Project VOID - Mystery Puzzles ARG

Project Void is a very original concept. I have not played any puzzle / mystery games like this. It puts your internet research abilities to the test as well as your problem solving and code breaking skills. I am learning interesting info in a variety of subject while searching for the answers. The features in the game including web browser, notes pad, zoom and scroll image features, make the games easy to play while the puzzles are medium to difficult to solve. Highly recommend.

The game is very good. The puzzles are amazing. The only problem is whenever I open something "It's time for Ad" popup appears and after that screen don't show advertisement. I have to quit the game and restart again. Fix this problem nd I'll give you +1 star. Suggestions- 1) Prepare inhouse browser with related and unrelated content. It makes game more interesting. ✌🏻

This is a great game, the puzzles are intriguing and challenging, and rely on problem solving skills relevant to everyday life (seeking information, developing strategy, etc...). I gave only 4 stars because of a minor technical issue. The browser is touchy, and will throw an error when you return to the app after navigating away. Closing and reopening the browser solves the problem, but it's annoying.

I will update my review as I progress throughout the game, but so far it's alright. I'm on the 4th level so far having played for roughly 45 mins I'd say, and my main issue so far is the difficulty. There have been a few challenging levels, but I have found most to be pretty simple, and a few (especially the serial killer level), far too easy. Perhaps it will get more challenging as the game progresses, I don't know. Another small issue is the text is clearly translated, and there are errors.

The game itself is really fun, and at times challenging. I had issues with the usability of the app though. Often the map in the background would be open at the same time as a puzzle was open and I wouldn't be able to control the screen properly, I had to close app and reopen to fix. Using the in game browser was very clunky and the buttons were hidden by the browser.

First of all, the game is pretty fun. The puzzles are engaging and really clever and obscure at times. However, I have had an issue on Mission 2, Puzzle 2, where no matter how I put in the answer, it marks it as incorrect. Even when I checked the answer by watching an ad, it still marks my answer wrong, thus making it impossible for me to progress. I honestly just think it's a minor bug, but would appreciate it if it was fixed. EDIT: Now M3P1 isn't working, and the hints do not work.

Excellent puzzler with a very innovative gameplay. The game actually encourages you to search the web for solutions. Of course you can cheat and search for game walkthrough and all that but that is the choice you need to make. Whether to play the hame and enjoy it or just fill out the puzzles solved by someone else when you were unable to. The puzzles are not very hard though and it makes it easier for younger players. Thanks devs, eagerly waiting for updates. Keep up the phenomenal work.

Good fun game for an afternoon. I liked how a browser was worked into the app itself but I would like to be able to have split screen so I don't have to exit out of the browser and go back in to figure out codes. The puzzles were easy up until the final mission and then it got really hard all of a sudden. Not quite sure what to make of it but I would still recommend the game for its unique gameplay.

I was really surprised at how different this game is. Project Void uses a style that combines facts, research and focus. It includes a real web browser for a quick access to an online search and ads are at a bare minimum. From what I can tell they're used only for helpful hints and answers. The puzzles are sophisticated, intellectual and offer an interesting learning experience. It's not simply boring and it's not extremely hard. It's refreshing! So go ahead and try it out. Be an opportunist!

I'm only on chapter 2. I really like it. It's fun, not too hard and has a good balance of being intriguing and challenging while still manageable. Only hiccup so far, I opened one mission, read the clue (about an IBSN no.), promptly found the answer and sumbitted it only to find that it was wrong. All iterations were wrong. I clicked the hint, which made NO sense, and when i closed the hint, it went back to a different screen with a different clue. So just a glitch, I hope?

Absolutely brilliant. Such a wonderfully unique and satisfying little game. Not too difficult, which I'm sure was tempting as it would be in the developer's best interest as hints cost ad views, but still challenging enough to make success satisfying and research necessary. Perfect balance. Well done and thank you! This is one I'm sharing to many people. Puzzle 3-1 was very annoying, without giving away too much, the REQUIRED answer is missing a two letter word that's in the ACTUAL name.. 😕

I'm quite hard to please with these sort of riddle games but this one is actually pretty good! Recommend to anyone who likes a good riddle and brain teasers. My only issue was that whenever I used the browser through the game and then went on to get a hint, there was some sort of bug and the screen gets stuck on my last browser search and unresponsive. Other than that little issue I am really enjoying this game! Good use of ads too! Props to the devs 😊

I went into this thinking it would be pretty bad, but it's actually amazing. You're giving different puzzles, Each of which are independent of each other, but they're all used in the final big puzzle. Each puzzle Hutton different from the last, but they all take you through an amazing cycle of understanding nothing to understanding everything, getting you a big Eureka moment.

Great logic puzzles...the incorporation of visual images and the browser make it better than some of the "drier" logic games out there. The ability to do more to the image manipulation (more transforms, color effects, image analysis) within the app would be a great addition. It would reduce the detached feeling you get from the game when having to drop the image in an external photo editor.

I adore puzzle games. They're my favourite genre. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to find good ones on mobile. There's only a handful and after you play a few they become a bit repetitive. This one, though? This is a gem. Amazing puzzles, interesting story, innovative mechanics, everything you could want! This is by far THE best puzzle game I've played on mobile.

