This app is great! It does everything and maintains my data privacy. The only thing I would tweek is when I want to scroll backwards by weeks, days or months; if it was a dial function or something to make it easier to then scroll back to the present calendar. Ps. Do you make a calculator app? I swapped my broken phone for a replacement but the replacement was missing many of the usual apps ☹
App is accurate, to calibrate it to your step length; you go to Settings - Walking Modes - then adjust the step length to match the distance you walked. If you don't have a measured mile somewhere, you can use your car to measure a mile or some shorter distance if you are not up to miles yet or possibly google maps and walk it. then adjust your steps to match the distance. Have a good time getting out.
I love the idea of a privacy focuesed pedometer app but this one is obviously not being maintained. It crashed within the first 2 hours of using it, losing about 5000 steps. Im not going to deal with that on a regular basis. Its a shame because I would absolutely pay for a simple, stable, privacy focused pedometer app.
Incredibly useful and great. No battery drain, no issues with it being 'always on'. Just works. Has helped me get more active. 14 miles of walking last week! Edit: doesn't seem to work with my Pixel 3 any more. Worked great with my Moto G6. Still a great app!
Simle app that just works, even while the display is sleeping. Other apps I tried either stopped counting when sleeping, or drained my Pixel 3 battery very quickly. No noticable battery use. So glad I found this one.
Inaccurate and inconsistent operation. Like privacy, and clean display; also no ads. Has potential. But presently unreliable.
This app was great until the latest update - it stopped counting my steps at all. Please fix! Edit 2021-07-22: the latest update is a little better (it actually recognizes some steps) but it's still missing most steps I take.
Does exactly as it says. Helps the user manage their walking without exploiting the data or device. Super easy to use!
I appreciate the initiative to prioritise privacy but the readings are not dependable. At the end of the day the app just drastically cuts my step count. Please look into this.
Have used it all of 2020, worked just fine. Since January, it only works sporadically, most of the time it fails to count my steps. I'm disappointed bc I used to love this app.
Step counter is accurate. Distance is not. Walked 2km, this app measured it as 1.4km. Would not recommend this app to people who is trying to actively measure the amount of calories burned through walking.
nice app with one bug, when I record some steps in the late evening they get moved to the next day after midnight... makes it hard to reliably hit my step goals
Not all settings are convertible to Imperial. Weight, step length cannot be changed.
Used to work perfectly. Updated my OP6 to Android 10 a few days ago and since then it has stopped counting steps.
Please explain the 5 new permissions in the last update. I pretty much get it, but many others might not. (Most won't even notice, but that's another issue.)
Great app until last update - it stopped working. Please revert to previous version or fix it.
Like the privacy feature. Don't like that there is no option to change default from kg to lb.
Walking with phone in my pocket and app failed to count steps when phone powered down as all phones do. This needs a fix please
It looks good, but that's all. 1200 steps instead of 4494. Complete useless
Wonderful app, short and sweet, does what it says it does, and that's it.
This one actually works and has step sensitivity setting.
Used to work, now only records when screen is on
This app has ceased to work on my cell phone. I am removing it.
Worked well until it suddenly stopped working in December 2021. Fooled around with the settings. Worked sporadically. Help is rudumentary and inadequate. Checked info at Secuso website. Right now, I think this app may have been the victim of an app update or an operating system update. I like the idea of a private open source pedometer so much I'm going to reinstall it and try some more to get it to work dependably. Sadly, it's not yet suitable for the casual Android phone user.
