PRO TREK Connected
This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth(R) v4.0 enabled CASIO watch.
Pairing your watch with a smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience.
The PRO TREK Connected app also simplifies certain watch operations by letting you perform them on your phone screen.

Even if an operating system has been confirmed as compatible, software updates or display specifications may prevent proper display and/or operation.
PRO TREK Connected cannot be used on Android feature phones with arrow keys.
If the smartphone is set to power saving mode, the app may not operate properly. If the app does not operate properly with the smartphone in power saving mode, please turn off power saving mode before use.

The is an inexcusably poorly designed app. There isn't even any way to exit the app without entering "settings" and forcing it to stop. Both the app and the documentation are nearly useless garbage. Shame on you, Casio!
Easy to use. Makes configuration of the watch so much easier, not it is complex on the watch.
The Auto Light setting keeps getting turned off automatically after 6 hours of it being turned on (yes, I tested that), without me changing anything on the watch or the app. Note that this option can ONLY be turned on using the app, not on the watch itself. Even more annoying is that this is the 3rd time I've posted a review for this app stating the exact problem. My comment keeps disappearing for some reason...

I installed and reinstalled this app several times. I never received a prompt or command to pair the watch to my phone. Spent a long time with tech support, verified all software and settings on phone were good. Rebooted and pushed a lot of buttons to try to get it to work. Lowest rating on it for me. Disappointment, I have worn Casio for years.
The app is ok-ish (not always responsive), but there is no way to make the "Please activate Bluetooth" message go away, unless Bluetooth is always turned on (and I really don't want it to be so)
Tried several "smart watches" and found that the advantages were more than outweighed by the need to charge so often. The Bluetooth connection to my Pro Trek is great and I don't have battery warnings ever again!
still not stable. have to uninstall then re-install to every connection on my Samsung S9. if the connection is stable, I think the application is good. As the application provide a easier way to configure the watch.
Route Log ("Log off" operation) fails and activity is still in a state "measuring". If you press and hold the lower right (Altimeter) button again to stop Route Log, the watch wants to start a new Route Log (activity). And another bug exists: you cannot share activity if "Activity map display" in the app settings is off. Nothing happens if you press a button on the bottom of the activity screen. And it would be nice if altitude calibration is also performed when the user manually triggers time adjustment (pressing B button on watch according to operation guide ->"Triggering Immediate Time Adjustment".
So far this is a worthless app. The app and phone lose sync constantly. I was hoping it would have use when I am hiking in the mountains. DON'T place your safety in the hands of this app!
App keeps shutting down not very good thought this would have been better than this I have it connected to my casio prt 50 and when I click on guide it usually shuts the app down using an up to date samsung smartphone as well. And so confusing to use with mobile .
Using Pixel 4a, altitude auto correction doesn't seem to work. Just has a screen that says I have to set permissions to High Presision. Dont know how to force a sync.
Watch updates are malfunctioning. Time is always 6or so hours off and the date keeps changing sporadically

Garbage. When trying to log data it will force close. I spent $120 for a plastic anidigi watch with a non scratch resistant crystal,only 100m water resistant piece of junk with a garbage app
I just got the Casio prtb70 on 2-13-21 I have a Galaxy A11 phone and I have had no problems connecting the phone to the app and the app and phone both work like they should. Thank you Casio.
I like the app but it needs improved. Looking forward to enhancements and updates.
I used to love it, now it will no longer connect since the latest update. PRT-B50ft 1cr. Help casio.

Not sure if it's the watch, the app or both but my PRT B50 just keeps randomly resetting itself to Thu 1st 1st. There is no pattern to this and isnt a particular thing that triggers it and sometimes it goes for over a week with no problems and other times it can happen several times a day. I have called the Casio support line and was told that "this can happen occasionally and you just need to reset it" but surely it shows theres is an issue. I wouldn't recommend the watch or the app to anyone ☹
