A frustrating application to use. To edit any of the schedule stuff you have to hit the one spot that registers the touch on the +/- symbol.. This app is very unresponsive when navigating around. Please get a software validation person to test these things before you put a new version out.

I am so disappointed I chose this product. The app is as non-intuitive as I could jmagine. Programming adjustments are an unwanted exercise in self-flagellation. Then, my instructions to my four (4) thermostats appear to wander off seemingly at random, with a mind of their own.

Zero for me. Absolutely useless! App is extremely unreliable and always "offline" when nothing else in the home ever goes offline. Now the app doesn't even load anymore. Totally worthless!!

Way better than the old version! In the previous version, I remember connecting my thermostat to the app was a disaster, so I was kind of dreading having to go through it all again when I got the email saying they were releasing an updated version. Turns out though, after the thermostat got its update earlier today, I tried adding it, and I got it on the first try without even calling their support line. Maybe this was their strategy the whole time--set a low bar, then blow it out of the water?

Slow and clunky. They prettied it up from the previous version and slowed it down considerably. There is no longer the option to copy a schedule from one t-stat to another; a handy feature for those of us who manage facilities with multiple ac units. They also did away with the web interface which would have eased the annoyance of the phone app. There are also too many hoops to jump through just to set it up. Even tech support had difficulty until I solved a cryptic error message myself.

If I could give no stars for this app, I would. Admittedly, it was easier to connect to WiFi than the one it replaced, but other than that it's worse in every way. I can't set the temperature because it keeps reverting to the default. The temporary hold is useless. It doesn't interact with Tasker/Autoinput. This is without a doubt the worst "upgrade" I've seen since Windows ME.

The new app is a step backwards. When trying to set a schedule, the temp just jumps from 65 to 70, it impossible to set it to my desired 68 on their fancy wheels. Tried reinstalling app but performance is no better. Please let me just type my desired temperature!. I guess it's time to install a Nest, their app must work better than this. Had no problems with the old version.

This app does not work well. I cannot get it to run the schedule that has been set for years. If I change the temperature temperature either manually or using the app, it makes it a hold and won't go back to the schedule. The old app had a way to remove the hold that was very helpful. If I set a temporary hold and set the time I want it to be done, it always defaults to 7pm, and even then the hold doesn't go away. It's very frustrating. The old app was much better.

Lots of bugs to work out on this one. Probably should have waited to roll out the updated app. Couldn't migrate old account, had to create a new one. All stats were automatically reset, had to re-adopt stats to wifi and app. Scheduling feature doesn't work like it used to, no 7 day scheduling. Removed manual locations feature which is what we used to make "zones" at our business. Also can't find a web app, which we used before to make schedules. It was much easier make and copy schedules that way. I realize this isn't technically a commercial system, however before it worked well for a small to midsize businesses. Please roll out an update to fix these issues ASAP!!!

I am updating my rating from one star to 3. Initially, after several failed attempts, I was unable to successfully connect my thermostat to this app. I attempted a few weeks later, and it worked. So far so good. I had to go on my physical thermostat settings and delete the old wifi info, and shut off mobile data on my phone and installation commenced.

Once again, I am having to delete my thermostat from the app to re-add it because it is randomly not connecting... No option to try and update the wifi through the app or anything. Absolutely appalling design to have to start fresh, from step 1 to reconnect to the wifi. The only positive thing I can say is at least I didn't buy it. It came with my apartment and I will never buy anything connected to this brand in the future.

Nevermind the slow loading and app freezing during setup. Literally had to disable my 5Ghz network so it would stop trying to connect to it instead of the 2.4Ghz. Then after 2 hours of trying to get through everything, when it finally works the thermostat doesn't show up in the app. The physical thermostat is connected to the wifi but nothing in the app. They need to fix this.

Horrible!! Your App was marginal from the beginning. Trouble connecting with multiple Android phones. Then you change to an updated version. This version is even worse than the marginal version you started with. Found after install about a month or so the house thermostat was set at 0 (zero) degrees, all by itself. The house was 68 degrees. But your app shows a setpoint of 72 degrees. Not really sure what your software design team is seeing on their end. But user friendly or functional, NO!

I find the app more difficult to use than the previous version. We've also had multiple instances of the thermostat setting itself (no manual intervention) to a temperature other than what is scheduled, this includes it setting the AC to 0 degrees. Update: manually rebooting the thermostat (un plugging from the wall) seems to have stopped the system from setting the temperature itself. Would love to find a way to switch a thermostat from manual override back to scheduled set points.

app is super buggy, on my samsung, my work iphone, and on my wife's iphone. 3 out of every 4 times you select a temperature it just resets to the default, the 'scroll' bar of temperatures doesnt work right. very frustrating Update in mid-July. The app works better now, and it possible to actually select a temperature. Increased from 1 star to 2 star.

