Good game, but buggy If you liked sim tower you'll like this! Only issue is a few known bugs that pop up from time to time and the Media Buzz stuff keeps getting higher and higher until you basically forget about it entirely and stop using it. One of those things that should vary based on the building size, not how many times you use it. Would change to a 5 star if the fixes were implemented.

I've played many mobile games over the years and, although I enjoyed many, I wasn't challenged by any... until Project Highrise. The only difficulty I encounter with other games is trying to enjoy free games for free. This game isn't free and doesn't claim to be, but it is definitely well-worth it's small, one-time cost. I was shocked by how detailed and realistically complex the game play is. I started with the tutorials and then went on to the normal-level (difficulty) sandbox mode. I expected to easily progress, but that's not what happened lol. In fact, I had to start over 6 TIMES before I finally was able to stabilize my Highrise with a daily profit. Please understand, I'm not trying to discourage anyone. In fact, I suggest everyone get this game! Project Highrise is the only game (so far) that provides a real challenge for veteran mobile gamers. I was up until 3 am last night and the time flew by! I can't stress it enough... YOU NEED TO TRY THIS GAME! If I had to make a suggestion on ways to improve/enhance, it would be the ability to further customize the aesthetics via color and/or more style alterations. However, even without that ability, this is still a 5 star experience!

Overall, good game, I am only a few scenarios in and I can see how it can get repetitive. It tries to stay simple by not giving you too many options, but adds complexity at wrong places - like running electric cables through building - but not allowing greater control of elevators shafts. Considering it's free, the game is amazing. Hope there's more depth in levels ahead.

It's great! Pretty much exactly what I expected. Like a lot of people say, it would be nice to have more of a zoom out button (or a translucent menu) for when menu's get in the way of placement. A day-skip option would be a decent feature for times when you're trying to save up small increments of money. Those are just minor, though, and easily overcome.

The game is really good but the only problem is syncing across devices, I made a purchase and despite being logged into google play games on both devices it didn't appear on the other device. The gameplay also doesn't sync which is annoying but not as big a problem. I don't know if syncing is part of the game or if the problem is at my end. If syncing across devices is not supported I would be really disappointed as I do want to buy the citywide maps bundle.

It has been a long time, but I'm sure Sim Tower was better. It's really not about building a functional tower within the rule set of the game. Instead, you just check off each objective to open up new options to check off more objectives until you complete the level. There is very little management involved. Sandbox mode is identical, but without as many arbitrary objectives. It gets very dull after the first few towers.

Great game, lot of replayability and depth and most important fun. But there are some issues on the Galaxy note the pen does not work on some ui elements, which is a shame as without it make it hard to place some items. Also when the phone goes into standby the app does not resume properly, in that only half the screen is visible, until you restart it.

Thank you for making this game! brings back great memories... 02/21 Update: Unfortunately I had to drop the rating because the past few weeks the game bugs out. Construction crews stop building in the middle of a game, no matter how many plots you put on the floors. It seems to happen a lot if you accidentally place something on a floor that has no access, even if you install elevators/staircases. But again, its the middle of a game, before I even reach Floor 25 the characters just stand around

Great adaptation of a decent little game from PC. I wish I could have bought the entire game at once rather than in "expansion" and extra packs, but the cost is roughly the same as the full version on PC. I like the scenarios in this version better and it seems to be easier to build a profitable building in this version. However, there are some issues with the tool tips throughout the game. There are more than a few typos and some of them are not very clear in their instructions.

Very fun and surprisingly deep and complex. However, some of the rigidity of the system reduces the ability to make creative decisions. Suggestion: some room types should be variable in size with a minimum mandatory amount of space. Like the common areas are 1x3 but if I have a 1x4 or 1x5 space open I should be able to decide this common area can be larger than the standard. This could affect visual design of the tower and you could also make it a tangible benefit for the room to be larger.

It's a fun, mellow time waster. Some of the controls need tuning, for example I notice I have to tap the pause button 4 or 5 times before it actually starts working. Graphics are okay, but I really enjoy getting to play at my own pace, not having to buy everything (or anything at all) to advance, and NO ADS! Keep up the good work guys.

All of the core gameplay of the PC version is here, but it could really use additional content. More residential, office, retail and resteraunts would be nice, even as a paid DLC. you only seem to get the basic selection of units to place, and thus there isnt much veriety. The game plays very nicely on my Moto G6, with better performance than I expected considering this is a $200 budget phone. The interface is playable on the 5.7" display, but would be better with a bigger screen.

I tried it out for about 10 minutes then refunded it. Not because it's a bad game but because it's too complicated and the touch controls are too wonky. At one point the item I was supposed to add was outside my phone screen and I couldn't click it,yet I could see the top of the green outline. I might try it again if the gameplay becomes less convoluted and the formatting is fixed. Sorry dev,but it's a "no" for me.

Enjoyable but a few bugs. I've been playing this a lot lately and really enjoying it but there a few small issues. Some of the contracts won't complete, the one with 6 large offices , and one about hanging art in the lobby space to name 2 , they will to to like 4 / 6 then just stop regardless of how many more you build. This isn't a game breaker but it can be annoying.

