Regulations and fish information are powerful parts of the app. Not going to leave the house without it, I came across several species at our local dock and wanted to make sure I stayed within limits.
Fishing every day. For an everyday angler, I can attest that the app is useful and handy. Congratulations to the creators.
I've never had such a problem trying to install an app. First off, when I clicked on the link in the email from Fl. Fish and Wildlife the page wouldn't load. I had to then use the option to open in firefox. Got it open. I had to sign in and create a password. I tried using my email, the same email I got notification of this app from and it said it was invalid. Then was able to sign in with FB, install the app but it never loaded. I then uninstalled it. A complete failure.
I want freshwater data also. This is a good idea for an app, but only helpful to me about 5 times a year given how often I fish in salt water.
The best time to fish on the boat. Have been successful many times with the hotspots provided in this app
Marine weather information is accurate. Accuracy is without numbers and this app has it.
Great weather. It's a lot easier to plan with the best weather and fishing times
Teach my child. My kids love all the features and tools they can use when we're out and about!
I'm only doing salt water fishing so this app is great for me. Suuuper easy to navigate and useful info.
Update information and register. Like the way this is currently, make it worth it.
As for the trouble of setting up the account, I had the same problem but it was because I didn't read correctly. I kept seeing only 2 boxes for info, there are three. 1- Enter your name 2-enter your email 3- enter password. If you do it in that order there shouldn't be an invalid email pop up.
Overloaded with ads and extremely expensive for what it offers. This is ONLY for saltwater fishing despite the ad I got from them through CT-DEEP clearly said "Access GPS hotspots in both Fresh and Saltwater fisheries", there is no useful information that relates to freshwater fishing. I have not uninstalled an app faster!!
Just like so many others, I too received an email asking me to download the Pro Angler app (which I did), but soon found that Ohio was not in the list of states you needed to choose from. Hoping that an update (SOON!) will correct that omission.
This app is so full of ads and annoying this is the first review I have ever wrote. 3 ads everytime you change menus...and once in the menus you can't tell what's info and what's an ad. Uninstalled instantly.
Information is weekly. This kind of updates can't be found anywhere else
Accurate weather. Use this for my regular weather app, works great.

I couldn't give it zero stars so....this app is junk. Nothing but Ads and is crashes constantly. Tried about 20 times and couldn't even get to the first fishing report without it crashing every single time
Easy to use application. I'm older and found this simple and useful.
Unistalling... Great idea and I'm glad to see the Dept of Game moving to catch up with tech. As of this point it doesn't have any freshwater data and I don't live on the coast so right now the app is kind of useless to me. Hopefully freshwater will be added and they send out and email to us license holders to let us know.
Free tools are great. Going to try the paid part
I hoped this app would give me fishing spots. The GPS map includes artificial reefs and other spots but it is very difficult to zoom in and pitch a spot. It is worthless to me.
