I love the concept, and I'm already making use of the sample decks shown in the app. However, I have some issues I'd like to note: 1) I'm sorely disappointed that mobile syncing isn't yet available, since that's the main reason I downloaded, and 2) it's really awkward being unable to register directly within the app, since the website is not well-formatted for mobile devices. Once syncing goes mobile, I'll update this; until then, I'd say it's a promising WIP.
There are some good things here. I think the app is organized well. It is easy to build decks and the home screen can be easily talked to each user. I had a lot of trouble however with the ststem. It seems glitchy. Once you pick a format your stuck with it. After I made my first deck it wouldn't let me make a second one without automatically deleting the first one. I tried to log out and log back in. I accidentally typed in my email wrong. It then sent me to a sign up that I couldn't back out of
Information provided in autometa was very useful for a while but it's beginning to feel really dated. Many top performers aren't using cards from the latest set at all. The tool also offers little to no data on BO3 to my knowledge because there's no way to filter out all the monored BO1 decks. I feel there needs to be some sort of update for this to be truly useful.
I've enjoyed the way the app works so far. The interface is simple, you can trim it down to what format you want to build a deck for. I recently installed it and haven't battled yet so I won't comment on the feature. I think it's cool that you can build a deck around a card you select. The only thing I would change is to make it more noticable when you have a color selected in the search. The white light behind it is hard to spot. Maybe a bold outline around the mana icon would help it pop
impressive. I do wish we had a way to both make the card list more readable and informative. Rather than the card background, please allow a mono color background. It would also be nice if we could add additional columns like price, type, etc.
Overall, this app is fantastic. One feature that I would love to see added is the ability to use in landscape mode as many, myself included, use this on a tablet as a sort of second screen while playing.
I'm trying to register and there's an ad over all of the sections as I'm trying to type. I understand that people need to make money and advertising pays for things but don't inconvenience people who are trying to join with advertisements they can't close.
Loved it until I just spent 20 minutes trying to get the date format right and I have no way to analyze what has gone wrong. I don't know why this suddenly changed, but it's forced me to uninstall and stop using the site. If you can fix that then I'll reinstall and update the rating, but this is ridiculous. It's not like I'm a computer novice, I took a graduate course in XML. The fact that I can't solve this is very bizarre.
This app is a must-have with Magic Arena. It is much easier to check my live match data on my phone rather than switch tabs out of arena in the middle of a match. The tracker has spot-on analyses of all of my Arena data, including Vault Progress. It now allows for copying community and competitive decks directly into my decks for ease of use. I can't say enough about this app; it's a must have for the cost of 400 MB for images of cards.
Hands down, the most powerful and full-featured tracker for Magic Arena now works on my mobile phone. It can be used as a second screen for your Magic Arena. Follow your collection, decks, gems and gold, match results and events (drafts/sealed). Unique social feed to follow your friends progress. Updates frequently with new features aimed at serious players.
For some reason it no longer updates my stats. If I go on my computer my stats are correct, but on the app they are very old. If there is a sync to mobile button I can't find it.
Cannot save decks on the Android mobile app. A message pops up saying "Please, Authorize!", even though I have registered my account and have the desktop program running with a token. I will give 5 stars if this is fixed.
So janky. Can't change my avatar and can't type in a card name in the avatar selection page. Can't search cards by anything other than card name. Can only select one colour or ALL colours in card searches. Can't save decks i create without a prompt about "authorising" which it doesn't tell you how to do. And the deck delete button doesn't ask if you're sure. This app needs a LOT of work.
Having issues with signing in with Google, progress sync, understanding what everything in the app means and recognizing that making decks in app can get overwritten by your game sync, but still a good app. 5 stars.
Awful app in any sense. The registration takes you to a non mobile friendly webpage then it doesnt even use the name you set. Plus because of its site that it makes you use to update anything account related you cant change said nickname nor can you have it connect to your arena account to display stats. I wish i could rate this a 0 out of 5.
Pull this app from the store until yall can get it to work. Constant updating api won't load card images its a mess.
After reinstalling twice and making sure my account on arena is set to the right email it still says my account is invalid. I cannot connect this to MTG arena. I was excited to use this for deck building. Well, I would register on your website, but ads block the register button.
Amazingly usefull for new and veteran players allike. God bless whoever made this. I higly recomended to use it with the tracker app on the pc. Ill try to support this guy on patreon, please everyone do so as well. All features work like a charm.
Updated my rating as designer got in touch immediately to see what my rate of 3 was about. Great to see notice is taken and i hope my comments make sense. Im aware it could be that I'm just a newbie . My original rating .. im new to MTGA the app is a useful tool to see how my deck is progressing but Im fairly new to the game & the language & processes are new to me. So a FAQ or explanation of how to use different elements the app would be useful. It may just be me being a bit dumb
Potentially a 5* app when mobile syncing is added, almost useless without. Lots of detailed info for anything you'd need to know from arena.
The only reason I downloaded this is to be able to add randoms I play against on mobile. After a frustrating 45 minutes trying to wade through the annoying pop up ads in order to register and scouring the app for the info I need, I come to find out that you can't sync up your mobile MTGA to this tracker. So in my opinion it's useless. Maybe someone who wants help building a deck can use it, but I'm gonna hard uninstall after I post this review.
