It's OK.....that's it. It has its annoyances, sometimes whenever trying to load an event I just get errors. Same if I want to switch to live view. I need to force close the app, open it back up. Pointless having a security footage app when it doesn't load footage. Out with those annoyances, it's fine. When it works, it loads the video pretty quick, I don't mind the slider, bit fiddly but it's alright. Alarm functionality also works well. I also don't think it's being updated any more, shame.

It works, but it's slow and clunky meaning you end up not using it as it takes too long. There are various improvements that could be made to the layout and set up experience as it's not user friendly. A huge improvement would be for it to auto connect to the alarm system once opened by fingerprint - as this is secure - rather than having the additional step of having to enter your alarm passcode and waiting for it to connect everytime. Push notifications of alarm trigger work well though.

Previous iterations have been good. However, for the last 1 month has been terrible. Simply unable to login. Discussed with alarm company who blame it on my phone, the WiFi, if I'm at home, if I'm not at home etc for the 'signal' issues. Long and short of it is that I've now installed and uninstalled the app 3 times in as many weeks to get it to work sporadically at best. Very frustrating, as I have liked it pretty reliably for the 2 previous years I've had it. Not any more....

This app is unreliable and it isn't user-friendly. It crashes frequently and it often takes several attempts to login. Once I've had 50 notifications, the notifications stop and I have to delete them before they start again. This happens every few days. The notifications are annoying and it isn't possible to control which notifications I receive and what they sound like.

**Update** 3/3/2020. Spoken to the technical and they said to set up the device again. This work better for a week and now very inconsistent again! So Frustrating! Should have got a ring alarm. The app is very clunky and doesn't load every time. Even when it does load only show 2 of the zones for setting and typically these are the ones that have no arming available. I have let it run for 2 week now to see if it got any better and has only got worse.

Quite liked the functionality of the app before this last update. You could easily and quickly scroll through notifications swiping left or right on cctv alert images. This function has now gone meaning to look at the larger image for each notification you have to click on each (for the larger image) then minimise it, before moving to the next image. Please bring back the swipe function as the user friendliness of this app is now awful!!

Notification- video playback has not worked for many versions/months after auto-updating to latest versions of firmware. Have tried on the latest apple version and it works perfectly, but Android needs urgent attention. Have instead uninstalled and rolled back to version 2.0.1.0222 after a hunt in google...it is now working as it used to. Should not have had to do that though. When working properly, this app is great.

The app is able successfully to arm and disarm our burglar alarm. However, the process of setting it up is very tricky and unintuitive. There are various official YouTube videos which purport to show how to do this, but they don't address how to set up the app for a new alarm. I was obliged to have a technician, from the firm who installed the alarm, take me through the procedure over the phone.

Poor stability, interface is average. I installed this as part of a smart home and it's been rather disappointing. The app is slow to connect at times and the interface is a little clunky to use. Best of all I am now getting connection issues that many people experience. So my "smart" alarm is operating as per an older disconnected one.

This is a terrible app. It doesn't work most of the time. It keeps buffering when I want to view the cameras. I can't set the alarm from the app, it keeps asking me to retry. I have uninstall and reinstall the app several times as per the installer's instructions but it has made no difference. The installer is very unhelpful and has stopped responding now. Today I got an Error message 9990 when I tried to set the alarm.

I suppose the app on a basic level works as I did receive a notification when I tested the alarm but the fact that the app doesn't remember the user code and app password (even though I ticked save password) makes it highly inconvenient to use to arm and disarm. For the time being at least I'll just use the fobs but very disappointed. Hopefully an update is not too far away.

Reluctantly I'm giving this app 2 stars. I get push notifications from the alarm but not the cameras. PIR alarm set through the web interface, push notifications alarm schedule set to 24/7. So I should be getting push notifications. What is interesting is that the alerts are there in the message centre within the procontrol+ app but no push notifications. So the camera is doing its bit but the app isn't. It's a pity because it's a great concept but it shouldn't need an installer to set this up. An end user should be able to do this. I really hope this problem is fixed OR it's made more user friendly....

