Professional Tone Generator

Great APP I plan to buy Would like a tinnitus feature, where you can generate noise of various colours , but within a distinct and adjustable audio band. Eg.. 3.8 to 4.6KHz to correspond to the tinnitus frequency.. 15% of folk have tinnitus and seek a help aide..

I really love this. I use it not infrequently, though I have run into a particular issue. When trying to play from the multi-tone generator, it keeps stopping the sound. I can't play the audio file on repeat because it launches strangely with play music. So I'm at a loss, I have to keep turning it back on every thirty seconds or so. I looked through the settings and didn't see a way to fix it, so I think it's a bug. Hopefully it gets sorted at some point here.

This app was almost perfect for what I needed to drive a PEMF Rife device for health purposes. I say almost because the Programmer mode didn't accommodate a square wave form. I emailed José about this and he took the time to add a square wave selection, upon my request, to the Programmer mode screen. Now I can run multiple square wave sweeps simultaneously, or specify a specific frequency using a square wave. I love the Programmer mode of this app. It's exactly what I needed and will accomplish the same thing via a convenient phone app, instead of having to always use FreXmcm or FreX16 software via a laptop. The Programmer mode is very flexible allowing you to run sweeps simultaneously, or single threaded one after another (by specifying a start time of a given sweep to begin after the previous sweep(s) ended). Being a software developer myself for 35+ years now, this app is very intuitive and has excellent support from José. Now if we only had a guide for the 4 different modes of the app, that would be great. As it stands right now I'm pretty much in the dark concerning all the options found at the bottom of the Tone Generator mode screen -- I'm not an audio expert.

Incredible app. Fun and useful. I'd kill for the ability to change the frequencies by increments on the multi tone page. Edit So rather than clicking through and inputting a frequency, having the additional benefit of say, +1hz and -1hz buttons so you can manually fine tune your frequency without menu diving. This App Is Accurate & Precise; Beautiful App It really is a well designed app. It's simple and easy to use, and it teaches you a lot. The mechanics of this app allow you to manipulate and adjust parameters. This will make it easier gather information about how different things work, like harmonics, phasing, stero shaping, and even binaural beats. This will really help you develop a deeper understanding for how sonic energy is generated and how musical brilliance is made.

Still crashing guys. It's been at least a month. None of the updates have had a noticeable impact. Its getting ponderous.

Ok 2 stars since it does generate tones but so does 100 other apps, many of the others also include the tools to actually see some results after the sweep is done using external mic with calibration + Blu tooth for sound. It seems that you include a bunch of stuff that isn't needed for tests, I'm sure that added a lot of time that could have been spent making a complete package just for testing (sine wave tones only) with plotted results and had a very useful app thats worth paying for.

Great work! You're creating the most advanced tone generator for Android. It would be helpful to have an audibly variable frequency selection, perhaps by press+hold on [+]/[-], or maybe let tap on frequency during sweep playback could quick-build a multi-tone set?

Hello, I recently got the PRO version of the app and I place the frequencies to play infinitely but after a few minutes it will just stop by itself. Causing me to have to open the app again, then it abruptly plays when I open the app back up. Please fix this so I can place my frequencies while I sleep.. continuously the whole night, with no application interruptions.

Handy. I use this app to test audio and paging systems. Works well. I have a windows version that cost me $50 and does less than this app. My only request is to try and unhide the files I create. I just can't find them. The app is very much worth the money and more. Thank you.

Try it your self , it's really good. I thought the cool looking speaker icon was just an attraction. The Developers obviously worked on this. lifetime for me . Nice !.Update; had it a year , and the Developer maintains and improves this app. Definitely worth it for me.

This is an absolute must have app for anyone interested in sound healing. The ability to play and store 16 Frequencies is a huge plus for sound healing of all types. I heartily recommend the upgrade to the PRO version.

Great app - stable, you can generate noises with a lot of configurable parameters. Might be a bit niche but it perfectly suits my needs in masking tinnitus where you need to match frequencies and fire off the sounds at intervals.

Bought the PRO version to power a PEMF device. The flexibility of this program is great! I can program up to 16 frequencies using the Multi-tone generator or I can use the sweep generator to sweep through a range of tones, in .0.01 Hz steps. The programmer responded to my questions promptly with accurate answers. Thank you

Awesome! This is exacyly what I was looking for in similar apps. The auto sweep function is perfect for testing like audio devices for matching wave-form performance and duration. Great job to the developer.

My experience with the developer has been terrible, i paid for Sound Creator and he removed it from Google Play. I emailed asking for a refund or a license to this application he scoffed, went on to yell in another email when I told him I couldn't install the other application. *edit* I've developed apps (pub:f1vefour), all but one are free without ads. No one said make it free, just keep the application on the play store and set the price high so no one else purchases. I didn't demand a refund!

The best Frequency Generator app available. Does everything you'd need for an audio toolbox as well as experimenting building harmonics or Binaural Beats. Dev is very helpful to inquiries as well. This is the app, look no further!

With its simple feature set, the app is very easy to use. I wanted a simple app for subwoofer setup. This app got the job done without fuss. For me, it's worth paying for the developer's effort.

There are other apps like this that are much better and totally free, and premium apps like this with unrestricted free versions. Edit: It's a little something called ads. That's how they do it. And they prosper doing so. As for me, yes, I actually do work for free. And because I do, I'm poor in pocket, but rich in spirit. Though society has taught you so, chasing wealth is not the key to happiness. I mean, look at how miserable you clearly are—isn't that proof enough?

I'm half deaf on one side of my head and I DJ funny that huh but I support tone generaters as you can flex your speakers the right way before hard use is needed and tinnitus is my worst nightmare given its a constant sound for my day to day its has excellent uses. And knowing what I know in tone if you set it to 45hrz did you know you can destroy possible cloggs in vains and arterys to promote good blood circulation so yes many different uses and thank you Devs for your kind thoughts.

As far as app and usability is concerned, its a 3-star app. Looks can get better definitely. As far as developers prompt reppy is concerned its a 4-star app. Can't really judge the app on certain constraints. Try for yourself.

What is the point of Asking for donations from paid customers. Will not play more than 30 minutes on a brand new galaxy s7 lite tablet!!! WHY IS THE SLIDER GREYED FOR TIMER? NO OTHER FEATURE GREYS THE SLIDER!!! No other app that does similar things suddenly terminate at exactly 30 minutes. You are a disingenous liar. I have been using this app for over five years, and not until the most recent update does the timer slider grey out and these symptoms occur. Great job.

This is a great app. I like the nuanced features. I will be purchasing. This would be good with a wav file exportation function.

How do I create sound files from presets? I get to the Create Sound File, but can't see where/how you save it or find it. I want to be able to make and export a sound file. I have Pro version. Instructions please?
