Product Hunt

Update: it's been almost 6 months and there's still no option to log in with Google, the same way you can on the website. Still can't log in, still can't use the app. Keeps crashing, won't even open without crashing (after I set it to dark mode I think). But most annoying of all, I can't actually log into my profile! The website allows you to log in with Twitter, Facebook, and Google, but the app only gives you the option to log in with Twitter and Facebook!

I've come across a few issues with this new release: 1. I can't access my collections now. And it's not even possible to add anything to my collections. 2. Along with that, there's no option to change to the dark theme, it's always just light. 3. There is no separation between the items. This must be just me, but now everything seems just cluttered. 4. The pics on the product page do not open in fullscreen and have a weird kind of zoom to them.

Useful application for finding out what's new out there. Unfortunately, the user experience is somewhat watered down by the constant 'scroll-to-top' when you're catching up with recommendations you missed a day or two before. I'm not sure whether this is a bug or a feature of the application but I found it really annoying and gave up

Great on desktop, lacking on mobile. Scrolling through this app is not at all smooth and is glitchy. The app is inconsistent in remembering my scroll position when I look at a submitted product/app and I often have to scroll down from the top. Automatic dark mode crashes the app and I can't see the similar apps interface.

Nice idea, but it still needs so much work. It keeps scrolling back to the beginning, no filtering, log in seems to be buggy. Overall a frustrating experience, I hope it gets better as I'd like to use this

The UX is great. But yeah, that's pretty much it. You can't use an app if it crashes every 4 in 10 times you open it. Heck, you can't even log in with your Google account through the app (I don't have Twitter or Facebook, so I can't log in into my Product Hunt account associated to my Google account). Please fix this ASAP.

Great community is missing out a great app. Just uninstalled after waiting too long for the bug fixes. Users still interested in PH, please consider kind of PWA version, Homescreen shortcut of the web version is far better than this app.

I like it, I just wish next to the title was a tag that showed if it's a book, website, game or app. Also the ability to jump to different days rather than scroll all the way down.

Since last year I have been using PH. It is the best one out there of its kind. But recently when I tap to open the app or when Scrolling the app crashes. I hope you fix this soon.

Won't let me sign in, Everytime I try and use Facebook to sign in it just keeps loading and if I close the app and reopen it crashes over and over again, also I didn't use Facebook or Twitter to sign up for an account, I used Google, but on desktop, please help.

The list keeps refreshing and puts me back on the first. It sucks to be very deep down the list and suddenly be jumped up and you have to load all over again. Please fix it.

Stop automatic refresh of items. Nothing more frustrating then when you're somewhere in the item list and the app does a refresh taking you to another (top) position in the list.

The app usually crashes and closes suddenly after some minutes of using it. This is an issue this app has always had but has not fixed yet. It is a shame since Product Hunt is very useful.

It has no features. I can't view products by category. They just show the featured products for days. And that's it. Nothing else. Better to use website than the app.

Well i am already using the web version of it. It's a good tool to know what people are building and liking. Today i installed the android app on my poco f1 and it kept crashing on start itself. Tried opening it thrice but no luck. I hope it ll be resolved soon.

Desktop things are good. but this app is horrible. crashing like infinite times. lot less functionality. scope for improvements.

The app keeps crashing on my Redmi Note 7 Pro running MIUI 11. I haven't been able to use it enough to give a proper review. Giving a low rating to get the developer's attention and hopefully get it fixed for everyone.

Not showing option to sign in using Google. It shows that option on the website. App crashed on first usage. Very disappointed. Hire some good developers.

Refresh the screen for nothing and display it back from the top of the list while you were scrolling new products from many days before. Unusable.

Love the website, hate the app. The UI is mediocre, the youtube player never initializes. Someone should listen to the reviewers and add a google login button. Maybe the community can build a better client app if the developers can't.

New Update results in Crash.. more crash.. finally unusable! Its a shame that such wonderful app had to go through this phase.

It crash like crazy. 2 crashes in less than 5 minutes while I browsed today's products... Almost unusable.

I had added around 40 products to my collections to check out later, and with a single update, just like that, collections are gone. This is awful!

Actually the application is very useful and i personally i really like the way every idea is expressed in each step i was able to connect smoothly to my social media account

I signed up to PH on my desktop via Google, and after making lots of activities on my account, decided to download the app, only to discover there is no option to sign with Google account for the app!

I love spending time on it. However, when it strangely scrolls top, it's killing all my motivation to keep using the app :( We love Product Hunt anyway!

App crashes whenever I click on any product of the Day. Happened 4 times. Uninstalled it.

When you try to check on your launch progress screen goes black. Text editor doesn't work on mobile so had to get app

I like product hunt, but not the app. It keeps scrolling to the top and also can't create a new collection. Please look into these.

This app dont work, I've no idea how they ended up publishing it. Just visit their website in browser. Im very dissapointed! 😡
