This program is designed for individual learning Divination by Tarot cards.The learning program is the part of the authoring system of divination course at the Baltic Academy of Tarot. For over 10 years, more than 1,000 students studied through this system. Many of them have their own successful private practice in different countries.The program includes:
* The Major Arcana cards description includes: Archetype, The Astrological Point, Symbolic and meanings: General meaning, Events, Business and work, Relationship, Health, Psychological characteristics, Advice, Warning and Result.
* The Minor Arcana cards description includes: meanings: General meaning, Events, Business and work, Relationship, Health, Psychological characteristics, Advice, Warning and Result.
* In practical course you will learn How to Conduct a Tarot Reading, how to find the significator for your client, you will find out about 22 psychological types of your clients and you will use the spreads that are used by the author of the application.
* Knowledge test allows to obtain a certificate issued by our school. You must answer 80% of the questions correctly to get a certificate from our school. I've Passed the test and paid for the certificate, it's been like 5-6 months, still haven't received it yet!

Great questions but not enough for free version

Have to pay for practice content. Should at least let you do SOMETHING free.

A nice feature of the app is that every card's info is categorized by General Meaning, Events, business and so forth. The problem is that most minor arcana are missing the General Meaning and Event categories. In the French version, a few more cards are complete, though.
Paid description is Practice. To my knowledge practice includes exercises to check learning progress. This app however does not provide at all what is expected. $9 is a lot but I took a chance expecting to be able to refund if not satisfied. No ability to refund should be unlawful.
I shouldn't have to spend money, if it's free.. Right!!!

TEASER!!! This app is a limited-function teaser. It only display the first few cards of the Major Arcana and one suit of the Minor. Attempting to display unavailable content brings up a window to buy the app for USD$12.58 (as of 2015-11-02). Since this was not made clear in the description, I’m classifying it under “deceptive marketing practices; don’t support the company!” Other than that, I found it similar to other Tarot card reference apps --- not really an ‘academy’, but keep in mind my review is limited and biased by my offense taken from the deceptive marketing. Overpriced. Deceptive. One star.
You can't do anything on the app without unlocking sections that are $12-20 dollars a piece. It is way too expensive for what it is.
For the full version there is a fee. Don't call something free if it isn't. I've been studying Tarot for about a year, these card descriptions are a little too detailed for a beginner.

NOT FREE !!.... should it read , before people download this app...
The updated price of $12.86 is basically the price of a book, so I purchased it and so glad I did. Instead of carrying a book around with me I have this app in the palm of my hands for reference when reading a tarot spread. It gives you exact detailed meaning of each card and the meaning of that card when matched with another one. I dont care for the certificate, I just love the app.
