- bad rendering occasionally. - Needs better touch screen controls settings to even be playable without gamepad. look at emulators like "MyOldBoy" for an example of good touch screen control settings. - also crashed when trying to go into settings with a game running. - the app kept my back/home/app switch buttons open at all times.
Frame rate is crisp on my Samsung Galaxy S10e, and sometimes there are very small graphical errors, but it doesn't effect the gameplay at all. It's just amazing how this can be done.
overall it pretty good and fun. But you can't play certain roms the selection for them could be better. And the mappings for the c buttons is not to good I'm using a ps4 controller and just doesn't work to well.
The game play is great and rarely any slow down on my samsung a50 the only problem is that if you want to back out of a game or go into settings mid game etc it just crashes and you have to restart but the emulation is next to perfect
It worked pretty well, for about 10 minutes, then just crashed on me and won't open anymore. Occasionally this won't happen, but I usually end up having to uninstall and reinstall the app.
Used in development game to test features and f3dex2 support seems to be based on jabo which is confusing as PC pj switched to glide being far superior. Teq commands seem to die but no retail games use them. Not the worst but room for improvement.
It works great, easy to understand, lag intense/lag warning. Super mario 64 is playable but not very well.
not sure if it's a one off, but almost crashed my phone, tried to run Mario paint 64 for the 64dd but gave a black screen.
Everything is fine until I try to launch a game. Whether it's compressed or extracted the emulator stays at a black screen.
in 2019 on yge galaxy s8 it lags pretty bad, the emulation needs some optimization because I have 4 GB of ram and can't run ocarina of time or super mario 64 on this emulator
a great app for playing n64 games sure they may have issues and crashes here and there but other than that, the gameplay is pretty smooth and amazing and recommended people to download this app
its good. But when i pair a controller to my phone insted of pressing the buttons i have to hold the buttons insted of pressing them..which makes platforming alot harder
I have been playing Zelda Ocarina of time got to the last temple before the end of the game and my game crashed on me it loads but the screen is black.......I'm scared and devastated. 😭
it is the world's most excellent emulator. it's amazing,I played showdown 64 in it it was really working. It is wonderful I like it so much
Don't waste your time. The apps own plugins are all kinds of screwed up, and seem to no longer work for the app itself. RIP Space Station Silicon Valley glitch hunting/game breaking save states.
I use both my computer and phone for this emulator. The Android version is okay but I honestly prefer the PC version
Some people say that its low quality but i recommend to try this app its super fun and it doesn't run to fast because later i think your phone will explode
Well the long and short. Greedy dev that's doing a crappy job. Even the pc version where he demands monthly fees is garbage and doesn't work. Move on folks lots out there that do work well not that anyone in particular is perfect but at least the other devs deserve a small bump for there time. But not this one.
Constantly Crashes, save function doesn't work, sounds off.
Even though it has lots of bugs and crashing issues and needs development, but it's still one of the best
love that its finally on android, just wondering if you can add customization to the touch screen controls
It's not bad, graphics are a bit glitchy but it works.
omg Horrible on the note 9. not all roms work and if they somehow do it's glitchy. not worth it.
Project64 is very amazing and fun. Does it only work perfectly with newer phones?
minor fixes yeah right everytime i try to play super smash bros on my phone the app keeps crashing fix it this time
I've had a wonderful time with Project64's PC version on my old computer, but unfortunately I can't speak much for it on Android. First time opening worked fine, until I navigated it to scan my Downloads folder where the test ROM I quickly downloaded (Pokémon Snap) was, and then application crashed during scanning. Now whenever I open it, it shows the loading screen before immediately crashing. Hope this gets improvement in the future, but for now I'll enjoy it on PC ^^ ❤
