Pro-vue Mobile v1.2

Its a battery hog. Had to restrict battery usage. However, its been working pretty good last few days. Ill repost in 6 months to see where we stand. Update. Reinstalled this app once again. Been working great this far. No hickups, battery draw. Nice work getting this app to work all across the board. Update: it's been working great on my new phone. No issues. Once in a great blue moon i need to stop the program and clear the cache to reestablish connectivity to my cameras. Great app!!

No issues so far, easy to connect, use & view. Loads quickly with no problems. The app allows you to not only view but receive push notifications from the NVR. It's preforming just as needed. Make sure to pause or disconnect VPN when using or you won't be able to view depending on the provider. Wish vpn would be part of the app....

Downloaded this app on my galaxy tablet with no issues at all. Took me about 5 seconds to set up, with the slick QR scan, and my cameras were showing beautifully in 4K. I have to say for an app that is straight to the point it works seamlessly. Not to mention how great my 8 camera PROvue system works and gives me the peace of mind I think every one deserves. Backstreet has an outstanding team. Shipping was quick and they preprogrammed my system so I just had to plug and play.

I've had considerable difficulty using the app, even with a good measure of help from the CS people at Backstreet. A good user manual, written by an English as first language tech who actually knows how the app operates with the various cameras. Also, speaking of English as a first language, many of the various phrases and the few instructions that do exist are often not the normal English nomenclature and/or confusing. Finally, nobody knows how to get the 4K PTZ cameras to park on a user scene.

Like some others, works great on my home wifi, but offline as soon as I switch over. Tech support says call ISP. ISP says all good on their end. Big surprise. I have 2 other Backstreet systems that still work away from home on the Easyviewer Pro app. Why not Pro-vue? Is it the new NVR or the app? Follow up: Figured out that the gateway default setting on the NVR needs to be changed to the router address. Would have been nice to have that in the manual or from tech support.

App works in ethernet connected network, but not out of network/wireless . Multiple sessions with vendor always end up with the issue being put back on me. All settings on dvr and android galaxy s10 match, but remote remains annoyingly unavailable. Have even tried google searches for other apps where users report exact same non-functionality of their app; no luck. I give up.

Very happy with this product! I purchased a Prokit4 U90MZ with 1TB harddrive. Loved the helpful videos and explanations of what they sell and why they sell it. I spent a lot of time comparison shopping and stumbled onto Backstreet. I'm handy enough to do the work and feel that the quality in the products I purchased far exceeds most others. Couldn't be happier!

Simple setup app to give you that additive plus to having security equipment. It's fun playing around learning how to work the functionality's and setting it all up. There's even visuals in the help that showed me everything in the app all I had to do was read it! That simple.

Intermittent and unreliable. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't, this is app is garbage for me. Might be useful for someone who doesn't mind having to uninstall from time to time and hope it works on re install...2k camera system from backstreet with an app that is worthless.

I have the Samsung S10. When I initially downloaded this app, it worked wonderful. The last month, it has been extremely slow, keeps kicking me offline and moving cameras has an extreme delay in them. Whatever has changed, please fix it.

App is good. Needs some way to adjusters motion for false alerts. Bugs will set it off as well as large rain drops. Also when going from color to b&w around dusk I occasionally get false alerts. Needs to have remote reboot in the app. Overall pretty good system.

Update: 10/27/21 App needs a function to lockout dates so that recordings are not overwritten. Users need to be able to save to a USB drive from phone while using the app. Not as user friendly as I expected. The best experience is if your cameras are recording 24/7.

This app is the best surveillance app I have used. Often times the apps are complicated or require an account but the simplicity of this app are what makes it a cut above. I have a Galaxy S10 and it's stable and reliable. I scanned the code for the NVR put in my password and its worked ever since. I travel a lot so an app that's reliable is most important to me.

App is excellet. It is working very well with a Galaxy S10. All bugs have been fixed. We have six cameras, and all load well when needed. Very happy with the app and camera system.

Bugs and fog set the motion/intelligence off as vehicle/pedestrian. Even with motion set to 2. But then at darkness/nighttime vehicle is not picked up driving up the driveway.

I use the app every day and it works well. An enhancement that allows the user to specify a time frame as well as one or more camera when using the playback functions would be helpful.

The device set up was fairly straightforward. I had an issue getting my camera set up, but tech support was able to help me. Now my dogs will never get into stuff without me knowing about it, haha.

Works decent if connected to the home wifi system. Doesn't want to connect or work when trying to view remotely through your phones regular internet access.

Terrible always offline to cameras! Opens app only when on wifi inside camera location. useless to use off location! Trch sipport at backstreet sirveollancr just tells you unload and reload app which does absolutely nothing.

App shows cameras are offline almost every time when opening the app. I have to force stop the app almost and reopen , then it works again. So annoying..

Not a great app. Slow and crashes. Their "super hardware" is average at best, and rarely if ever updated.

Adding a Cube camera via wifi unsuccessful. Instructions sent with camera are worthless. Unable to connect to device. Android. Fix the English of the prompts please. Hope support is able to resolve.

I would give 5 star if it worked correctly on Samsung 10+. Loads slowly, cameras freeze. Works fine on my old iphone. Something is wrong with app.

I have a PTZ 360 video camera, this ap cuts off some of the view from my camera because of the green bar on top of the screen of the ap on my cellphone. That's the only disappointment I have with this ap.

After this last update. Shows offline a lot. Only connects when on my WiFi. Anyone read these reviews? Would like to be able to roll back to previous version.

So far so good 👍🏽 With the replacement of the NVR and the tech support we were able to resolve the original problem (no notifications). Great job guys

This app needs to be updated to include local area wifi only use. Also away to troubleshoot connections and connection speed and delay issues

This app is the best surveillance mobile app I have used. It is so easy to get the cameras connected to it and the layout is just awesome.

Works great, I can zoom in and out and hear outside, all from my phone! Very reliable!

Some camera streams don't operate all the time. HD stream works but clear stream lower resolution has issues.
