Great App.. But users beware, do not confuse the "Active time" counter or the Start/Stop button turning full as a sign your VPN actually connected. Only when the "loading..." label at the top of the screen changes into an IP address is when your VPN successfully connected. Wish these two indicators can be changed to reflect the status of when the VPN had actually connected.

Horrible customer service. They expect you to be a computer genius to help them troubleshoot issues. Biggest issue they couldn't solve was it didnt connect on start up about 50 percent of the time even though it was set to, and it was always the last program to boot up. Meaning, the programs it is supposed to be protecting are already up and running by the time it starts up. That's if it connects automatically. Big if.

The VPN app needs a lot of improvements. The app doesn't respect my choice to turn off the VPN. When I disconnect from a server and close the app, the app will automatically turn the VPN back on in the background without my consent. The buttons are unresponsive half of the time, sometimes I have to click a button three times for it to register. Half of the time the app won't tell me the IP address of the server I'm connected to. Although the app is mediocre, it's still usable.

I have been using this vpn for about 9 months. I had a few teething problems with connection through an android tv box after subscribing. Customer service was quick to reply when messaged. It has in the main been a good service. There has been the odd occasion when a server has timed out and disconnected but not often. If you want a cheap, reliable then this is one I would recommend.

Tried out free trials from several VPN apps. Some pretty pricey. This VPN was the only one that worked every time without issues. I had to contact customer support on a few of the other ones. Finally decided this was the one for me and purchased the full year. Give them all a try but I guarantee you'll eventually find your way back here. Great price and no issues.

The service is good. However the app says that there are a lot servers that are timeout, especially between 6 PM and 11 PM, I don't know if it is actually happens or not but it happens around that time frame. The service or the app could include more options like Stunnel, AnyConnect, double hop, things like that to be more customizable for users. Otherwise it is good, just give more options to the users.

good price. Easy to install. Difficult to see if it is really woking, there is no indication to see if it is really going to the correct pvpn connection. I have had two run v program to see the internet speed of which I am running on my computer to get accurate answer to what network private VPN is connected. there has been times where it says it is connected oh, but it is not. and I always have to double-check it and double-check it throughout the day to make sure it has held it connection.

Great service but the application has some issues. When connected to a VPN and trying to view the VPN server list the list is disabled therefore you are not allowed to view the list or change the server unless you disconnect from the existing server. There is no option to bookmark servers. And the vast majority of servers that support Netflix in different countries aren't labeled like they are on some other countries.hopefully this can be fixed in the next release aside from that they offer great support and I have no other complaints.

Works great for Android streaming boxes for Kodi and things like that . It says though that it protects your phone too but I guess u would have to keep it on all the time which is a little much! Should do both without having to turn on when u want to get online or whatever . Other than that it does work well for streaming that is my main use . Price is good as well.

I used it for a short while (6 mo), unfortunately because of financial issues, I had to stop using it. I did a lot of pricing comparison and I found PrivateVPN is the cheapest of all. It works on Netflix too. I used the 3-month package, because it was what I could accomodate with my little money. No other VPN give 3-month package like this one. It was the best I have experienced. If things don't change and I get financial stability in the future, I will go back using this again.

The app no longer works on my Chromebook. It has not been updated since January 2021, so perhaps this is the problem. All of the servers have a red "timeout" against their name, and nothing will connect. It does work from my laptop using the app downloaded there (Windows 7), but on the Chromebook nothing is working. So there's nothing wrong with the WiFi. Very disappointing. It was great for a long time but now does nothing, and I still have 16 months subscription remaining. Very poor show.

Started out great, 4 months later, the app won't connect to a server and if it finally does Netflix realises and doesn't work. Android phone - doesn't work at all. Google smart TV - used to work for around 3 months (even though it was very glitchy.) The app would not turn off or change server so had to be force closed every time. Google Chrome cast with Google TV - worked for 3/4 months now just doesn't work. (Connects to a server but Netflix knows I'm using a VPN.) Spend extra go elsewhere

I've had a good experience with this app for the past two months and I decided to renew the subscription. As of lately, Netflix has picked up that I'm using a VPN and I'm unable to watch the content I was watching. If you guys could assist, that would be great but I'm disappointed this time around. If I had known, I would've just switched VPN providers.

