Private Photo Vault

This is app deserves 0 star. You deceive us into exporting our photos and videos. After exporting both you won't be able to get your videos. Just dark thumbnails. You will try and try to import the videos back to your phone gallery with no success. You contact them and they have no clue to help you solve your problem. App developers if it's only photos it can store just let the users know and don't include in your description 'photos and videos'. Just deleted this wack app.

(Deleted everything.) So I decided to test this out. I downloaded the app. I entered my email. it asked me what do I want to add in, I added all the ones I wanted. Went to the next screen, now it's asking for card info. Right then I decided to not do it. So I uninstalled the app, thinking it'll just send everything back to my gallery. It completely wiped my device clean it all existence. They are nowhere to be found. "And I mean it" (NOWHERE) well u live and you learn.

I love this app because any video you save and you export and it'll still be saved in the app if you accidentally delete any video outside the app it's still backed up on the app I exported one video and kept saving it now I have five copies and it can go on and on and was crazy this is just a free version imagine if you pay for it other great features you will get

I use it for still mainly and it is one of the few secure apps (perhaps the only one) where you can reorder images within a folder.

Great app to keep private photos and videos private. I had a different photo locker for years, until it was no longer supported. This one is just as good if not better.

It's frustrating that the browser isn't letting me download OR transfer videos from my public library, for whatever reason. Other than that, it's a good app.

Great good app! Simple design screen layout and it is very easy to use the app and understand it, I like that! A+ app!!!

Gifs don't play on my device. Have same app on iOS but doesnt work as well on android. Wish I could bookmark or set home page on built in browser.

Very sorry for this app it works good but it takes too much space nearly 15 GB is using for few data. I am very sorry to the creaters who designed this.

I am unable to recover my album password although I tried many times according to to quidelines to add wrong password 5 times in a row but it never works can you please help???

photo vault is a very good app. my all important documents safe in photo vault. I like this app

The app is good for what it is. Around a year ago was when the app was best, but updates have been slightly ruining the experience, such as the new layout, no longer having the ability to set a certain website as a homepage, worse zoom (why did you get rid of what you had before? The zoom was amazing), etc. Some things should be added, such as the ability to make subfolders inside folders. Newest update broke a lot it seems. Can no longer open images on the built-in web browser.

I moved from an iPhone to an Android phone. The app on the iPhone is great. However the Android version has many drawbacks. It only allows 2 albums then asks me to upgrade to the Pro version which doesn't happen. I can only load 9 videos into an album. Some photos are just a rotating arrow. The developer needs to fix these issues fast as the app is next to useless.

I've used this app for a very long time and I don't regret paying for the full version. Has some issues, but truly one of the more reliable ones. One thing I've been wanting forever is the ability to make sub-albums to better organize my photos. I won't bring it down from 5-star but I truly believe this would set apart photo-vault from the rest!!!

Big Cons.. well on 1 end I forgot my password to my album and thought I had lost access to the files but found out that that all I had to do was click edit and then I was able to just delete the password and see all my photos. This seems like a huge oversight but someone would still need to get my first password. The even bigger issue that has happened 2 times now is somehow after importing the photos to the vault the next day they were back in my gallery and had uploaded to google photos !!!

Stores your photos and videos fine, as well as deletes them automatically from gallery (Not even to the trash, which is great for privacy). An issue I have with this app however is that uploading multiple things at once will put them in reverse chronological order. This wouldnt be a problem if I was just uploading a whole album at once, but when you are frequently uploading several photos or videos at a time, it makes keeping things in order auite annoying. This is not an issue on iOS however.

This is a brilliant app. It's so simple and intuitive but has every feature I would want built in. Upgraded to pro version because I was so impressed. The decoy feature is fabulous. I love the way it doesn't stick around on the open apps list after I close it. Importing pics couldn't be easier and the browser is just a bonus. It's not often an app exceeds expectations but this is the best I've downloaded for a long time (and I download a lot of apps!). Well done.

About time you updated this app. It works way better than the old one and more to it, with one exception. That is, you only allow the transfer or moving of file, photo, video, etc to the top 4 folders.. The other folders/ albums are not in the column. All the files /images show in Albums to view. Example: Albums 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I can only move a file, image etc to 1,2,3 & 4 And no option of auto delete from the phone folder it came from. I have to go find them again and delete them.

I downloaded and bought the pro version of this app on my samsung tablet expecting it to be the same as the iOS version, but then I noticed that the album names weren't showing and the thumbnails of albums were very small and only 2 - 3 album folders would show in the entire screen. Please fix the tablet compatibility of this program and I'll give this a 5 star, since it's a great app if not for that issue.

Excellent. I would just like to tweak 2 features tho the absence of these does not weaken my choice 2 use this app. The app needs 2 preserve date of initial photos when they were taken so that it wont be lost after transferring. At the moment they get transferred into a mess regardin tineline since it is only dependant on the DAY u transfer. Also, it needs to be able to allow one to choose which folder u want to transfer straight into rather than the generic one. Great app though.

How do I recover my forgotten password or reset?? * update- I uninstalled and reinstalled, as a result I lost all of my photos! Where did they go?? Are they on your server?? Can I get them back somehow?? Originally it turns out I was, in fact, using the correct password, but for some reason the app did not recognize it. I have purchased this app, and as a Pro version it should not have these glitches. Please address this message. I have emailed support and gotten no response.

The app requires you to pay to store more than a handful of photos. The app crashes constantly and half the images and gifs I uploaded are blurry or don't load properly. There is no scrolling bar so of you have more than a hundred photos have fun scrolling for 10 minutes. No backup or easy way to transfer between devices, odds are when you get a new phone you're losing your pictures or spending hours trying to find a way to transfer them. The update erased all photos

I had this app on my iPhone but this version of the app is extremely simplistic compared to the iOS version. This app is very limited and lacks basic features. It does what it says but you could find a better app on the market that does more. A list of features that should be implemented later: Video looping, Deleting albums, Changing where the photos are, stored (sd compatible). This is coming from someone who bought the ad free version of this app on both OS's. Please update this app.

Thought I lost everything on latest update, could create new folders, but couldn't move anything to them. Turns out that there's a problem with the biometric, as all functionality is available (including "once thought lost pictures") when authenticating using code instead. Hopefully biometric fixed on next update. Good app though.

Great while it works, it will lock you out of all your photo after an OS upgrade. There are 0 tech support available. The provided email is a sham & they will NEVER answer, this is after trying well over 20 emails. So use at your own risk, u were warned. It's a shame, a lot of potential but failed miserably at execution and lack of any technical or customer support, 1 star is way too generous. Shop around, there are many better options available. 6/27/21 lost all my photos after latest update.

Like other reviews have said, the latest update made it so much worse. For me, the main issue is that now when you try to import, rather than having the photos in chronological order with the most recent at the top, they're organized by a combination of day and month (and not even in calendar or alphabetical order). In order to import a single photo from today, I had to scroll through about 2/3 of the photos on my phone.
