An amazing app! It would be great if you improved the focus and exposure lock a little. The focus lock breaks as soon as I touch the screen. It would be great if I could control the exposure while the focus is locked. When exposure is locked, it unlocks after the first image is taken, so I cant make multiple images in a row without locking the exposure for every shot. Also, when I change the ISO while the exposure is locked, it would be nice if the exposure didnt unlock. The same thing happens with locked exposure: when I touch the screen, it unlocks. The best thing would be if everything was locked until the button for unlocking was pressed. Edit: 4K video not working. When I put it on 4K, it actually records in 480p.

Thank you for your work on this App. It is one of the very best. I would like to ask about the remote camera that is available, wonder why the functions are separated. I may try it but trust is in your this App. Not sure about remote camera. Again thanks to you for your hard work. One final thought, the color of icon is very similar to Microsoft Outlook, usually right next to Open Camera. Easy to touch wrong icon on Android.

I downloaded the app to improve the quality of the pictures my phone takes and I was disappointed when I discovered that it did little in that regard. That being said, the application does offer plenty of filters to utilize whereas the default camera application on your phone probably doesn't. If the camera on your phone takes bad pictures, it's time to replace the phone.

Best Camera app for Android smartphones period. Its focus is a little slow, but pictures are crystal clear. You can even take nice pictures of the clouds. Some camera apps wont do that. I suggest you try yours. The app also lets you autofocus the lighting of your pictures simply by tapping on the screen. The design is also real straightforward and easy to use. I dont know what else to say, so please people, quit asking me to write more detailed reviews. Ive tested 7 apps and this one wins. Timer&Time-lapse

Great app. Thank you for the wonderful job, Dev. Not sure if this is a bug in the app, but on the Nokia 7 Plus the zoom feature works while previewing the screen, but the photographs are taken without any zoom. Zooming during the video works, but hectically. Its like the hardware camera is not listening to the app. Changing to APi v2 also does not help. Other than that, this app is amazing!

Because Photo Sphere There are many great features about this app that do not come with the stock camera app on the GS4. But Photo Sphere is the really cool one. Take a 360 degree photo of your surroundings and then physically turn your phone from anywhere to look around as if you were still in that same place. Amazing. Also, you can swipe left to see the photo you just took, a very fast and convenient way to be sure you just took the shot you wanted.

The camera is as solid as ever and the new UI is easier to use - with the exception of the lack of a back button. Please re-enable the navigation bar to remain in app while using - thus allowing the user to exit the app without a hassle. Current full screen nature of the updated UI requires the user to swipe up to bring the navigation bar, which often results in inadvertently shooting a photo or two in the process.

Totally useless when I needed a camera app to take a picture in a hurry. No auto zoom and out of focus by default, so cant read any text. Cant save pictures to external sd card. Edit: On Android 9 the zoom function is intuitive and easy to operate, which makes it possible to get a sharper image. Not too complicated. This is once again my favourite camera app.

This app is completely free with no ads. When you usually take pictures with camera, you have to see what you are taking picture of, and we usually have auto-brightness on our phones. If the brightness is low we wont be able to see the picture we are trying to take. This app automatically set the brightness so we can see the picture we are trying to take. We can also see the current date, hour, and the free storage space available of our smartphone. Autofocus is already enabled so we can just point and shoot or we can manually select an object to focus and shoot. We can use slider to zoom in or out located at the bottom by one finger or use the pinch motion. Exposure, brightness, ISO, flash, photo mode, and settings can be easily accessed by shortcut. It also has various resolution settings from 320 to 4000px. You can also took creative pictures by using color effect. This app also has timer and repeat feature for taking pictures. Grid feature also available to help you compose the picture you are taking. Overall, thus is a very good camera app.

HD Video This has pretty good settings, for someone with intermediate skill at least. If you have taken at least two explanative photographic courses in photo this is great. But I also have quite a bit of practice and some medium experience. It turns your phone into something pretty good. But you probably get what you pay for kind of. But I am blessed to have this.

I just wanted a camera app that has great flexibility, keeps out of the way and takes good pictures. One issue my previous camera apps suffered from was flash synchronisation. Well this apps works perfectly. It syncs perfectly and even if that didnt work you have the option of turning the flash on permanently. It also offers a large range of controls that should satisfy even the most demanding user. It would be perfect if photo sphere and panorama mode were supported as I could just have one camera app for everything then. However few camera apps support those features so I wont hold that against this app. Great work!

Much better than the old app The new ui is much smoother and faster than the old one. Also, for the people complaining about the black bars, thats because the old app cropped the picture so it would fill the screen, so the viewfinder didnt accurately represent the final photo, where the new app shows the entire photo, which I like much better but it unfortunately requires the large black bar.

Love it! Great camera app, does what it says and it is amazing that it is only 1 megabyte! I initially started looking for a camera app just for a better app icon, but this exceeded my expectations by quite a substantial amount. It includes many settings, and enables you to have full control over the photos you take. Would rate 10 if there was such a thing on the play store!

One of the most complete photo apps I have used. Al the settings are there. Can do everything automatic as well as manual override. Lots of extra help features (leveling photos, compositie aids...) Also the source is available. Help file and instructions on the web site are very clear and complete. The only possible extra I could think of is the possibility to take panorama photos, 360° or spherical photos.

Fantastic Improvement Over LG G2 Stock App I was very pleased to hear that Google had released this app as like my phones being as close to stock as possible. But when I opened the app i disappointed that it didnt support my phones native 16:9 resolution and that there was a huge black bar at the bottom of the screen where the shutter button is. Having played around with it for a while I believe this has actually I improved my shots though. 16:9 isnt really the best aspect ratio for camera phone shots and they are much more suited to 4:3 (IMHO).

Aesthetic filters and wide range of pictures. Really reccomend it! But I have a problem. Can the devs make the filters available in the video system? It really has a great help for quick edited videos! And make the filters less saturated and pixelized to make it more versatile and accurate. Other than that, it has a unique and fast activation of beautiful filters!

A bit daunting at first, this app affords control that can be very useful. Exposure lock and adjustments on the fly along with manual focus (using Camera2 API) allow for some very close-up, well-focused photos. Hands-down one of, if not the best camera apps out there. You dont get fancy filters and dancing hot dogs, you get the raw power you need to take great photos. Great application all around.

Perfect Id like to see the shutter timer implemented but I love the simplicity, the new features, and that fact that it shows the true view of the photos on the capture screen. Thats a huge plus for me. Cant wait to see the advances with them being able to push updates right from the play store. Edit: They implemented the timer feature and added a fisheye panorama!

Finally a real camera app for grown-ups that comes with easy-to-use basic controls (zoom, ISO, focus, resolution etc) and a most intuitive interface. Moreover, it doesnt bother you with any ads, upsales, or childish stuff to decorate selfies with. Great for on-the-go, if you actually want to take photos!

I very appreciate great settings. I have a notes for possible improvement: 1) Fields for author and copyright for jpg exif are not diacritic friendly, it is supposed to work in UTF I think, but it does not. It should work with ěščřžýáíéóúů and so on, but it does not work even if with á in my surname 2) I am used to zoom plus on right side (or down) and zoom minus on left side (or up). Since it is opposite in this app, it would be good to enable mirroring by users settings. Since various producers of cameras and lens uses both systems, it would be great to give a choice to user. 3) Settings could have export for future new devices, like K9mail has. 4) I do not understand why autolevel should crop resolution to squere. Surely I can take photo portrait or landscape in aspect ratio of camera chip, and it is just matter of orientation +/-90 degrees of existing rectangle; no reason to trim it to square.
