Private Downloader

It's actually a really good private browser and downloader. Sure, you have to watch an ad, but that's what actually allows you to download vids, images, etc on here. The only downside, is that, yes, the ads, but also, you cant download things from YouTube, but that's for an entirely different reason, that cannot be bypassed. In general, nice app, I'd give 7-8/10, if out of ten.

I decided to pay because I remember the old app being so intuitive. It was actually the only app that worked period! I remember you could see how big files were. This allowed you to skip out on downloading some damn 969 kb ads. You could also manually call up the video-finding system without refreshing the page! If you refresh the website, you refresh the website ads, too! Also, it seems websites have caught on to you guys. Whatever y'all do doesn't seem to be working well anymore.

I downloaded a video, but couldn't locate it on my device. Where is it? I searched for it using its Private Downloader file name, but got no results. Private Downloader gives you no clue. This is the first time I couldn't find a file. What's up with that? Update: Had to export the video from the app to my device. Found it in the "Movies" folder. Okay. Frustrating, but not unworkable. 4 stars instead of 1 for now. This app did download a video that many other downloaders couldn't.

This app used to be good. Not many adds and chromecast function and u could save downloads. Now there is no chromecast function and you can't download anymore and worse of all after you watch one stream app constantly asks you to buy add-free version and it's so bad that you can't do anything becoues as soon as you do anything like press on a video or scroll down etc you just get the same message buy add-free and no matter how hard you try to get rid of the message you won't be able to believe

The ad's high jacks the app and makes it impossible to use. Being sick of this in the ad free version I just decided to pay the $4.99 for the ad free version which on Google Play store it didn't specify if the fee is a one time fee or monthly fee. Also after paying the full version fee I have the same issues and the same app so nothing has changed so I'm wondering what I paid for cause I still have the same app including the ad's. Also I can not find any way to contact Mirmay or cancel this.

The option to "play", "download", or "cast" repeatedly interrupts the process of surfing the web. App automatically opens tabs. Seems nobody even cares about fixing any part of this app. I've been having the same problems for awhile now. Finally deleting.

This app used to be so so good I absolutely loved it but the download option automatically keeps popping up if there's multiple videos or gifs on the site you're viewing so you end up accidentally downloading the ads instead of whatever it is you're trying to watch it pissed me off so much I finally uninstalled it..... And I really really didn't want to! 😤😡🤬😭😭😭

it's more like an add downloader, it likes the advertising, but it turns off for videos, or fools you into thinking that you are downloading the video and then you have an advertisement, tried various platforms, still not much, the downloader in chrome catches more, when it recognizes it as a video, but sometimes it thinks the video is an advertisement, will keep looking.

Used to work great. Now; so many ads pop up that I can never get to the site, the screen goes black and starts spazzing out anytime I try to view ANY video, and the keyboard won't pop up half the time. Horrible app. Save yourself the headache and dont download. Look for another app.

Using it for free is annoying because ads will pop up every time you open a new window. Paying for the upgrade makes the app unusable. After upgrading I could no longer download videos or open new tabs. I've tried contacting the app support for over 2 weeks and got no responses.

After upgrading to ad free version, the apps kept asking whether I wanted to download even when I first visited the website. But when I went to the video which I really wanted to record, it stop asking and provide no option to record. Really frustrating. Should have just sticked to free version

I've been using this app for 4 years and it's the only app I use. The only reason why I give it 4 out of 5 stars is because sometimes when I try to download videos, it downloads the ad instead. Another problem is that if your phone turns off, it takes you off the current page you were on and brings you back to the menu.

The app is actually very good and i haven't really had any of the issues i'm seeing in the other reviews. the only issue i've had is that i open a page to one video and the download button pops up but if i move on to another one i cant get the button to pop up without closing and reopening the app

This app is very useful, simply because, you have the opportunity to browse the internet in safety. Everything is private and secure and all tabs are closed after closing the application. No downloaded data is saved to your phone's gallery which makes this app totally different from the others. I would most definately recommend this app to anyone that wants to browse in safety and security. A job well done to the creators of this app. Its my #1 recommendation to anyone else.

The old version was really good and I used it for years. Unfortunately my phone underwent a software update and the older version was deleted. This new app made me repurchase the Ad free version with no way to restore my previous purchases and on top of that, it no longer downloads videos as advertised.

*update* uninstalled this app 7-10 days ago and reinstalled it, hoping that it would work beautifully like it has for so many years. NO-GO 🤬 It downloads a video but its not accessible, AND its picture is extremely dark This has been my all time favorite app for years, n now it goes to straight up BS! Pop up box is almost nonstop for some reason and the search engine closes soon as u try to type. Uninstalling for now but will try again in a bit. I got faith in u yall to fix it n be back to #1

bad app. i deleted the original version, only then to get it back later when i tried to download it, the version was different and to top it off adds popped up frequently while i was searching for videos. ever other second. they are trying to make u buy the add free version now. smh. 👎👎👎

Old version was the BEST. Previous issue of this app was such a great but of kit, quick and easy to use. In May of this year it updated to this new build and quite frankly its now just a "same as" browser. Bring back the old version please, that was the one that essentially was successful. Uninstalling now.

Fails to export videos to the phone memory - goes through the motions but does nothing. The pop up to download videos, does not appear again, if you cancel it or select play. Guess I should have tested this app more thoroughly before paying for the premium version

Phenomenal app never lets me down and always trust worthy. Could do with a few bug fixes such as disturbances from the constant ad pop up and delayed user face... Otherwise I have no complaints perfect app and we'll keep up the good work with the quality.

It is extremely easy to overlook just going over apps but anytime it sees a video it automatically relentlessly asks you if you want to play, download, or share. And theres a lot of pop up ads while I'm tryna get off but other than that ya

upgrading made it..... worse?! now that there are no ads, no window pops up when I select a video or file to download. There's also no way to go back so now that I paid $4 its basically useless. Thanks.

It used to be a good app but ever since the update about 6 months back it would ask me if I wanted to download every video I tried to watch and when I tried to download the video it would be a ad it was downloading.

Brilliant app,but only getting 4* because the free version doesn't allow to import several files at once! And i don't underestand why the ad free version is $3.25 when the free one is ad free as it is?!

Disappointed. Ever since that update to kode I can't view any of my downloaded files be it video, audio or a document. With solving that issue a new app is openend. How can it tranfer back my files from Kode to Downloader back. Please solve the issue
