Private Message Box : Hide SMS

Needs so much work!! Gs10 Plus It still duplicating contacts, it does not give me an option to delete the duplicate contacts. When I import a contact it's still shows up in the regular text. The messaging text format is extremely old and outdated I've seen this type of text almost 8years ago. If I send a picture it keeps me on the regular text instead of sending me back to the pms. To be honest I don't feel 100 secure with this app.... I did set your PMB to default. I did all the setting.

Used to be a great app even with ads. With the latest update, a loud, full screen, video ad pops up every time I click on a message. Edit (responding to the developers): I get it, you need to make money in order to keep going which is why I'm perfectly fine with the app before where a permanent ad banner is at the bottom. But a full screen video ad every time I click on a message is just egregious.

To all users of this app. Unistall it and then install the version 1.2.138. You can find it in the web in the form of apk file. Until this version the app was superb steady and reliable. After that all updates made it with issues and crashing problems. I don't know why the developers made such a mess. Also have in mind to make the app after not to accept automatic updates. Thanks

Texting part is great, but Attachment button doesn't always give me the choices showing where I want to pull the files (pictures) from, instead most of the time it let me choose which message app I want to use to send attachments. If I pick apps other than Message Pro, I have to make that app default message app everytime I try to send a picture. The reason I pick other apps over Message Pro is that Message Pro doesn't always send my pictures while other apps do. Please fix those bugs so I can give a better rating.

I have been using this for a while then suddenly I can no longer send or receive picture messages. No MMS at all. It keeps saying "download failed". So when I see the notification, I have to switch my default messaging app to a different app to download/view the pic. Then switch back to this app once I have seen it. Same with sending pics. I purchased it thinking that maybe it'll work if I bought the entire app but still no luck. It's too inconvenient so I am going to have to find something else

At this moment I am not please with this app. A private contact is missing from the contact list. Therefore, all my messages associated with that contact are missing. I deleted the app and those messages were not restored to where they came from. Extremely upset. I am need help with this issue. I have contact you via email. I will do an update when I have my missing text messages back. Update: Tech support gave me the instructions on how to restore my lost text messages.

The 1st thing it did was to lose half of the conversation from the 1st private contact I entered, apparently gone for good. It was the only conversation lost. Not what I expected. I would have thought it might be the only one that would show up. The interface is a mess with the headers half covering the name of the contact.

Same problem some have noted. Worked fine until a few weeks ago. Does not allow me to see images sent by contacts and will not allow me to save images. All of a sudden no longer shows a notification icon and won't allow me to reselect it. Have reinstalled app 4 times with no improvement.

You can't enlarge pictures that are sent in a messenges pro, nor can you forward messages in messagespro. But you can in private message box. But it does hide messages. I've emailed about this situation several times and only got the automated response. It's been two since the last email and still no response.

Good potential but unable to use effectively because pictures and videos won't upload. When I try to attach pictures the app says the gallery is unaccessible. The instructions provided don't work. I have to switch back to my regular messenger app to upload pictures. Very frustrating. This is on a galaxy 7.

All of the "new" google play rules disabled the best and convenient app features. The app will not let me view the pictures or attachments from private contacts because there is no app permission to view/change/delete anything camera or gallery related. I'm almost ready to uninstall. Opening the app via the web is sloppy... don't want the button to say "open app" it should be a bit more discreet. The App NO longer hides the call log so I have to go back and delete the contacts.

This app is just so awesome It is small but highly customizable with some great features You can use the app as a calculator but will open your secret message box once you type in your pin I love the "shake to close" functionality. Once someone tries to pull your phone from your hand to rwad your messages, it closes automatically. Quick reply, hide notification with only sound or vibration, etc. Very good app for privacy purpose. It also has backup and block calls with secret call features

It works well. I would enjoy stickers and more emojis & an easier way to send pictures or videos. Don't get me wrong, I send pics and vids now but it feels like an extra step or two could be eliminated. But it is a great app if you're trying to be sneaky.

I upgraded and after some problems which the company resolved completely it is working perfectly. I am not looking for a huge list of features. I got what I wanted, a way to hold both contacts and messages private when needed.

I wanted to see if messages could be kept confidential. It seems that this app does the job well by hiding messages from certain contacts. To access the threads and conversations you need a password. This app handles all those complications simply. I am pleased with the cheerful interface and colourful theme.

This app is good but it needs to be updated or something. Some contacts won't import properly to the private contacts states there are zero messages but there are. Message bubbles pop up in notification bar constantly. Needs tweaking and when it does work properly it's a great app.

Good app. But I don't like the compulsion of using sms app which looks so ugly. Please make this sms app look better and appealing, so we can use it happily. Great application with bad looks. Suggestions: - Make UI better. - Notification customizations, like option to only LED and statusbar icon for the private messages. - option to hide either of calls logs and sms or both .

I had never received "phishing" text until I installed this app. They now appear daily. I upgraded to "Pro" version but still seeing a constant stream of ads. Can't seem to find any support for these issues and others.

You cannot use this app for some contacts while continuing to use your phone's native text app for other contacts. This app forces you to make MessagePro the default text app. That stops your native text app from working for *any* contact. This app defeats the very purpose it is intended for. Uninstalled.

So far it's been working really well for me. But for the last 2 days I've been getting a message saying messages cannot be sent. Even when I'm not using the app. Any time I open either part of the app just to read a response I get that same message. I'm hoping that I'm not losing messages because of this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Wasnt able to hide any text from certain contacts after making the contact as a hide away. Not really happy with picture messaging side of app as well. It separates into a whole other thread..... not quite happy overall.

I have downloaded latest version at 2019/09/18. Later, I found that It stopped hiding call log and contacts from system's contact list and call history.Although, It have biometric acces feature and I found it better but it's previous versions could hide call history and logs of private contacts. Please fix this problem as soon as possible.

Too much gd app. I really like it n lots of memories with this app. Please install for your privacy its a good version. Hey I can't use ring tone in private box how I can use the sms notification ring it's only vibrate.. In few days the app not work properly help me.. I use this app continuously since 3 years so how I can get the notifications tone?

Using the app sms to group stay stuck in sending so not sure if they are going out or not. Also from the private sms you can not send mms. And when tou send an MMS from messaging app it also stays stuck on sending. Regular sms messages go through with no problem.

I oaid for the pro version but that's not what I've been getting for almost 2 years now, I keep getting the free with adds version.. I've have updated the app over and over again with no results,.please help so I can get the pro version..

Doesn't actually function the way it's advertised. If you use this app the text messages still show up in regular SMS app. I don't want the messages seen. Maybe I'm missing the point of this app.