We have the thermostat installed in a weekly rental home 800 miles away, so remote access is important. We were forced to install the new app, which doesn't acknowledge our user info. If we want it to work, we'll have to drive twelve hours to physically touch the thermostat in order for it to work with the new app. This wouldn't have been a problem if we'd been able to use the old crappy app until we were going to be down there, anyway. Hope it's not boiling or snowing in there after a rental.

Thermostat is constantly showing up as disconnected on the app even though the thermostat shows as connected, and after restarting the app 10 times all of a sudden the thermostat is connected. The schedule won't run at the right time even though the thermostat and app have the correct times on them. If you have to reconnect your thermostat to new internet it is the longest and most annoying process. Worst thermostat I've ever had and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I've had multiple smart thermostats over the last several years, being one that is in the renovation business. This last project, an installer of mine recommended I install these thermostats for their online capability. I have yet to come across one, that on a constant basis, continually disconnects from the Wifi. I have 2 thermostats in this residence and both continually disconnect. What's even more surprising is that one will connect with the other being disconnected or vice versa.

DON'T BUY PRO1 THERMOSTATS! We have 2 thermostats in our house but the app doesn't work half the time. We had a storm come through and turned off our power and when it came back on our downstairs thermostat on the app would always say it was 71 in the house and it was set to 71 even though the schedule I have for it says differently. I tried to delete the downstairs thermostat from the app and add it back to maybe fix the issue but then I couldn't even get it back on the app.

A. G. u. May 31, 2019

Not sure the developers used the app. Changing the temperature schedule is a pain in the behind. It simply ignored the changes. You have to try over and over again until it's changed. Don't push 'run schedule' button once you are done. It will restore the default settings and you have to start over again. Once the schedule is set it will hopefully follow it. I won't touch it again. user = beta-tester

Hands down the absolute worst upgrade process ever. While every other app just upgrades seemlessly, this one requires basically a full reinstall, update to your thermostat, which then renders it practically useless until you realize the thermo needs to be reactivated to show up. This process took way to long and should have been done seemlessly in the background like every single other app in the history of INTERNETS...Ridiculous. I wish there was negative stars cause that is exactly what it would get..

No longer working The old app was basic and worked fine for me. This new one is non functional. It doesn't recognize my login, so had to reset that first and took one month to receive the verification code after multiple attempts. Then, I have to set up the thermostat again and it is not recognizing it. Very frustrating and disappointing.

This new app is complete trash. I can't even connect to my thermostat anymore because it locked up during programming and it no longer appears in my wifi list to finish setup. the previous app was great. The purpose of this thermostat was to be able to control I cant anymore. Update: I finally got the thermostat connected but the app is still trash. after looking at the other app for about a year it makes you wonder what kind of crack they were smoking to think that this is better.

I'm uninstalling this app until you guys know what you're doing... Your app is so not functional. Once it gets to the point of trying to connect to my 2G network, it just spins and spins on a blank screen. I've been trying for days to no avail. Yes, i followed all the steps as described in your instructions. Go back to the drawing board...

This thermostat(T855i) has more settings than the average user wants. Ex. Adjustable filter timer, staging satisfaction commanded by temperature not time. Temp swing increment of .1deg. The wifi connection is a little different since the thermostat has only 1 wifi module and no keyboard for input. During initial setup it must first connect directly to the phone. Once connected it works fine. I like that it shows if the AC is running or not.

Fair app with some flaws. When setting the time and temperature, if you don't hit the small icon just right you lose your change. Changes were easy to make in the Windows web app but for some strange reason Pro1 decided not to have a web based application. Bring back the web app PLEASE! The old web based app was far superior to the current phone app. This new phone app is terrible. I would rate much higher if it were easier to usw.

Galaxy Note 9 on T-Mobile with Android 10. This application is designed to control an Carrier HVAC system we spent thousands of dollars on. The controller as a stand-alone device gets the job done with a poorly designed UI. This application set up is generally difficult and is frustrating. I may complain at some point to the local company about this problem. I would not use anothet Pro1 product if given the choice in the future as they are all similar from the website. Not good.

After I get the thermostat onto my network, I try to put in the zip code, BUT I can't hit the final button because there's a progress spinner blocking the screen... When I get frustrated and restart the app, the thermostat (connected to my wifi) is not on my account. This app is maximum jank. The last time I had it connected before renaming my wifi, the temperature slider would jump around when I tried to use it. This app is a giant headache.

As of 6/20/19 still issues saving edits. If you change temp & hit "save" you get error about needing minimum 15 min time difference though you didn't change time, only the temp. App SUCKS 👎 Isn't a way to "save" temp changes in the schedule; after editing the temp setting it doesn't save the changes. if you hit - to close the edit screen it reverts back to the temp it was previously set at. This app is so irritating! I'm about ready to replace the unit with something much more user friendly!

App doesn't work. Tried to register my thermostat and it can't get past the first page. Connected to thermostat wifi, but continue button stays disabled and there is no way to complete registration. Edit: Thanks for the response, developer. Unfortunately that's not it, the app already had location permissions.
