Prison Architect: Mobile

Great game! Would love to see more updates trying to add some of DLC from the PC version. It would be understandable if there is technological restraints however I feel as if I am missing key features that the PC version offers. Still a great game with UNLIMITED play time. Everything I open the game I expect to be busy for 2 hours minimum.

Great game, I've got this game on PC, Switch and now my phone and I've got to say its great to play. Its less buggy than the switch version but there are a few small bugs that I've reported but it doesn't affect gameplay at all. It's by far the best game i have on my phone. I wouldn't bother buying all the scenario levels just buy the prison builder for £4.99

Sent a bug report, but on the Galaxy S10 it has an issue where trying to tap on objects close to the bottom part of your phone is difficult. The hitbox for them shifts to the right just a bit. It's a fantastic game and the value of purchasing the entire thing isn't bad at all, but that glitch is preventing me from dropping money on it until it's fixed.

I love the PC version and was excited to see Prison Architect come out on the app store, but was hesitant to buy it due to the reviews. Now that it is free, I decided to install the game. But I couldn't do anything. It wouldn't let me place a foundation or click anywhere else. I hope they fix the game. UPDATE: I previously rated the app 1☆, but changed to 3 after another review said to switch phone to swipe buttons in the navigation settings. It worked for me but it still wasn't as smooth.

It's great on PC. But this version is poorly ported. Poor UI and controls + it's not meant for Galaxy Note 20 Ultra screen resolution. It's not full screen and touch screen is not mapped correctly, so I have to tap about quarter inch to the right from an actual object on the screen. To sum up: sadly, it's just impossible to play this game in its current state.

I was so excited when I saw Prison Architect Mobile. I have sunk tons and tons of hours into the pc game and was looking forward to being able to play on the go. The huge, game breaking issue for me (and many other reviewers) is the fact the hit boxes don't line up with the boxes at all. If you want to select a menu option, like "rooms" "objects" etc, you have to push to the right. I am using a Samsung Note 10 plus. Hoping you guys can get this taken care of.

I have this game for the PC and love it and it really suits a tablet however some of the interface buttons are misaligned, for example on the first screen where you click new game you need to click above the button for it to work, it's the same inside the game too. The only interface that works is the objectives panel. If this bug was fixed I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Great game, just like the PC version. A helpful suggestion if you're having issues with your device regarding display/touch. This tip worked for my device (Samsung Galaxy Note 10+) and may work for you. Change Navigation Type under Settings>Display>Navigation bar>Navigation type: Change to swipe gestures. This solves the issue of display/touch not registering correctly. Try this if your UI is misaligned or you can't seem to touch the button correctly. Once I figured this out, I purchased the game and had hours of fun playing.

I have played Prison Architect for a long time on PC and was happy to discover that it's also available on Android. The thing that makes me very sad though, is that even though the Samsung Galaxy S10 has been out for quite a few months already, but this game still hasn't been optimised for this phone yet. The resolution does not fill the screen, and while playing I have to tap next to a button to click it, instead of tapping directly on it. Please fix this and I will download it again!

Downloaded the game and right off the bat there were issues. I couldnt even do the tutorial because none of the icons worked. I sat stuck on the VERY FIRST PART where you have to build the execution facility. When selecting a guard, you couldn't deselect them, but you had to fire them to regain control of the game. I've got a brand new S10 so I know it's not my phone. I would love to see this game work out but if I cant even start the tutorial then I'd say this is a lost cause. Wait for patch.

Most buttons don't work, especially those on the right hand side of the screen. No matter what I did they would not work, but then a button in the top left hand corner of the screen works exactly as it is supposed to. Writing is also very hard to read. Clearly developers pay no attention to feedback based on many other reviews. Still to date this remains unfixed, despite multiple emails and support requests

The game is good in general but there are some stuff I'd like the developers to fix or add into the game. 1. After about 3 in-game days, the FPS goes to about 0.1 and it's just bad. 2. I can't have two game saves at a time so I can't do too much at a time. 3. It would be cool if there was multiplayer and prisoner mode on mobile. 4. The UI things in the game randomly go away so I think it is just a bad game on mobile.

Entire ui is offset. There is a gray bar on the right hand side of my screen, and I'm only able to click on things by hitting an entire button length to the right of it. It makes accurate clicking and creation impossible. I really enjoy this game for the PC and switch and I really wanted to support the devs further, but this is unplayable. The interface is so broken I'm upset I wasted my time on it.