It's not just another thoughtless game and I like it for that reason. Some things are more thought provoking than others but overall the game definitely requires a level of research and thought. It's not 5 Stars for me due to a few typos found at various points within the game. For instance, "woud" instead of "would", "cheecky" instead "cheeky" and the omission of words like "to" in the dialogue etc. All in all, still a good games. More chapters please!

Very fun, interactive, and interesting game. I CAN NOT WAIT for chapter 2 to be released. Great, challenging, intense brain game/mystery game. If you've ever wanted to try your hand at investigating the unknown, and wanted to be a part of the detective teams in your favorite true crime shows/podcast, this is your game. It beats going to a bunch of classes and training, and skipping that whole background check thing. Great game, devs. Bravo.

Very good puzzles game. Some puzzles are easy, some are very difficult (my opinion). I enjoyed the game play and concepts. What I think can be improved upon is the notes function and the browser. The notes thing could be annoying because it couldn't be open and use other screens. As for the browser, missing the ability to go back and forth using a back arrow button or forward arrow button made me ditch using it and just flipping between chrome and the app.

I love this game, it's difficult in a very rewarding way. They legwork and researching, not only do you uncover the story and mystery but also interesting information about things all over the world. It's really hard to find good puzzle games but this is one I've enjoyed every step of the way. Although, I will say there have been an occasion or two where I've been totally stumped and needed the clues the offer. Can't wait for the next bit!

A clever idea, and not badly executed, but there are a few problems. In a couple of puzzles, you are expected to look up old newspapers but the sites where they are archived are either not accessible without memberships or have broken images. The text throughout was not carefully vetted, and the mistakes are not in character with the person addressing you. Anyway, as I said, it's not bad.

Lovely concept executed fairly well! Love the puzzles, they feel quite impossible at the start, until you figure out how the game expects you to tackle them, and that you should really try every single possible approach you can think of. (short of just googling the answers) I would have liked it if there was a tad bit more help and clarification given to the player around the start, but other than that, great puzzle game! Highly recommend it to anyone who thinks this may be their thing!

TL/DR: Amazing gameplay for free, a MUST Ads are smartly added, game can be played and enjoyed without ads, too. The puzzles are great! I thought I was a good "Googler" but this game can show and teach how to properly use a search engine. Great job, thumbs up, can't wait for next chapters! Even if I have to pay for it, it'll totally be worth it!

This game is delightfully challenging without being impossibly difficult. This is the first puzzle game I've played that using the internet to figure out clues was not dissuaded but highly encouraged. That aspect made the puzzles innovative, clever and challenging. I look forward to the next game with anticipation! My only complaint is the picture for puzzle #2 mission #5 was not clear at all for the important part, which ruined that puzzle for me. Please sharpen the image!

Fun game. It is simple enough for newcomers to the genre, though experienced ARG players will find it pretty straightforward. Even so, the graphics are excellent and the game play is good for a couple casual hours. One note, turn up the brightness on your screen and wear your glasses if you need them. Some pertinent details are challenging to spot for old eyes.

A bit lacking in directions but it seems that's the intended gameplay. There are no real rules. I'm only half way through mission 2. Answers up to that point were maybe a 3 of 10 difficulty at most. Stage 3 of mission 2 was easy to find but easily overlooked. I invent my own escape room puzzles for 4-5 grade kids so I can truly appreciate the difficulty in making challenging puzzles especially when it's encouraged to use the internet. Very creative. I look forward to playing more!

Please make it harder. Had lots of expectations after the first 2 missions thinking it would be harder, and that it's gonna have a story to it, but it just got easier, and there's no story anymore so the mystery factor is gone. Please make the second one harder and add more not commonly known codes. But overall, I was really impressed at first, very great game and concept, just needs improvement.

Very interesting game, there aren't enough ARG's in my opinion so this is great. Some puzzles are tough to where I had to use one hint, and I had to get all the hints and the answer for the puzzle red of mission 5 instead of being able to figure it out on my own. The ending also seems very abrupt (nothing happens after finishing the last puzzle) but maybe that's because chapter 2 is underway.

I appreciated some of the historical references, but they sometimes lacked the cohesion needed to create relevance. As for the puzzles, they feel somewhat repetitive and too simple (placing letters in reverse order spelling is not complicated and feels cheap). Some of the puzzles are also asinine and sloppy. As for grammar, there are simple grammatical errors throughout the game; it's hard to take the game seriously when the moderators can't bother to take grammar seriously.

It feels there is some hidden backstory about the events in the game, kinda like SUPERHOT VR. The puzzles are fun and I'm looking forward to more in the future. Note to devs : the start screen is overlapping the puzzle select screen. Sometimes I can't continue to play and have to restart.

A brilliant game in my opinion...I recommend everyone to try it out. The game consists of a variety of different puzzles and requires many skills to find the solution or answer. The fact that you allowed to use the browser to solve puzzles was very unique and fun. I am also thankful to this game as it taught me about a lot of things like ciphers, murderers and more.
