Like most of the reviews here, I am a long-term user of KeepSolid products. Their VPN and browser used to be great...now, not so much. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Doesn't connect usually when you need it the most. Used to work well, probably just some well intended update busted it. Haven't deleted it but can't use it. Hope it gets repaired soon. PS to KS Tech Support. Skip the weak 'please contact us so you can troubleshoot it for us for free.' Just fix the f*****g things, 'K?
Great top speed in the trial version. The full-feature-browser basics are present, incl an editable start page. I am finding some skittishness in entry boxes and the tabs page. I would pay for that much speed but they are not offering a version with monthly or yearly fees, just a rich lifetime version I cannot accept because there's nothing to keep them updating. i did not use the security features, but the rest of it is 4 stars.
I feel like the UI needs some major improvements. When I press the Android back button, it closes the app instead of going back to the previous screen. I find it pretty annoying of having to log into my account each time I reopen the app. I feel that the app false short as a web browser compared to the regularly used ones such as chrome and edge or duckduckgo.
This app is an excellent idea to use a private browser. I love the idea that there are different servers to choose from as a stand alone browser without having to sign up for a full VPN package: For this accessibility I give thumbs up And the fee is so minimal that it's almost free . It's the way to go if you need a private browser - proxy. So many security features it's not funny. But one would have to experience it for themselves to know what am talking about. Keep up the good work developers
Much improved. There has definitely been work done on this app since I last used it. The browser finally seems to have glitch-free experience. I have query for the developers. For the paid version of the browser, is it possible to build in an adblocker? While I have a free browser that does this, it comes with other drawbacks. However I would gladly pay for a browser that has a built in ad blocker
Just upgraded my yearly subscription to a one-time perpetual license. I find there's more privacy surfing with this browser's built-in VPN making it a unique browser in itself where other Android based browsers lack the feature. I'm not sure if operating with a VPN in the background of the handphone OS may affect the speed or compromise the security based on similar operating algorithms. But phones of a higher CPU would be able to overcome the demands of the higher processing needs of operating a duoble layered VPN per se.
Decent browser but kinda a shame I can't find the settings to import bookmarks, password, etc. and extensions like ad blocker. Other than that not bad compared with the default internet browser.
1 thing i don't like it's when it connect to the webpage/website your attempting to browse... {for whatever reason on your device's part} ...the error screen it displays erases whatever site it was (the web link) which is very annoying of it's a site never been to and I haven't memorized it (the entire website and its sub-websites).
Update: I was able to get it to work. It was conflicting with Samsung Max obviously. If anyone else is facing this issue below, please disable Samsung Max and try again. The functionality are all good but the main part for which I use this is the VPN and it is not working anymore, it it giving an error called "connection error:500" whenever I try to connect to a VPN server. Please fix it.
When tapping the vpin set up it forces users to accept marketing emails. I have enough trouble with too many emails as it is, please make that optional or have us to pay for the vpin instead. If the price is affordable then that's okay. So that's where I stopped. Am uninstalling now. Would be wise to let people use the browser for a few mins first before putting up stuff like that so they can see if it's nice or not.
(this happens when; using an eMail app, especially GMail; tapping on a Web Link to open it in a Browser & exit the eMail app) i hate when it sort-of embeds itself into foreground of what ever app you tapped a Web Link to open, then you think youre viewing the webpage in this app BUT youre viewing the webpage (from the link you tapped) somehow within the app & this app displays as if youre totaly inside this app. And YES; I set all my eMail apps to NOT act as web Browsers!
I have wasted my money of ₹7900, very slow paid browser, free browsers like Google chrome, Firefox, opera, duckduck go, uc browser etc are excellent than this, in built VPN connection is worst, very slow, crashes frequently, asks every time for sign in, definitely this will be the first browser among the worst.
Very nice app, the UI is clean and fast clean browsering experience lots of VPN to choose from the security seems good. The prices are great. Thanks great app
UPDATE: A lot of bug! Not good user experience. Buggy. Clear browsing data also clear bookmarks and settings. And reinsert default bookmarks. Also no refresh button? What a joke! Need manually remove history. Server speed also terrible. And always appear ads notification to rate.
this is perfect app and all okay nice speed but unfortunately that's not a cheap one you can purchase in similar price the top VPNs providers like PIA or Nord VPN or others
I would of gave 4 but every search it popped up do you like the app and only option is love it 5 stars. Didnt even give me time to try it. For that reason and the annoying popup i give it a 3. Finally uninstalled it because popup wouldnt go away even after this feedback.
There is an issue with loading pages from the history. Once you click on them they don't load and the app closes.
Too many self-promoting "love our app?" requests that interrupt you when using the app and you can't switch off, which is hugely annoying. Service itself is good.
If only it could tell me which VPV I'm concerned to when on Auto-Connect. It's missing the common Share–WebLinks address button (why is that, please ?) Do I have to b connected to a VPN for it not to tell me I'm not connected to the internet, when I obviously am?… …If i can go to your very own website, but not some other sites sometimes?
Not very private if the very first thing it requires you to do is create an account and sign in... That means my data history is now being shared across their company and they now know what I'm browsing. Fail.
Garbage app. You have to give them your google info, which is gross and you have to subscribe to use it. Furthermore, once you do pay for it, it doesnt hide your IP address from websites. This app is a scam and there are much better proxy browsers/VPNs out there, do not give these people your money or info.
Private Browser is not really "private" browser, because the text with app icon already show everybody is "Private Browser", But the APP is Work Perfect ! Great APP !
Your Browser isn't worth the download without your VPN. Your VPN seems too be well worth the download BUT not this "Private" Bowser ! & it's clear data option doesn't clear browsing history! Your no competition in the Web Browser War!
Just a browser. I remove preinstalled apps, but they always come back. I add bookmarks but, they get removed. There is no automatic history removal. Have to remove history twice for it to get removed.
It's good, it can be temperamental but overall it's been a good experience, the only thing I would hope for is that it offers more search engines like brave or duck duck go in future
So far, excellent results. I really like the fact that it is a browser and a VPN combination.
I thought i would of been able to clear cache etc manually, or at least see that it was cleared. I was a bit harsh putting one star so i upped it.
It's convenient for my daily use but it doesn't have options like how normal browser should have. Example, changing the view mobile and desktop, sometime I can zoom in, and sometime I can't zoom in, as in PayPal website, I can't logout when I'm done with it. Often prompt no Internet connection but I'm actually connected to my home WiFi network. Kindly improve on the browser features and also add in for PC devices as well. As at times its difficult to use only on small devices.
