I love this app, but I have had some odd experiences with it. I can never find it on any other phone for people I recommend it to and when I send a link to download the app, it says it doesn't exist. The app is so great though and very helpful. It has a sign for every word you type in its great. You can also have it in slow motion and repeat until you really understand it. I just wish I could share this wonderful app!

very easy to use. I like that you can turn the guy and get a different view to make sure you are seeing the signs correctly. I also like that you can speed up or slow down the motions depending on your needs. I use it as a reminder, when I'm working with pediatric patients that are learning sign, to improve communication. It's great app.

Doesn't match some words as I know them, however it's amazing for teaching my nephew. He is 1.5yrs old & it actually keeps him engaged in learning! Now we communicate that much better! My mom, almost in her 60s, likes it. She has learned things she didn't know before & relearned a few things as well. Nieces 7 & 8 prove it's user friendly & can sign almost as fast as they talk. This app makes communication and learning so fast & easy for all ages! By far my fave asl translating app! Thank you!

The app helps, but it needs improvement. If you need a word or phrase here and thwre, it's perfect. However, some animations are fast or break the character model, and grammar isn't covered.

I use this to help me put motions to words of songs for preschoolers. It's so great since I know very little sign language myself. Only set back is that some words are not available and are just spelled out. I am not sure if they are just not in the app or not in sign language.

I think this is helpful for beginners and probably the better of any ASL app I have looked at. However, the dictionary I feel is not extensive enough. Many words are finger spelled and the graphics could be better and more realistic to make the signing more clear.

I downloaded this app a while ago and loved it originally. As my two year old was learning words I was teaching her the sign and this app made it easier. Now all of a sudden the app isnt working. it just stays on the loading screen but never actually loads.

I am going to be a census taker this year. I was supposed to be doing training, but am practicing social distancing right now. So now I am learning sign language with this WONDERFUL app! I have always wanted to learn and this is making it so easy to learn at least basics, I knew the alphabet already. Type or say a phrase and it shows it to you just fabulous! Thank you so much!

I really like this app. It has an impressive dictionary. I'm taking an ASL class and find it very useful when I forget a word or want to use a word I haven't learned yet. Also, it's entertaining when I pause before asking another word or phrase. (I especially like the air guitar.)

I know the vocabulary is still growing, but it does have a decent one already and the app works very well. It even converts simple English sentences into ASL grammar. I like being able to rotate the signer and slow him down, since I'm still learning the language.

We are having fun with this app which is being used by a 6 year old hearing child to learn basic vocabulary. Very pleased with the dictionary but still could use a bit more fleshing out. Look forward to the evolution of this app.

Perfect, quick, simple and no adds no complaints of anything improper. came across a professional issue short fused needing something like this. thank you for having made a translater so simple and functional. my peer appreciated that we found this app greatly and i truly appreciated the fact that this was available. Bravo Zulu to the creator, those funding and keeping this functional.

This app assist me daily as a secondary educator that comes in contact with hearing impaired students. This app also helps me personally. I wear cross over aids. I haven't been able to log into the app for several months. Is the app still available? I tried using iphone and android phones. There are other apps out there but none as good as ProDeaf Translator.

This app prevented me from being late to work. I had a hearing impaired Lyft driver and it just wasn't working because I tried to add a stop. I had an older co-worker in the car who will had to go to another place. This app really helped out good job!

I'm a waitress at the busiest pizzeria in the nation. I've always felt horrible when I didn't know how to properly communicate with my deaf tables. I've only used this app for barely a week and now I feel comfortable attempting to sign with my future deaf tables. Thanks duders for creating a super easy-to-use app. I feel grateful to learn asl for free.

Pretty good dictionary. I like that you can rotate and see it signed from the profile view. Not perfect of course, when it doesnt know a sign it just spells it out.

The app is really good and did help me a lot. But it takes a long time while translating phrases we want. I think this problem need some improvement. And after that it'll be a super great ASL app!! <3

I have tried multiple times to get this app to work and it doesn't. It gets stuck on the translation loading popup and never actually translates. I gave 2 stars because it has a dictionary.

I am grateful for this app, it is helping me learn sign language for my son who is deaf it has been a blessing when all else fails I can use this the voice to text is wonderful and it's also been helping me learn sign it's not perfect but it's really good there are few things that need to be worked out but I'm just so grateful and so blessed that somebody created this app and Thank you!!!

Great had to use it at work at a mental health facility for a girl that we had that came in hearing impaired.. We have major communication barriers, but they were broken with this app, thanks a lot.

Best app available for ASL on the android. Needs to be paired with other resources when first seeing some signs as they may be confusing and a written description or another video goes a long way augmenting understanding. Don't let that dissuade you, this is still the best app available for ASL. If you want a different variant of sign language other than ASL then Iglesia ne Christo is actually the best app out there but it doesn't do ASL(yet?)

I really like the app. very clear and easy to understand the motions. issue with some signs going off edge of screen, Samsung note 8.

This app is wonderful. However, it's a little disappointing that some basic words are spelled out instead of showing actual signs. But overall, it's fantastic.

Really helpful for someone suddenly learning ASL. Some missing words where it just spells it, but it is still under development. Has great potential and great results

Very nice. Good to be able to see the image making the signs instead of just a picture. Can you allow keyboards with swipe capability to enter words that way instead of typing each letter?

Was the best ASL app until last year. Now it literally does nothing but circle. Even the little man wants to know what y'all did to screw up a great app so profoundly and completely. Had a great thing and I'd have gladly paid for it working. Sure glad now I didn't pay anything. Seriously, soooooo disappointed 😞

Super easy to use and being the father of a deaf daughter I had to start learning immediately.. Love the examples this shows you and its a breeze to use.

So far really good but some of the hand movements that he shows you go too fast and you can't really see what he's doing. Other than that, pretty educational.

There are a few words that don't have a translation yet but for the most part the signs are accurate. should add the ability to zoom in/out.

I love this app! Its so helpful for me to see someone signing instead of just a picture in a book. Having access to ASL on the go also gives me opportunities to practice when I'm out and about.