Useless app, doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S9. When trying to log into the alarm system to arm or disarm it says: "Getting device information. Please wait..." and after 30 seconds it crashes saying: "Connection failed. Disconnecting." Happens over the cellular connection and WiFi (even on the same network at home). If I'm lucky I'll login in after 5 attempts standing outside my front door trying to disarm the alarm, their fob keys are big and bulky. I was hoping to replace them with this.

Good when it works , but it doesn't always work , used it to disarm the alarm Wednesday morning went to set the alarm Wednesday evening and it would not connect and it still will not connect!! Update. It started working again a few months later in the middle of the night telling I had an alarm which I didn't it went on for quite a while with this message then started working normally for a few months. Once again set the alarm on going to bed and in the morning it has stopped working !!!!!!!

I am experiencing the same problems as Sanjay and many others. There was an app update and since then on an Android I am no longer able to set my alarm through the app yet I do receive notifications. Very odd. Works fine on iphone still so login details are clearly fine. There must be a bug with the app that is conflicting with Android. Would be keen to hear what the app developer says. I'm also a direct installer so no middle party here.

For a paying service you would expect the app to be user friendly. this app is seriously behind the competitors who offer similar services for free. the interface needs to be improved as it looks out of date. a better layout of system and I believe icons would look more better and ease of use. having used homecontrol+ I seriously would use that over this app. for 2019 this is seriously a app that needs improving.

Regularly doesn't connect when trying to login to the alarm system... sometimes trying 10+ times to just get in. When it does connect often it doesn't even show the correct zones (half missing, half back to default name, nothing works). Notifications don't always work either. Pretty useless for the price. Come on guys, fix the app finally!

Incredibly poor user experience. The app used to work OK (not great, just OK), yet for the last month (of the three months we've had the alarm) none of my family's four devices (both Android and Apple) can connect to the panel. It's just repeated 'failed to connect' messages, even when we are in the house and stood next to our router. Appalling functionality, it simply does not work and is certainly not what I paid for. Stop ignoring these reviews Pyronix and just sort the damn app out please.

The connection between the app and the alarm seems a bit buggy. I seem to have found a way around the 'no input assigned area' bug. Enter an invalid user code and you'll receive a message 'error connecting'. Go back by using the icon in top left, enter the right code and then the areas will be displayed for you to set or disarm.

When viewing cctv you can't type and choose a particular time, you have to scroll and hope it stops where you want to view. The speed up and slow down functions do not work at all. Only thing good for is live view...and setting the alarm is just standard. Update - For the last month the app does not allow me to view anything other than live view. It continually says its downloading and then eventually states error 'Video playing failed: error code 240037'

We use this app for our pryonix home alarm system. The app isn't great, it crashes frequently and often needs to be reopened and closed several times to make sure the alarm and disarm features work. I've no confidence on being able to rely on it in an emergency, and always carry an alarm keyfob just incase.

Really not a great app. Half the time cannot alter the notification schedule and recently can't ever access any of the footage, be it playback or the live feed. May aswell not have a camera at this point.

30 year + security engineer, took a long time to decide on the Enforcer after seeing them at work. A few small issues with the instructions on getting the app to work (mainly registering etc) but works fine.. It allows me access to both alarm and CCTV on 1 app. The gui is a bit...clunky. be useful to add the option to bypass ccts remotely.

Having problems again with the app. It was OK for about 6 months. Recently noticed app interface appears Grey. Use to be Red. Has there been an update? Now I'm unable to log in all the time and error messages appear, and failure to connect messages. Poor app considering the thousands people spend on this system. I spent nearly £2000 on my system and all I ask for in return is an app that works consistently and smoothly. Is that too much to ask?? Spend some money and get the developers

POINTLESS APP!!!! The Home control app, works all the time EVERY time. This app, constantly fails to connect. Before you try to blame anything my end, I'm an engineer that buys and installs £10,000's worth of these systems every year. The systems are fantastic, the home control app is faultless, this app is pathetic. This is what happens when you try to merge 2 decent apps (hik-connect and home control) into one app that just doesn't work. Obviously this is down to the Hik-vision take over.
