It's been working fine for almost 2 months, switches gateways almost seamlessly. But: the app suddenly lost my credentials and wouldn't let me log out to sign in again. I had to delete and reinstall to reconnect, and I will have to do that on more than one device.
Worked flawlessly in China. Tried three different VPNs, and Private Tunnel was the only one which worked reliably. Connects instantaneously to VPN servers. Only minor downside is that if it loses the VPN connection for any reason, there is no notification; have to go into the app, break the connection and restart it.
Works well & keeps your connection private on public WiFi. Easy to choose different geographic endpoints. Connection retry is persistent enough that you can minimize time on an unsecured network by telling Private Tunnel to connect first, then connecting to WiFi, then signing into WiFi, and PT will log into the VPN as soon as it's able to.
Works great and is fast. I have used the paid version for many years and it works great! I stream audio and video thru this and no problems. I watch direct tv, you tube, Pandora, peacock, and things like zello, EchoLink, and other ptt apps, with no problems at all.
I cannot understand any of these negative reviews. Private Tunnel is the easiest VPN I have ever used. If you can't figure out this one, just don't use a VPN. The negative reviews must be written by neophytes or competitors. Additionally, I sent them a message prepurchase and they responded very quickly. I have no reservations recommending this VPN.
simply doesn't work aceept give you a false sense it is. Not one thing I connect to is not able to see exactly where I am. My bank will not allow me to transfer funds between my own accts. I have used private tunnel several years. I have also contacted support several times. They see no issue. In the beginng it worked. Apparently they haven't kept up on technology because for a year and a half it hasn't functioned. I know private knows what's going on I would try Nord or others. At similar price
Unable to Login! Since the update where the private tunnel service was removed from the main app, I haven't been able to login. I have a yearly subscription and I can't even use the service I'm paying for. Ridiculous!
This VPN is great!!! It's a fast, secure, and no-log VPN. I use it for playing Battlelands Royale and it's fast enough. But it only missing one option; An "Kill Switch" Thanks for your VPN app!
Best VPN in the world....Just try using OBFS PROXY OR OBFS ALTERNATIVE PROXY in setting. and boom!!! For windows try with "TCP" in protocol setting. Only then it will connect and then change it to OBFS PROXY..or you can use hit and trial. Which one work for you.
The worst experience I've had with a product. They stopped the service without any heads up or any sort of communication, and refused to extend it while I was looking for a replacement.
Great app. Love Openvpn's contributions to all connections. Great connections and even speeds good for download the updates smoothly from Google Play when other vpns couldn't. I have to uninstall it for storage because I couldn't pay for it due to payment method issues. I hope that you could still as good as currently to be here when I am back.
App doesn't allow you to log in. Perspective: I store all my passwords in a manager so my credentials are not mistyped or wrong. The app just doesn't work properly. Now I use standard OpenVPN app. It is April 2022. I still can't use this app because it won't log me in.
Doesn't work. I can't login. App show that password is incorrect. Portal does not send recovery email.
I paid for 3devices but not work at all.. Then I sent a message to them and they said they can't doing anything because the provider has blocked the application Soooo funny this false vpn need another vpn app to open it
I dont do google play reviews but this app deserves it. It is completely free, it works super well for what I downloaded it for (school wifi blocking apps) and I the best part is I haven't even encountered an ad.
Do not work in Russia. Can't connect to any server. Please implement some changes, maybe it's connected with RosComNadzor recent activities. MacOs App works correctly.
It works well, but if your password is long enough, then the mobile app doesn't login even though the windows app does.
Good product. Just don't ever seem to be able to download play store updates when connected to the VPN.

Android phone lose connection automatically and also not working last 3 days it doesn't connect any server
keeps crashing. keeps showing error unable to authenticate. please login again.
The notification shortcut to pause/disconnect stopped working correctly after a recent update.
Its not letting any of my downloaded files show up. I uninstalled then reinstalled and its doing the same thing regardless
Garbage app, keeps saying authentication failed. Don't waste time with it. Find another VPN app

When it works, it works well. The problem is, it often doesn't work. I can connect to the servers pretty reliably using my cell connection, but when connected only to public wifi, it will not connect. The app is useless when I'm on a plane, or in a conference center with no cellular service, which has been 2 of the past 3 weeks. That is when I need the VPN most! I can't recommend this service at this point, and regret paying for a year of service.