This is a really bad port of the game. Especially for any tablets, where you get a solid grey border on top. If you want the full experince, get it on the computer. This also doesnt say it here, but when you download this, you get a trial mode. I tried both touchscreen + Mouse and keyboard. THe border on top makes the game absolutely unplayable.

Great on PC, unplayable on mobile. I have 40+ hours on the PC version, but the touch screen on here is misaligned to the point where some icons/menu items are not clickable. Gave up a few minutes into the trial version. I couldn't even select most of the build menu.

Prison Architect itself is an amazing game. This mobile version is Prison Architect in all it's glory. However I play on a Galaxy S10 and it doesn't quite fit on my screen properly. Also the touch screen is off on this game causing me to have to touch slightly to the right of what I want in order to select it. Besides that this game is awesome. Please fix the display issues and I will give 5 stars and enjoy playing the game more. Thank you for creating this game as well as porting it to mobile.

I really love this game. No stopped playing it on xbox1 and xbox 360. Only down side to this game for me is the button for the build menu and everything to do with build mode e.g picking what I want and placing it down the button is in the wrong place for me after I had to press my phone till I found it. It could work but after awhile i kept forgetting about the button isn't in the right place and i was getting annoyed with that. Hope it can be fixed

Since my 1st rating of the app since March 2020 and issues with screen resolution and font sizes being to small as well as the issues with the menus being off, nothing has changed. I even updated to the full game for 4.99 hoping that maybe that would fix it it did not. They want 14.99 for this to get all the content its not worth even the 4.99 with issues its having. 10 months is more then enough time for them to make the effort. Dont buy unless its practically free unless they fix the issues.

I really like it. I am used to watching people use the desktop version, so it was an odd switch, but given a week or so, I got it down. I would not reccomend if you don't have money to spend on it, so the app itself might as well cost money. You can't really do anything without Architect Mode ($5) or without unlocking the full game ($15), and that costs money. But otherwise, it's a cool game.

fantastic game....played on xbox one. Sadly it doesn't support the screen size of the Samsung S10. Making it very frustrating to play. When selecting anything I need to touch the screen up to a quarter of an inch left or right of the thing you're trying to select. Real shame.

Started off pretty good, running through the tutorial. End up closing the game because had something to do, and when I came back to it, buttons wouldn't work. Text is too small. I have an S10. Seems like a fun game, but can't get passed the tutorial to fully enjoy it.

Was great but not working on Note 10 or Tab S4 anymore, the screen Is offset and you can't click on all buttons. I would suggest testing on more real devices, not an emulator. Will re-review if it gets fixed. Developers seem to have no interest in fixing the game for one of the most popular brand of Android devices. Nice!

Love it! I've been playing this game since the alpha builds on PC. This version comes free as a demo and you can purchase the full free build and or the story campaign levels. The controls with a touch screen are a little trickier than a mouse and keyboard set up but I can play it sunk deep in a chair after a long day. Thank you Introversion software, my T-shirt has long since been worn out and destroyed but I still have the Prison Architect poster on my wall and the metal game box shelved.😀

In order to fix the Grey bar on the bottom turn on auto rotate flip your phone horizontal or [----] in simpler terms and launch the game after that the game should work fine. And for the blue glitching just zoom in and it'll go away. It's just a bit more tedious

Purchased the 4.99 pack to be able to save and im impressed the game runs at all. After putting so many hours into the PC version, its nice to have this available but theres so many flaws with this port that im amazed I tolerate them enough to play it. The font is pretty difficult to read, and no scaling options available. The game runs a bit sluggish but still handles a prison of about 65 so far, with about 100 total entities. Id like to hope the bugs will be fixed, but until then, 2 stars.

Unplayable, at first I couldn't figure out what was wrong. The left part of the screen was greyed out while the rest of the game seemed compressed which made everything had to read even on a note 10+ screen. The right bottom button wouldn't work no matter what I did until I tried hitting the greyed out part where the button would have been if the screen was properly stretched out. And to my surprise it worked. But its impossible to navigate the build menu like that making the game unplayable

I really love this game on the xbox. But on android it keeps freezing. Everytime you go away from the game on another screen, on screen keyboard, or even swipe down to view notifications, it goes to a black loading screen and freezes. then I loose all my progress. Please fix this and I will rerate the game!