So far so good!! I use it on all my devices with no issues except a few here and there, (as to be expected with anything in life.)which disconnecting, then reconnecting to a different server usually solves it. I like to stay closer to home and choose more 'local' servers. To the creators: thanks for the app! 😁😊💖😹

Excellent! Full of options. Many countries. Completely easy to use. Servers are always great. I use it for Netflix, ufcpass, Amazon prime movies, and banks! Yes.. My accounts have security access limits and when you are traveling or stuck with the covid lies and can't travel, this is a great asset to allow you to keep your life on check despite the world being brought down. So I gotta give it 5 stars for price, packages, promos, and usage! Definitely a must. I got a 2 year subscription. 🤗❤️

The app works great but the people running it are dishonest. I always sign up for 3 months at a time and never once had to cancel to prevent being charged. Now all of a sudden they have set a default auto renew that i knew nothing about and refuse to refund me for the renewal, even though i cancelled right away and contacted them right away about the mix up.

I have paid for 3 years. First year the connection were good and fast. This (second) year, it's slow and keep loading. I never have problem with the PC version, but this app? Tried to connect with different server and still slow/won't even connect. I've been having this issue for 6 months and it's getting worse.

This isn't a bad VPN even though it's a huge battery hog!!! Its splash screen takes up alot of time when entering the app and there's no notification icon or widget to start a VPN connection so one must enter the app itself every time. Auto-connect upon Android restarting doesn't work. It unblocks BBC iPlayer & U.S. Netflix and it's speed when connected is quite good.

Easy to use and great protection. I've been using it now for 30 days. I just renewed with a great Black Friday deal for 36 months. Not as many servers as some but I've never experienced any major issues. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the more expensive services out there. Since the latest update and redesign the stability problems are gone. I've updated my review to 5 stars. Thanks PrivateVPN!

It's a solid app but occasionally shuts off for no reason, so you'll need to manually reconnect it. I like the windows version much better. I wish the app did a better job of running in the background on my phone. There's also been a few times the app froze and wouldn't open. But overall, this app is worth installing.

When it works it's Ok. But how can I make it work? The connection fails again and, no matter which server is chosen. Then there may be rather long period of stable connection. Until it suddenly ends and you have to waste an hour trying before switching to another VPN service.

So far so good. Got good deal for 2 years. I gave 4 stars because sometimes the IP detected not accurate as listed on the country IP. And I'd like to give input for mobile app, please make it like on desktop version where I can see the ping of each server. On mobile app I gotta click it one by one to check if the speed/ping good enough or not.

Support was swift. App hasn't failed me and I'm using it daily for work. Initially I used it for one month and then decided to subscribe for a longer plan. Only issue I had, however on Windows platform was related to an update that was mandatory but since it wasn't communicated I was blank hence it created a short panic moment as the login wasn't possible. The best part is that the support was almost instant and solved the issue for me in less than 24h. 30 minutes or so. I recommend you this app

I bought a 2 year license, and have been using it non-stop (except the last few months), and I can tell you right now that this is a terrible VPN program, the customer support for me was shoddy, and overall I was not happy throughout and stuck with it for mainly monitary reasons since I had already bought it. I'll be trying another VPN soon, I wouldn't suggest this company if you want fast, non interrupted, private internet browsing. Half of the time currently it doesn't work at all.

Google verification pops up everything2 to times you open a new url. Another issue is that for no apparent reason sometimes I can not get connected unless close the program and re run it and try 5 different servers. Thid occurs on all my devices with different OS. I have been many different providers and never had that many verifications. The app definitely needs attention. I would happily leave this comment and close my account if I get a refund. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Works OK most of the time. However it consistently fails to launch automatically on mobile version, despite being set to do so. A security app that you have to remember to launch by hand every day has limited usefulness.

I took the time to research multiple VPNs and like the is app. I wanted the 3 month plan but it always bumped to the 1 year right after my CCinfo hit purchase. Pretty shady. Luckily I was $7 short and card declined. Cistt service vsaid the3 month option is showing available no issues I think he didn't understand what kept happening so we ended call. Right after I paid the extra $6/ month ajcwehvw another express app. Theirs is awesome:)
