I love this app not just because it takes really good photos but as the description states, it's a real HDR app that takes a 3 bracket set at EV -2.0, EV 0 and EV +2. It does a nice job merging the shots. Here's my workflow: Use your phone's file manager to create a folder you want to output the app bracket images to. In the app's settings, set the output folder you created Use the app on auto HDR mode to take the exposures. Connect your phone to the USB port of your computer and copy all the bracketed images. You can tell the image sets but the file number and normal, dark and light within the file names. Load the bracket set into Aurora HDR and tweak it to the way you like and you now have a superb HDR image. Developer: Please add the ability to output the bracket images in RAW format and your app will be the ultimate Android HDR app!
Excellent HDR pictures. This is not so much for snapshots of friends or cats, but for lush, arty still pictures taken with interesting, contrasting light. To get the most from it you should think about odd and beautiful lighting such as at the golden hour or shots with sweet, otherwise intrusive artificial lighting. Then at the end tweak the overall brightness and tint. Very cool. Skys and clouds are sometimes weird, but most extremely contrasty shots are beautiful.
As promised, it takes hdr images using multiple exposures which you can manually control. However, I've only given it 3 stars because it only takes photos in 4:3 ratio which is disappointing. No option to change to 16:9 anywhere.
Very pleased with this app, it generates very nice HDR imagery if you can keep your phone perfectly still. However, the app is no longer supported and the contact email did not work when I tried to report the minor bugs I found.
Does not take good low-light pics, but when there is much darkness and light (like dappled sunshine), this cam ap is great. Works well for interiors in available light situations.
I used this app for so long it's second nature. Recommended to me I was not disappointed when I changed phones over the year. Consistent quality.
this is great app. I've used it for 5 years. it's too bad that file names are not modifiable so that they use dates instead of sequential numbers.
All I get is a black screen when trying to open a photo with app. Tried to email from your help link and that didn't work either
I use Pro HDR Camera on OnePlus 5 and I am really happy with it! It works the way I expected it. Thanks to the manufacturers of the app!
Simply takes great pics by bracketing and combining images to get enhanced result. Image is adjustable also.
great app, but it has stopped working on pixel recently even after googling around to find fixes.
Locked up on me several times, unistalled it and tried again. Had thia app for 4-5 yrs with no problems.
Good pics but won't save to SD card and it's a bit buggy with folder management
Only good hdr apo, actually compiles 3 photos, doesnt just crank up the colors like bad hdr apps do.
very different from its iOS version. I was a big fan of it. Pls update to something similar. Thank you!
Doesn't save to SD. At this point the app is quite dated.
I have found this a great app, always a good result for my photos 📷 😀
Does not work with dual camera phones.
very easy to use, great pictures.
Been using it for years simple and dose the job right
Needs a new interface badly.
Great for high quality pictures
it works for my Note9, needs an update tho
Great app with awesome results!
Please add ability to use SD card
I have not had any photo app perform and take photos this well
long term love i have used it for a few years and love it!
Great. Colour and richness are exceptional
Best in Android. Please update!
This is the best HDR camera app I've used. It takes three pictures of different exposures and merges them incredibly effectively. Some HDR apps aren't HDR at all, they just take a single photo and tweak the lighting settings to make it look like HDR. Pro HDR has improved hugely over the years. Whereas you used to be able to see that it was multiple images overlaid when you zoomed in close, you now I can't tell that at all as it matches up the images very precisely.
