the ad kicks in very fast, takes longer to wait for the ad than to tune the guitar. After the ad plays it stays still for another 3 to 5 seconds before the close button appears. When the close button does finally appear it's way too small and offset to the edge of the screen making it entirely impossible to click. It literally forces me to click the ad, then close the browser to return to the app.
This app is exceptionally easy to use for both the experienced and the inexperienced person tuning of guitar. It basically just guides you by showing you exactly what note you're playing and letting you know how far off of the true note for each of the six strings you are. Just my opinion but I like it and you will too so use it!
I was using the app for maybe ten seconds before it cut to an unstoppable add. I believe I paid money for the app thinking that it had a chromatic tuner but nope, that's a SECOND payment. I'd recommend Guitar Tuna instead of this app, which does literally everything this app does but way better (and no ads that take up your whole screen and waste practice time).
Tuner is okay but the ad run-time has gotten out of control since I installed it. Had two wait nearly two minutes to get to the tuner tonight and accidentally clicked to go to the advertisets site twice due to the tiny close button.. over it.
This is my go to tuner. I've used mini apps over the years and for some reason I always open this one when I need to tune my guitar and I don't have my physical tuner. There are ads but they start pretty much right away and they go away for a little while so usually gets the job done after 10 seconds of waiting
It has a lot of types of tuning. I primarily use it when I cant remember how to tune something like drop C. I dont mind watching an ad for temporary use of one of the specialized tuners. Update; because I hadnt used this app or even played my guitar in a long time, come to find out the tunings I use no longer even require watching an unskippable ad beforehand to access it. A lot of the people complaining about adwall are over reacting to high Hell, I havent gotten a single one using it for free.
Works perfectly, as advertised. I love the old-timy look. -40-+40 dail is Kool however 🧐 the ads pop at the worst moment 📯. The ad's aren't the problem, its the timing of the ad. I get it 😶 its a fee app y'all gonna payday. Do it at the beginning or the end. Don't run the ad 3rd 🎵 note In a tune. The ap loads perfect then 6E-5A adadadadadadadad
Just love the way the app I use the app to tune my accoustic Guitar. But I don't like the way it picks background noises when tuning the guitar. I would have given it a Five Star ⭐⭐ but let me keep two to myself until the issue is been resolved. 😉😉😉
This app is way better than my other tuners, so now Pro Guitar Tuner is always my go to. This tuner is spot on, give it a try, (must be tuned in quiet areas as the app will pick-up all noise) Rock on.
4/27/20: Been playing for about two years now and this was the first tuner I ever installed. It's great, does exactly what I want and it's crazy accurate. There's one ad that pops up and then I can keep tuning. Totally okay with that given the time put into the app. Very great, no crashing, no ridiculous advertising. Love it. 5 stars easily 👍 5/23/22: Two years later I return to update my review. I have uninstalled this app, unfortunately ads have become ridiculous and it's not worth it now.
Just a minor issue. Even though I set one of the tuning as favorite it doesnt show up at the top and need to scroll down. But other than that the app is a wonderful tuner.
This would be a good free guitar/ 12 string tuner but the ads pop up mid tune which makes me not use it. Before or after, I would get. But right in the middle? That's frustrating. There are better actually free apps available.
very precise. Awesome amount of different open tuning options or instruments and rare instruments like octave mandolin. I have been using this daily for a long time. it would have to be a great tuning app to be able to replace this one for me.
The ads are ridiculous... One keeps trying to force me to get a different app and there's nothing to do but wait out the timer, click on the ad about 3times, then you can finally exit.
Hate the ads, but I've been playing 36 years and this gets the truest tone with easy UI compared to the other 5 or 6 apps I've tried. I didn't even mind the ads that much, devs gotta get paid too.
It's actually an exceptionally good tuner, I like its features been using it for years. The advertisements are a bummer but you can get around them pretty quickly. It's a great app. Thank you, #MoldyMarvin
I use this app in work as a music teacher. Its quite good. Its helpful to put your device on airplane mode before you use it to avoid ad interruptions.
This is the only one you will want. O complicated. 100/ percent old & new school. Unfortunately, 1 drawback is they want (a little) extra for bigger options $$ . I still got drop g for my Stones playing no extra cost I love it.
Has every kind of tuning you can think of raised, lowered, major, minor ,opened. Almost no ads. One can stop them almost immediately. Very accurate.
Tuner has always been great, but the ads are f@ all.. sure you want to make some $ as a free app, but my screen gets hijacked by this damn thing every time I try to use it. Every time I touch my screen after the ad kicks in it forces me over to the Google play store to download tik tok.. and it happens over and over and over and over again. I just uninstalled it because I can't get past the ad anymore.. annoying AF
Great app, I just hate how I get 2-3 strings in on tuning and an ad pops up. Tons of tuning options, standard, 4 string, 5 string, 7-13 string and even bass!
Ads exist to make your app money, not make it unusable. Needless to say the placement of ads is very poor. Was good in an earlier version but rather than using a banner ad they take the whole screen and slap you with an interstitial ad that you can't dismiss. In the time it takes to force me to watch a video ad, I've already tuned my guitar on another app. With this revelation, I'm uninstalling and moving to my other app.
This is the best tuner app ever! Unlike most other apps, you have access to any and every tuning option with just one ad. The only real problem i have is the ad that pops up at the start of use. It never loads right away, instead it shows up while you're in the middle of tuning. Besides this single ad, however, this app is perfect and is definitely worth a download!
frustrating. need to move the part of the touch screen that directs you from the tuner. Everytime!! my thumb inadvertently hits it while I'm, holding my phone, trying to tune. Most of the time I have to pluck the string numerous times before the app recognizes the pitch. I have found a much easier to use guitar tuner app. Thought this app was good at first, because it was way better than the previous one I used, but it still needs work. I will keep downloaded, to use as a verification tool
Literally the best investment I have ever made. It is low price and accurate. The options are clear and easy to understand, the tuning system, as well is clear to understand. The ads are short and do not spam. You don't need to pay for good features, such as different types of tuning standards and keys. It's such a pleasant app that i bought the full version! Update: I've tuned 2 overtuned guitars back down to normal with ease because of this app.
It's pretty good. Wish I could use alternate tuning presets without subscription....I mean.....it's really not the kind of app that I need to use very often. Maybe once a week. It needs to offer much more to warrant a subscription price. However, for what it is, it works very well and I enjoy the audio strings to tune by ear to if I so desire.
There is a glitch with the app, it cannot be turned off when not required. I have to totally power down my phone to turn off the app. It's quite good at tuning the guitar and I would love if it it was able to identify musical notes and determine the notes and or chords used in a piece of music. I would like to be able to jam with other musicians but sometimes it can be humanly difficult to determine the chords they are playing by the human ear it would be great to have a app that could do this.
Only had it for a day but so far this is the best tuner app I've tried. And I've tried a lot of them. Other apps only allow for standard tuning in the free version. I tuned with a capo on 3 and to open g and it worked perfectly. I read the complaints about the ads but I haven't had any issues yet.
