Some of the bus routes around me changed recently (h22 and 110) and when selecting show route they would show the old route, and stops would say they had certain incorrect buses serving them but the upcoming buses would be correct. I checked countdown, which didn't have this problem. I found that after clearing out cache and storage and reinstalling, the app had correct info. I don't know which action fixed it, but it seems there is a cache invalidation issue in the app. Otherwise, great app!
Never accurate with the timings of bus arrivals even though they claim all information is provided by TFL. Constantly finding buses just not showing times only to turn up
Very handy app and usually very accurate for timings.
Easy to use app, like all apps it's not perfect but it's close. I am probably asking too much but could you have a way of easily identifying the return route bus stop or the nearest one going back in the opposite direction when looking at the details of a stop?
I appreciate that it is hard to develop an accurate app but the past month of countdown for the 81 bus route (particularly the uxbridge road stop towards hounslow) has been dreadful. Buses simply disappear from the app and reappear when they are metres away defeating the whole purpose of the application. Edit: If the data comes from TFL then my review doesnt matter. Thank you for your response, please do try to do everything in your power to improve it but i understand your hands are tied
Layout etc very appealing. Geolocation then saving favorites also well done App has a major design flaw. It shows *arrival* times for buses. No good if you are leaving from a busy terminus - eg Heathrow Central Bus Station. Cant get a list of next *departures* which is what most users actually want Also the journey planner can't find above stop for some reason Also - you can't use the stop ID to search in the journey planner.
it's a decent app and it works quite well, just a little unstable at times. I'd also like a feature that allows us to adjust walking time/speeds because I personally walk much faster than the app suggests leading to inaccurate travel times, and I'm others may feel the same or walk slower even, so being able to adjust that could really help time management.
Hit and miss: easy to set up but the bus times are supposed to be aligned with TFL and they are not. They are often 2-3 minutes out (important if you time catching a bus on this information), buses "disappear" off the system (even when arriving well in time for them) and sometimes they show buses that TFL don't show on the electronic boards. I contacted them and they just told me that they were aligned and aren't interested in.addressing glitches.
I find the app useful when getting around especially for leisure and education purposes. The journey planner is excellent to use. And in the recent updates, the countdown minutes have been improved as they're now small readable. I'm happy they finally added the bus stop I always use and their response.
No missing bus stops. I was only referring to the fact that Croydon tram stops are not included.
Not great anymore. It used to be so accurate. There was construction work around my area and there was a diversion. but thats stopped now and the buses are running and probus doesnt recognise that. Will need to use another app if they dont fix it. thought this update will be that - an update but its still the same.
Had a problem uploading the data base took a while but it's up and running again and I'm so happy. Its a brilliant app must admit I felt lost(no pun intended) without it .Tried some other Transport apps but none came close to this one. Brilliant to help you move around London.
Loved it Used it all the time. But tonight it isn't working properly it's not showing any buses and if it does it's showing the wrong time. --------- response to response, it isn't accurate with buses anymore multiple occasions. I am currently on a bus that your app doesn't even see right now!
Reliable app (more so than previous one I was using without the infuriating adverts that blare out and stop you using the app - hurrah!).Only downfall is that it doesn't show you where the bus is on its route, which would be a huge help.
One of the only London bus apps showing bus registration plates in multiple departures which enabke one to select the bus they want for advanced users. Also clearly shows what other buses you can change to by showing full route and other route ETAs in a user friendly layout. Foeger the other London bus apps if you are an advanced user.
Use it everyday for work, but busses sometimes disappear from the list when they're a certain distance away. They still turn up, you just gotta guess when. And now when loading the app I'm redirected to an ad.
Brilliant app. Does everything I need, from local map, to search by route, to journey planner. All nicely presented and easy to use. Just wish I could pay to get rid of ads.
This app fills a massive gap in Google Maps by providing access to nearby, real time bus information, favourite stops, etc. As I mostly travel by bus, I'll be using this app now instead of Google Maps. Fantastic app!
Where can I start? Ok, so this is app is amazing, it does what it says, does what most bus times does not do which is quite impressive. However sometimes it randomly crashes, maybe it is my phone? Apart from that the app is great and would rate it a 5 star :)
One of a number of TfL bus apps I've tried. None are any more accure than any other but this does gvie the option of having a number of favourite stops saved, so I can easily find the arrival times for these.
I found recently when using buses in the Victoria station area that the details given on this app were inaccurate. The route numbers on some stops shown on your app did not coincide with those shown on various bus stops.
This app used to work until last week. Now all it says is "no nearby stops found" every time I need to check the bus arrivals times. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it didn't make a difference...
Essy and functional to use with up to date times and information at your finger tip.
This is a good app if you do the same route every time just to check when your bus is due but i found it s little difficult when traveling from different stops it was time consuming trying to find the right road/stops
Got fired from my job because I had been late 3 times that week due to the bus app showing the wrong times
The app works well as far as data from London Transport allows. Buses sometimes drop off the grid due to technical issues, and that can lead to surprises!
Easy to use app. You can re-earrange your favorite bus stops to make it user friendly. I would recommend this app if you need ETA of a bus.
This app is a lifesaver for me and my family during our travel to London! I love the Journey Planner feature which shows all the possible route available via public transport (both buses and metro) and it shows the ETA of the mode of transport too. The only minor caveat is that it requires internet connectivity to work but there's tons of places you can get free wifi from so it's really no biggie. Kudos to the dev!
