has me looking for an alternative

I still hate the layout and seems like some bills don't update automatically and they need to be synced/refreshed. Don't remember having issues with this in the old UI. I receive emails from Spotify daily notifying of suspicious logins... Finally realize that it's this app. Would be nice if there was a log that shows when Prism attempts to authenticate...or if the billers could identify that an API was used to login... instead of just saying that someone in the US logged into your account

Before the new company took over a year or so ago, this was hands down the best financial app available. Everything worked great, lots of banks available, reminders worked perfect. The new company took over and changed the layout and design, now half of the reminders don't work, billers won't connect, you can't even manually mark some bills as paid. I wish the old company would take back over and put it back the way it was.

This app used to be amazing. I've used it and only it for years to pay all my bills. But in the last 2 months they have cost me multiple missed payments and late fees. It has disconnected and logged out of several accounts causing me to miss bills and get late payments on my credit score. If you use this...make sure you double check everything every single month. Like make sure you sync your bills manually because it missing some. And have a backup app just in case.

Eli. J. T. Jan 18, 2022

I used to love this app, but I've had too many problems with it. 1. Multiple times, no alert about a due date unless I actively open the app (good thing I remember). 2. Issues with payments going through: I made two payments to two Citi cards. One went through fine, another didn't until the following day, by which point it was late, incurring interest charges. 3. Constant syncing issues. App didn't notify me of an issue, so due dates slipped. This just isn't worth it anymore. Creates stress.

Lar. F. Nov 29, 2021

I like not having to log into my bank to pay bills. Oct 14, 2021: Continues to be glitchy, crossing the border into useless. Click to pay, and 10s of clicks later, it won't take the payment. Nov 29, 2021 Things are much better. Still random issue getting it to recognize phone's numeric KB, but I think it's back to working like it used to.

Jam. W. Dec 17, 2021

This app has had a lot of issues lately losing connections to billers or just not syncing to update. Then they notify you a day or two later after your bill is now past due. In the last 3 months I have incurred 200 in late fees due to depending on this app. You are better just manually entering billers and setting reminders to pay them directly. There are several other apps that do that though so wouldn't make this one unique.

Joe. S. Jan 17, 2022

Uses to love this app (previously 5 stars). Now they don't work with the largest banks aka Wells Fargo. It's been almost a year since a system change that broke the connection and still not fixed. Also tons of issues with chase. Stuck or failed payment have caused late fees to be applied to my account. This is the only app of it's kind for actually paying bills and numbers of sites that work........except the big one apparently which are the most important

Jen. S. Nov 30, 2021

What have you done to this app??? I have used Prism for a few years and lately I can't even get the app to open. When I do get it to open it's stuck on the last update. It seems like a lot of my billers have to sync from month to month. I don't know what you guys did, but this went from an easy app to use to one I can barely access to use if I wanted to. Very disappointed. Now I have to search for a reliable app since this is no longer reliable.

Sus. N. May 11, 2022

When are they going to change it back to the old app..this new one is just not working.. you can see it in all the comments

Rub. D. Aug 10, 2021

Has lost reliability. Cannot sync with lots of billers, does not notify you when there is an issue, and operates sluggishly. The new update appears more refined but still lacks the quality it used to have. Been using it for years. Can't depend on it any longer. **Update** They got to work after that disastrous new interface launch. Lots of changes have been made and now the app is functioning as it should.

A. G. u. Feb 1, 2021

This app is awesome. For the first time, I've got all my bills, banks, cards, and loans all in one place! Schedule, or make one-time bill payments for all your accounts from one platform. If you struggle to keep up with your monthly finances, you gotta get this app. UPDATE 1/31/21 They revamped the app, and now it's awful. The functionality is clunky and erratic, and the redesigned UX is counterintuitive and difficult to navigate. They took a great app and service, and ruined it.