Solid game, with solid content. My biggest suggestion would be to make it play better on the Tab S4. Within Dex mode it doesn't work that well, and in regular Android mode (as well as Dex mode) it doesn't accept either the S-pen or bluetooth mouse input (the mouse works for menus, but not placing offices, services, etc). Having to suddenly use my fingers on a tablet I'm used to controlling primarily via mouse - and S-pen when that fails - is rather frustrating, and also limits availability to those of us with mobility issues. Fix this, and it would be a five star game.

Can't select options on wide screen phones like the Oneplus 7 Pro. When I create an office, it is impossible for me to tap on "Accounting office" at the bottom right. There's no option to force the game in 16:9. Due to this, there's many scenarios where I can't finish Contracts due to lack of office diversities. Even with a Bluetooth mouse I can't click on it...

Great building tower sim. The systems are easy to learn, difficult to master and well balanced. I'm very surprised at how well it runs on mobile. As a fan on PC and Switch you can tell painstaking work went into making it as mobile friendly as possible. I've literally lost hours trying to finish out "one more floor."

Bre. W. Aug 2, 2021

Save files keep getting corrupted every single time I get a tower mostly filled. It fails to load even though it's at 100%. Then, when I hit the back button it loads, but the money resets and shows 0 on all other stats and is frozen in time and can't build. I've tried clearing the cache, and even reinstalling, but I can't use my saves and I have 3 different corrupted saves of wasted time thinking it would fix the issue to start a new save, please fix this bug!

Great game that plays wonderfully on moblie. It's very satisfying to slowly expand your tower from 2 floors all the way to the skies, and it's very fun to build and experiment with different tower types such as Apartments and Office Spaces. Complaints I have comes from the game feeling too easy even on "challenging" and some of the requirements to build certain rooms feels very absurd (why do I need three stores to build a 1 br apartment?). Overall, a very fun time if you love simulation games.

Great game that reminds me of sim hotel as a child. I have it linked to play on my phone or tablet. Controls are easy and when you've mastered all the scenario rounds you can go into sandbox mode. Only thing I would like to change is being able to use a stylus on the tablet otherwise great game.

It's a great game perfect for mobile devices. For what it is it does a good job, the gameplay is casual and yet at the same time it has a fun strategic element to it. I just purchased this game, there is quite a bit of buzz around this game I was holding out for the switch release but couldn't help myself and picked up the android version instead. It seems the developers will be adding stuff and supporting this game well into the future so seriously worth the purchase.

neat economic strategy game, definitely worth the five buck-o's. that being said, it does get pretty buggy, easily solved by killing the app and restarting it or clearing the cache + save files. buttons are pretty small, so big screen helps, but it is a pretty user friendly game. five stars because it is a one-of-a-kind, sandbox-style, build it/tear it down, tower sim that doesn't rely on cartoons and quintillion-figure incomes to buy quintillion-figure upgrades. cons: no zombie scenarios.

Bri. C. Mar 27, 2021

Buggy! There is promise here but my game is now unplayable. 1) (chrome book) Half of the touch screen commands don't work, though identical input provided with the touch pad does. For example, building additional interior space. 2) I happened to get my first two contracts completed at exactly the same time: reach a certain population and get a certain number of offices. When I load my game I'm greeted with an unclosable window telling me I met the contract. Lesson learned: never take two!

Tra. W. Apr 14, 2021

A taste, of tranquility The esaance of the game is a management sim that revolves around the ability to coordinate and plan for events for the future. Failure to do so destroys you chances at being successful, or it makes things look hurrendus. Though, I cannot say this game is perfect, there are kinks that need to be addressed. Controls; Touch screen is a very delicate operation of balance. Ensuring it's playable without making every little thing a push and hold and drop.

Emi. S. Jul 22, 2020

Really fun game!! I've had a few issues with the interface - the UI blocks parts of the screen in build mode and there was a bit of a learning curve on figuring out how to zoom to avoid that. Would love upgrade options to building services in the future!

A. G. u. Jan 1, 2019

Good game with a small caveat Very nice tower building game where you have to build a tower for offices, flat tenants and, if you get the DLC, hotel guests. You have to stay profitable while ensuring your tenants' needs are met so that they remain satisfied. It is quite a nice way to pass some time. One thing to keep in mind if you're coming from PC is that the base game is less than what you get on PC, so you need to get DLC to have the same content.

Dog. Apr 17, 2019

Game is great, but my game crashes at 12% loading everytime i try to load a scenario, tutorial, or sandbox Thanks to the help of the devs the game now runs and works smoothly, but there are still two minor things that halt me from giving 5 stars: 1. You cant place multiple offices at the same time. 2. more scenarios blocked off behind a paywall (but thats just optional content)

Dav. C. Sep 30, 2018

Amazing game. Well worth the money. Huge replayability. Controls can be a little wonky, specifically when building items that you drag (utilities, new floors). Certainly not a big deal though and doesn't detract from the quality of the game. Give it a try, you'll like it.
