The game starts out deceiving simple bit soon gets more difficult (and interesting). I was college professor, teaching statistical analysis and this game was a wonderful experience and review. I would certainly recommend it to even a beginner to the study of probability math as well as high school and college students studying probabilities as well as math majors.
Having majored in economics, I simply expected a fun series of probability puzzles, but this app is way more than that. It explains the basics of probability in a fun and simple way, and even offers excellent resources for those who wish to go beyond what the app can teach. Definitely a must have for those who are interested in this area of maths or are looking to brush up on their skills.
Extremely beautiful, meaningful, and valuable probability puzzles. If you are a student who is learning probability, or if you are a math (in this case probabilities) enthusiast, you will find this incomparably good. You will see lots of "classics", accompanied by other similarly engaging puzzles. Just grab a pen and several pieces of scratch paper. You don't need a calculator either. The program supports factorials and C(n, r) function.
Absolutely amazing. The math parser, is just phenomenal. I can actually see what I'm trying to give as an answer(logic) rather than just the numerical value. It's not just a refresher and probability learning app, but also a great place to appreciate the way statistics rules our world. One way to get to numbers in a natural way. Great job !
A great way to pass time and improve your math at the same time. The app is great in the sense that it has very well developed problems, properly sorted based on their difficulty and a descent UI. The only downside is addition of new problems happens rarely.
A fine range of problems (I'm a quarter into the serious set of puzzles). Some of the hints are above me but I've got onto youtube to find resources to help me understand the coupon collector's problem and the Expected value for the number of tosses to get two heads in a row. I'm learning a lot. Thanks to the author.
I'm stuck at "Getting serious" problem 31. I simply don't understand the task itself. You have a collection where you have N distinct objects and you draw a sample of size N from there. It means that you take the whole collection as a sample and the probability that given object will appear is 1. But it's not the right answer it says?
The app has a wide variety of puzzles related to probability. The questions are arranged wisely, starting from from easy combinatorics questions, all the way to more challenging concepts such as Markov chains, joint distributions, geometry and recursion. The hints are also provided quite wisely, such that they help in solving the question without spilling the entire solution. If one wants to have a good revision of probability, I would strongly recommend this app.
Very good puzzles. Great interface, for example you can answer in terms of factorials, fractions... How ever you were thinking when you solved the problem. And, the final level questions are both quite interesting and difficult.
Great app overall, but I made the mistake of thinking that the app couldnt read "/ " properly cause I thought the number above the hint was the correct answer 😅, it wasnt, just the approximate of my answer. Worked out the answers the old pen and paper way, and got the correct answers. Great app, been a while since i did probability questions, it was a great revision experience.
Really very good and tricky puzzles. Sometimes the hints are a bit bare but the questions are fantastic. The in built parser is nice but would be good to add the permutation/combination operators
That is a real storehouse af amazing probability problems with different difficulties! Besides, there are some resources to learn the topic. Just what I needed, thanks!
The learning curve is very nice and the hints are very good just presenting a roadmap to the solution and not the solution itself. I learned a lot while solving the puzzles and had a lot of fun doing so. What more do you want?
Really gets the brain working. I love everything about it. Only doing the 'easy' puzzles, already thinking the harder ones might be too much for me...
Fun and thought inducing game. Very enjoyable if you appreciate math. Also very good hints, they don't take away the fun but they make it easier. Noice!
Great app. Finished all in hours. Didn't solve the puzzle 14 and 15 in the most difficult level. Used computer to simulate for them.
You need a really solid foundation in your theory of probability to solve these questions. As such I found some questions difficult in easy. puzzle 21 was really trippy or perhaps poorly written as it specified that if voter 3 chooses c, then there is a 2/3 chance that voter 4 will also vote c. that's all that's written but it could also be that voter 4 that chooses c therefore 2/3 chance for voter 3 which is not mentioned.
The help that is offered sometimes is misdirecting. What is asked for in the problem can also be unclear. Some progressive stages of help would be better than snippy responses to incorrect answers.
Classic and new probability puzzles. Well-written, easy to understand, and challenging to solve.
From easy to challenging, and forces you to learn different statistical approaches. No ads.
I like the problems and the layout of the app. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys probability or logic problems.
The game is awesome!! Loved it. To the point hints and simple clean UI and 0.25 probability of seeing the add 😂😂! Awesome!
Serious fun and plenty of thrilling challenges!! Hints are much appreciated 😃 wish I could have more and more puzzles like these!
Love it <3 Simplistic interface and very Interesting games of probability , and please make more games like this for Permutation and Combination or Stats etc . lots of love to dev :)
Good to learn the basics of the probability. The given information are really useful and the hint provide more information about the current assigment. I will not show you the solution but the path to solve the exercise.
Entertaining. Puzzles require a math-oriented brain. Experience with combinatorics is helpful but not required.
Excellent work by developers. Great collection of puzzles which are very educational. A great tool for learning indeed.
Great educational game! Some problems have great hints that introduce beginners to cool ways/models to calculate values.
Lots of interesting problems. The topic might better be described as combinatorics instead of probability. Fun way to pass time on the train. Need paper for a few problems though. Some of the images don't show in the hints though, for example, in the hint for the second to last puzzle at the hardest level.
