I'm sure this app is okay if you want a deck that is square. No adjustment available. If it had the feature of floor planner apps then I may be able to use it but in the real world where structures are of different shapes and sizes it is unusable for professionals or serious DIY.
It could use some work. Could you start the fencing height at 4 feet? that is the highest your allowed in Calgary in the front of your house without a permit. Also could you add an area for top cap. And possibly a second rail group. Some fences have 2x4 on one side and 1x4 on the back side. But thanks for the app. And if I were to go pro. I would much rather have a one time fee.
Testing out the free app at this point. Very basic app at this point. With the adds that run with the app I feel like there could be a bit more functionality. Such as fence height, and/or garage metal roofing and/or variable pitch angle. To pay for the pro version would like to see more of what is upgraded. For 0.99/month, what do we gain, only garage metal roofing and/or pitch height? What about extra bracing for fence corners. Or different fence materials besides just wood.
This app gave me the exact number of supplies I calculated for my fence. Great job! I am guessing the fence calculates for a board-on-board fence. In the future consider adding calculations for other fence types. For example, a shadowbox fence would probably take more pickets.
Terrible! Can only do decks in square/rectangle sizes and only in even increments. (No inches) No Stairs! No stair calculator, spindle calculator...nothing! Useless and uninstalling! Your response only shows me your not in carpentry/construction. Keep trying jr. Responding again I see... keep the excuses coming! We'd all love to see how many you have. In the end, your app still sucks, your still not a tradesman and you'll never be able to build anything half as good as my 9 yr old son!
I'm trying to DESIGN a deck, a wraparound, longer and wider on one side than the other. Can you do THAT here? If so I can not find it. BUT this could definitely be my fault. I'm not very computer savy. WOW what a quick responce! Lol. I wasnt even expecting a answer on my review but i had one in 5 min! That very cool. Answer was no. But still cool. Btw you spelled my name wrong. Which is also cool cause only a REAL person could pull that off😁
Greeted with an ad that I couldn't escape from within 15 seconds of opening the app. I immediately closed and uninstalled this app. Very irritating!!!!!

great app to easily get lumber lists and easily send them to get material quotes. allows our team to get a quote back to a client for materials usually within 24 hours or the same day. Contractors dream app highly recommended! 5 starts
If Im going to pay for an app. At least I want to know what the unlocked features do before I pay for it. It only gave me very poor options and that is not what I am looking for. Thank you anyways.
Needs more flexibility, can only do small decks 24x16 is the biggest. I'm looking for 29.5 x 23.5. Would be helpful to see actual design and construction.
Trash, trash, trash. It belongs to the trash bin. It has no good intention at heart for the user. It is has kinda virus. All they card is how to push an annoying ad.
Super easy to use, very helpful for construction projects especially to average person with little to no construction knowledge.
Doesn't give you real images of designs and stops at 24 feet for decks which is half of what most contractors require.
No ability to do anything but a square or rectangle deck. Not even steps or railings.
Unless you are building a no grade one sided basic precut fence, you will be frustrated at the lack of choices for sizes of boards
Trying to build a specific deck size. The app is not flexible at all. I would not recommend it
Game apps for installations keep popping up so I removed the Project Helper app. Had I wanted to play games I would have installed them already.
Ads immediately, which didn't provide an option to close.
Could not find an app that can do as much as this one.. plus 99 cents..ya dont see that anymore.

not sure if it uses the units from the phone locale or only imperial units supported but without option to change to metric, useless for me.. seems very good tho

Can you use this application too draw out fence lines as well as calculate materials?
Like the simplicity. And how material is figured. Could use more features but if app is improved upon and little more work putbinto it could wind up being a time saver for sure. Developer is quick to respond to review. Worth a star in my book. Wish thete was a way to input materials and cost then apply it to material lists. Also a ft/inch calculator would be cool.
