Privacy Flashlight

used this all the time but now it turns it self off after about 20 to 30 seconds. no need to respond to me, I have moved on to a different one that works just as good as this one used to.

Screen or LED options for when you don't want to blind yourself in the early morning and/or screen light just isn't enough.

I uninstalled it when it needed permission to record photos and videos after an update.

Used to love this app. Now it spams me with for size ads and popups. Uninstall

Lost my purchase and now it wants me to buy it again.

Why can't I upgrade like the app offers?

I was using the small 1 x 1 widget for the flashlight only. Since the update I now only have the option of the 3 x 3 widget that now doesn't fit on my front screen. I am now forced to use another app. Great way to get rid of your customers! Until you fix the widget it's unusable for me and the reason for only 1 star.

I've had this app for several years, and use it frequently. I updated recently, and a strobe and compass were added. I just updated again, and now these two features are only available if I pay for them. I'm going to go with CM's flashlight app. At least they don't jerk users around with their apps.

Need to change the name... I've loved and used this app on my last 4 phones, just got a new one today and saw the widget is now 2x2 and extra permissions are needed. Thought surely i mustve got the wrong app... nope.. It was small, simple, easy. Now its another crappy flashlight app.

Your app used to be great, but now it has all of these extra features that I never wanted, with permissions I never originally agreed to, and now the widget is huge and ugly. I click on the other features and it's an add to pay of this other crap! And your "Lite" version costs money? You just lost me. I'm removing this unless things go back to how they were (which they won't).

I'm absolutely amazed at how developers are able to ruin a great app. More is not better. The simple app was awesome. Now it's got a bunch of crap no one needs or wants and pesters you to re-buy the app.

I love how the developer dealt with all the whiners and complainers. One of the most difficult, highly skilled professions that requires the best and brightest to work really really hard is computer programming, writing code for software. Yet somehow everyone thinks they're all independently wealthy or do it for fun. Any gorilla can do a brake job or replace a water pump on a vehicle, no school no brains. When was the last time a mechanic said "no charge."?

Newest update forces widget that is 4x larger and will no longer fit on home screen. More ridiculous is that it's larger to accommodate three additional features that you have to buy to use, and they offer the "Lite" version only for purchase. Ha, uninstalled.

I got rid of the stock app because everytime I try to move the phone some place, I accidentally touch the ad which took me to their website and shut off my flashlight. Very frustrating! I love this app because once you turn it on it stays on. It has in-app purchases for other cool things but they are not in the way I'm turning off your flashlight. I love the option to either use the light at the back of the camera as more of a spotlight and you also have the option to use the screen as more of a flood

I liked it when there was just a light. Even though it claims to have no privacy intrusion, you can't use the LED light unless you grant permission for photo and video. Then you can't recend that permission afterwards.

Latest update/UPSELL completely ruined the widget and the app. This was my favorite flashlight on now on installing it because the widget is completely effing useless now!

Paid for full app and only flashlight and compass work. Waste of money. Keeping it for flashlight bit. Sony Xperia Z5.

The great think about this app used to be that you tapped the icon and the light came on right away and went off wen app was closed. With new update you have to open the app, turn on the light, then turn it off and close the app.

Had this on a previous phone. It was just a flashlight and that's all I needed. No permissions if I recall. Now it wants to access led. Fine, no problem. But then requests permission to take pictures and video. No deal.

I love this app but the only part i used the 1x1 flashlight widget is gone now. They updates to a 2x2 widget, but this isnt why i wanted this app. Need a 1x1....

I just wanted a free basic flashlight. New app has a bunch of useless features that you have to pay to use.

Please return the camera flash light to previous version. Somewhere the permissions have changed. I have uninstalled the app, because of this.

Why would a flashlight need to take pictures and record video. That makes this one not so private.
